Celebrating a 40th Birthday... The location and service was outstanding.

Great atmosphere, view and food!!

A fine choice, with perfectly prepared seafood dishes. Location has excellent views of the harbor, service was outstanding. Our server recommended a nearby business for after-dinner activities.

Best Destin restaurant. Have been. coming here for year. Get there before 6 if you want to take advantage of the BOGO entrée.

This restaurant is outstanding! We originally were thinking of visiting one of the other local seafood restaurants, but am so glad we came here! Our server was Robin. She was very well informed on all their dishes from appetizers to desserts. She was so friendly, yet maintained a professional attitude. All her recommendations were spot on from the shrimp croquettes (shrimp toasts) to our entrees, the gulf coast grouper & the andouille crusted Louisiana redfish, both entrees included roasted potatoes, trimmed green beans, carrots & squash. We had the 5:00 reservation, which is also when they open. People were already arriving and being seated. The decor is somewhat outdated. Our table was inside, but right next to their floor to ceiling windows overlooking the intercostal. Between 5:00-6:00 p.m. Marina Cafe offers a 2 for 1 special on all entrees from all pasta dishes to all seafood dishes, but restricts one steak dinner per couple. We will definitely be dining here every time we are visiting Destin!

My wife and I ate on the patio and it was fantastic food and service!

We had a lovely time at The Marina Cafe. Being on the water with windows on every side is a beautiful way to eat dinner and the indoor ambience is also lovely. The food was excellent and we all took advantage of the prix fixe dinner. The choices on the prix fixe menu are wonderful.

The appetizers were a bit hit with all three of us, the entrees and desserts as well. We hadn't seen each other in a while and had lots of talking to do and we never felt rushed or intruded upon!

We will definitely return! Plus I already told my husband we're going there one night soon too!

We always enjoy coming to Marina Cafe when visiting Destin. The pan seared Louisiana red fish with fresh vegetables and potatoes is a delectable dish.

The view of the marina is beautiful and the service we received was impeccable.

The red fish was fresh and delicious . We also tied the pasta pesto with shrimp and the flavors were outstanding . We were seated by the window with a great view while we enjoyed our food .

Marina Cafe is always one special restaurant my wife and I will always visit when we travel to Fort Walton/Destin area, at least 2 or 3 times a year. We have never had a bad experience at Marina Cafe, and the food and drinks are always top notch. We look forward to our next visit!

Food was tasty but everything was served like warm. Service was horrible but we asked for different server and it improved.

Had a reservation but our table was not ready for over an hour past our reservation time. Service was so-so, overall slow, but food was good.

We have dined here many times and were certainly not disappointed on this occasion. We had reservations (on a Tuesday night) thank goodness, because they were full and turning people away. Even with the unexpected full restaurant, service and quality were as exceptional as always. The wait time for our food and drinks was insignificant and the preparation was perfect. Many restaurants would have not been able to pull this off but these guys are pros in every way. The swordfish was exceptional!

Fantastic experience once again in our favorite restaurant. I've lived here 24 years and the Marina Cafe is consistently spectacular! From Wally the manager greeting us at the door to Bryce our server, it was a 5-star VIP experience!! Can't wait to go back again soon for the andouille-crusted redfish. Yum!!

Parking was easy, and they seated our reservation immediately. Surprising for spring break.

Seemed like all the tables had a view of the marina/bay and the deck offered an opportunity for sunset selfies.

Wait staff was excellent and even tried to pull off a harmless April Fools prank. Her Polish accent was wonderful.

The fried oyster salad was fresh, warm and delicious. I have had them in the past, and they are usually heavy on the dressing. Fresh spinach and jalapeño bacon made this a perfect blend.

The cavatelli pasta/ gulf shrimp was just as good. I hate grape tomato’s, but these were almost good because of the basil pesto cream sauce. I almost shied away as many cream sauces are too heavy. This one was light, fresh and balanced the kalamata olives. The shrimp were a little smaller than I expected, but were tasty and fresh.

We did not get desert. I wish I had tried the butterscotch creme brûlée, or white chocolate bread pudding. But, we were comfortably full and did not want to overdo it.

When we are in the area, we will definitely be back.

We enjoyed our Easter dinner at Marina Cafe. I found it through reviews here on OpenTable. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal. My filet was cooked to perfection, my husband said his shrimp and scallops with grits were excellent. He had the fried oyster salad as well. Waiter was very kind to our son. Only hiccup was I think he forgot to put the app order in, but it was worth the wait- the pork belly was really good. Topped it off with a jumbo brownie and coconut cream pie ( best ever) and a great cup of coffee. Beautiful views of harbor too.

Favorite restaurant in Destin! The Pan Seared Andouille Crusted Louisiana Redfish with Cayenne butter is worth our 1000 mile drive to Destin! Great Happy Hour with 1/2 price drinks and appetizers and an early bird entree special, buy one get one free from 5-6pm. The view is spectacular and the service wonderful!

Great cocktails, great food, excellent service and a view that just can't be beat. Was a great end to our visit in Destin. We will be back. Highly recommend all of the salad options (our table tried one of each!) and the seafood was fabulous! Scallops - WOW! Beautiful, beautiful view, great atmosphere.

My family and I were in Destin for spring break and was looking for good seafood restaurant to eat. With tripadvisor recommendation and close to our hotel, we went. The location is on the water and it has no bad seat. The view would've been really nice but at night time and rainy, difficult to see. The waitress was good, didnt remember her name, and professional. Since it was late night dining, we were hungry so the warm bread was very good to us. Unfortunately, that was the only thing I can remember worth mentioning. Crab cake appetizer came quickly which we were grateful. It was good but not as good as to Old Patty Restaurant from Pensacola. Not sure what the hype about, the food was just okay for us, party of 4. It was an expensive dining for just an okay food and not for budget tourist unless maybe for lunch time.

Service was poor. There wasn’t a formal introduction, and the waiter acted like he had somewhere better to be during each interaction with us. The food was good after it finally arrived after sitting for two hours. The experience was wasted because of lack of even average service.

I would have given it an across the board 5* but the restaurant was out of a few menu items. We arrived pretty early 6:30pm on a Friday night. The explanation was the chef was on vacation. March/April is a very busy time in Destin. Great view and wonderful service. We will return.

Menu wry nice and food was delicious. Carpaccio appetizer was superb would return just for that. Drinks were perfect and our server was awesome. If weather was cooperative, would have loved to sit outside For a nice view of Destin Harbor.

Excellent service by our waiter, Dave. We were celebrating our 55th wedding anniversary and Dave was very tuned into the occasion. I do believe the meal was the best I have had any where in the area! Looking forward to our next visit.

Great food, location, service, atmosphere. Only recommendation is to bring back the mashed potatoes.

Our server David was great. Even when the 4 year old spilled water all over he and others came and cleaned up the mess.

There was a bit too much sauce on my grouper, but everything else was delicious!!

While on vacation with our kids, we celebrated our wedding anniversary here. The views alone was worth the visit. Service was top notch and the food was delicious!

The food was great but the service in the bar and at the table was very slow. Our waiter was very cordial. We had a 5:30 reservation for 5 adults and were served our food after 7 pm. The ordering process in both the bar and dinner table were really drawn out. Then we waited a very long time for our meal to be served. I would recommend this for the view and quality of food but the prices were pretty steep.
