Marigold Kitchen in Philadelphia is a multi-course meal experience served in the dining area of a traditional Victorian home. Guests are offered seasonally thoughtful courses using carefully selected local ingredients.

The menus at Marigold Kitchen are always evolving and comprise 10-12 courses for the full tasting and 5-6 courses for the abbreviated menu (available Tuesday through Thursday only). A card is required to make a reservation and a $30/seat charge will be applied if cancellation is within 24 hours of the booked time.

Terrific dinner with my wife for her birthday while the little ones were at “kids night out”. Pace was perfect. Plenty of time to talk since we did not have to select from a menu with the tasting style presentation. All of the food was delicious. Liked that it was BYO and we could drink wine of our choice. Highly recommended. Charming Victorian home in neighborhood.

Marigold was by far the best dining experience we've had. We went there to celebrate my wife's birthday. The dishes were truly creative and perfected at all levels, including taste, texture, presentation, and concept. The ambience of the place was not ideal. but you can barely focus on background given the excellent food and service

11-13 courses, 100$, byob, easy free street parking in west philly, very adventurous and imaginative plates(new American), set inside a charming Victorian home, with impeccable service. There’s no set menu, just whatever the chef prepares, you eat. Don’t sleep on this hidden(and affordable) gem!

Outstanding would be an understatement, from the moment you enter the restaurant to the time you are ready to step out, you will be treated to impeccable service, undivided attention and a culinary spectacle melding flavors, tastes and textures. Chef Leveillee's creativity, imagination and execution is the result of his desire to push the envelope , not adhere to norms and profound respect for the ingredients he works with, it is a testament to his pure love and sense of adventure when it comes to food. As an individual who is wary of tasting menus ( I am still hungry by the time they are over) the portions were perfect, each course was carefully crafted and one could see the thought put behind each dish. Food is as much science as a spectacle of visual treat and Marigold Kitchen will not disappoint you. If you are expecting the everyday and mundane, steer clear, but if you are willing to give yourself a chance to mesmerized, amazed and surprised in the same breath and course then look no further. The staff is very mindful of allergies and health concerns and they ensure no matter what your request is , you still have an wonderful experience. A special mention to the amazing waitstaff and supporting employees, you know they take their work seriously when they ensure every fork and every knife after each course is placed with the same care , from first to last!

Gastronomical poetry! A tasting menu of delicious, interesting, beautiful food; every gorgeous little plate offered complex flavors clearly created with great thought, care and sophistication. The timing of each course was perfect and the servers described the dishes specifically and with clear appreciation. The restaurant was very accommodating and seemed happy to offer variations- vegetarian, pescatarian, dairy free, etc. A very special food experience we've been talking about all weekend!

I brought my wife to Marigold's kitchen after walking by the restaurant every day for the past 4 years. We are definitely not ones to spoil ourselves by eating out but we wanted to try something new. I was apprehensive about spending a lot of money on a dinner for two with the opportunity cost of such a restaurant but I found it was more then worth it. I recently learned the technique of mindful eating and this restaurant was a perfect adjunct. I enjoyed every course with every bite being a new flavorful sensation of fall themed originals. Their service here was exceptional and they really made this special evening out with my wife a night we shall remember. "There's a world out there! Open a window, and it's there!"

This used to be one of my favorite restaurants in the city...certainly my favorite chef’s tasting. The last two times I’ve been disappointed. There is no WOW factor anymore. Many of the dishes are less creative, more weird. Disappointing for sure.
