Marie Gabrielle Restaurant & Gardens Ratings and Reviews
The staff was kind and the food was fine. However, we expected a different atmosphere based on the website - perhaps comparable to a Ziziki's, St. Anne's or Parigi's. We were looking forward to getting out of our comfort zone and trying a new spot. Regrettably, this was just another dining option in another corporate building. I'm sure it is convenient for courting business associates in between meetings upstairs. But, by no means remarkable.
Always get a great lunch and amazing service at Marie Gabrielle. This time we also got amazing service from the valet parking. My friend parked that way and knew that they closed at 2 p.m. We got carried away with our conversation in the quiet and peaceful dining room and 2 p.m. came and went and in walked the very nice valet parking man with her keys!!! We were blown away! Mercedes was also a very special waitress and her colleague whose name I did not get was exceptional, as well.
There are 2 different restaurants: a cafeteria style and a dining room. The dining room is by reservation only. It can be confusing what part is what. The employees aren't very helpful and the entrance to the reservation area is behind a partition with a sign that's hard to see. We intended to dine in the reservation only part but literally could not find it after asking several people where it was. The cafeteria food was still good and the park is beautiful to enjoy, but we expected something different. We will return to try the actual dining room but we were disappointed with out first experience.
We were checking out the restaurant as a possibility for a wedding reception venue. It was not clean, the ceiling tiles were falling apart, and there was obvious water damage. The tables were uncomfortable. For a $200 meal I would expect not to have to sit with my knees in a metal bar on a gold out table. The food was average. The wait staff was not entirely attentive despite there not being many customers. Overall I was not impressed and would not recommend.
This was my first time at this restaurant and it was absolutely amazing. The setup was great. They have a garden/outside area that's beautiful to look at from inside or eat within. It was a very nice looking establishment...clean, well kept, spacious. I had the grilled porkchops...SO GOOD!!! Amazing! It was perfect. Even the roasted potatoes were amazing. Everything was perfectly cooked and seasoned. I will definitely be going back...can't wait. The only thing that took away from my experience was trying to find the location and finding parking in their parking garage for visitors. Other than this...amazing experience.
It's a great place for outdoor dining even Sunday brunch, when weather permits! Otherwise it's nice and romantic inside too.we went for Mother's Day brunch, unfortunately it was raining so we have to dying inside. The ambiance was good and the food that was served buffet style was delicious, however a bit pricey and it did not include Mimosa. Be sure to walk around the pond area and enjoy the outdoors that it offers. I imagine it to be very nice for dinner once they have lights turned off.
We REALLY enjoyed a beautiful Easter Sunday brunch here...selection and choices of delicious food was amazing..service was so friendly and perfect...ambiance was the best...it was a rainy day but we still had a gorgeous relaxing view sipping our brunch cocktails! This is a wow place.
Marie Gabrielle Restaurant is so fancy without the fancy prices. I was very impressed with the ambiance both inside and out. The decor, table settings, and even the menu had a very rich, luxurious feel.
All seven of us were extremely happy with our meals. Due to the weather, we had to eat inside, but we had a table near the large retractable windows so we could still enjoy the view of the scenic gardens and pond.
Another big plus was the free, underground parking. I was also surprised by the cafeteria style take out line. Everything looked delicious, including the chocolate cake. But alas, we didn't have room for dessert. Maybe next time.
I will definitely go back to Marie Gabrielle for lunch. I only wish it was open for dinner!
Needed a quiet downtown restaurant for a customer lunch. Made reservations at Marie Gabreille because it was close for the customer. Everything was perfect. Very responsive watress that was always on the spot but did not interrupt conversation. Menu offered good selection of salids, sandwiches, and full entrees. Food delivery was responsive and food was good. Check was delivered in a timely manner. Very good choice for a customer lunch and I wll use this restaurant again.
