Margaret Kuo's - Wayne
Definitely eat here, you won't regret it.
Lovely place. Went for the Peking duck. Duck itself was good but pancakes were dry and disgusting. Had the waiter come back before hunger took over we would have sent them back. Service very uneven. Great dumplings and rabbit appetizers.
Food was very good, especially the cold water lobster spring rolls. All good quality, reasonably priced and attentive service.
Always delicious. Great place to impress out of town guests.
The food was amazing, the service and ambiance couldn't have been better.
This was our first visit, but will not be our last. We had drinks, appetizers and main courses. The decor is fun (and a little formal) and we were very comfortable at our table. We enjoyed everything, from the little snacks on the table through to the last bite. The service was a little slow at times, but the wait staff and hosts were very friendly and helpful. Give yourself a treat and try an evening out at Margaret Kuo's!
Food and service were very good. We were however surprised and disappointed that despite the dining room being 80% empty they sat a party right next to our table( against the wall).
Terrific all around!
Our waiter disappeared. We had to ask for the same water multiple times. Peking duck was just okay. Shrimp lettuce rolls were good. Overall, food was fair. Service was awful. The restaurant was empty. I can understand why. We won’t be back.
Even a driver there is doing so nice. Great food plus great people traits
It looks like the restaurant has seen better days. The wallpaper was peeling off the wall next to us and everything had a feeling of tiredness.
Somehow they ran out of noodles by 7:30pm on a Saturday, claiming they had been very busy yet the restaurant only had a few tables seated.
My husband enjoyed his meal but mine had a ratio of sparse meat to an enormous amount of rice noodles that was tasteless.
No one asked if we enjoyed our meal even though it was obvious I only had 2 bites of mine.
We wont be going back any time soon.
Always an outstanding dining experience.
Excellent food and service. Very nice interior. We will definitely go back soon.
Had lunch there on Mothers' Day with a few friends. The food was excellent as always and the owners were present and chatting with the diners, making them feel welcome. Waiters were struggling as it was very crowded but they carried on admirably.
Fantastic Food!!! Great Dinner.
A consistently great food experience every time we visit.
Fine Dining Experience. Our Chinese Americqn Dining Companions, also rated the experience, very high !
Elegant, delicious meals presented with style and at a sensible price.
Food and service were fabulous. It was my first time at restaurant but I will definitely return.
Fabulous. Always fabulous. Warren is amazing. We ordered the special 7 course dinner and Warren personally explained every aspect and each dish. Wonderful experience.
We always have a lovely time here. Food is excellent. Staff is friendly
Enjoyed the restaurant immensely. Service excellent. Food delicious and the ambiance wonderful. Highly recommend it!!
I would recommend for the food only, service was rushed as the chefs were getting ready to leave. One of our orders was omitted, overall just extremely poor customer service.
Sushi n veg goyza amazing!! Rabbit stew though I would pass. All bones n minimal meat:( love it here n won't let the boney stew keep us away. ..plenty of other delicious choices on the menus!!!!
If you want good Chinese food, this restaurant is ten times better than PF Chang’s! Also great for groups of any size!
Service was terrible. People seating guests, presume the owners, were rude and not accommodating
Always great but on Valentine’s Day didn’t seem crazy busy but they seemed to be having issues. But the food was worth the wait. And the staff did work really hard to make it great.
Lousy service, so disappointed!!!
When we arrived, there was confusion in the hostess area. Eventually, the hostess led us to a table. As we started to sit down, a gentleman stopped us, inquired who we were and then directed that we be re-seated. Apparently that table was reserved for someone else and the hostess wasn't aware. Towards the end of the meal, the same gentlemen came around, quickly moving from table to table, to inquire how we enjoyed our meal. The speed of his passing suggested this action was more of a formality rather than a genuine inquiry. We noted that he didn't appear to follow-through on our request for our check. (Perhaps he didn't hear us given his speed.) Our party definitely agreed that we wouldn't return to this particular Kuo restaurant.
Best Asian restaurant in the Delaware valkey
We had an early reservation on New Year's Eve and were greeted promptly at the wait staff. Our food arrived in a reasonable amount of time. However, my husband ordered three appetizers instead of one entree, and my entree didn't come out until he finished his last appetizer, even though they appeared to be spaced apart. I would have preferred better timing.
Also, the area where we were sitting on the second floor was a bit chilly. We didn't say anything but when a couple nearby voiced a similar complaint, they were moved to another table. I wish I had requested a move as it was harder to enjoy my food with my coat on, although by that time we already had food on the table, and it would have been more inconvenient to move. My suggestion for the restaurant staff would be to be more attentive to the temperature inside.
Food was not the best. Oyster dish had very little oyster. Needs a good cleaning.
The restaurant seemed very understaffed that night. We were seated 30 minutes after our reservation, after people who came in later than us. We received everything we ordered, but several tables around us complained that items were forgotten.
The dishes were of good quality, so I would probably come back again, but not over a holiday.
They took so many reservations that we were told it would be 1/2 hour minimum wait for a table. That is what Open Table is supposed to eliminate. It was bedlam, and there was no organization. It could have been at least 1 and 1/2 hours before food, with a half hour wait for a table, so we chose to leave. Very disappointing.
A disappointing experience. When we arrived there were 20-30 guests waiting in the lobby of the restaurant who had not been able to check in. Some of whom had waited at least for 30 minutes by the time we got there. After waiting for an additional 20 minutes with no movement we were told we could go upstairs to the Japanese section where we could get a table. We wanted Chinese food and we were told we could get Chinese food upstairs. We did get a table upstairs and after ten minutes a waitress appeared. We asked for a Chinese menu. The waitress told up we would have to wait a very long time to get Chinese food as the Chinese kitchen was downstairs. Being frustrated by the experience we opted for the Japanese food. The choices were mundane and poor. I believe that the restaurant overbooked and could not handle the crowd. Too bad because they are better than that.
Noting that Christmas is always the busiest day for the Asian restaurant world. Service was poor and inattentive, food was good, but was received at room temp. ( including the soup), after requesting our check from the bartender, he was the first person to apologize for the service and thank us for our patience and patronage...only thing that saved the experience
This is the second year that we went to this restaurant on Christmas and it never fails to please. We were seated 10 minutes after our reservation time which was amazing for Christmas day. The food was great. Our waiter was friendly and helpful and the restaurant was really quiet so that we could have a real conversation without trying to speak over others in the room. It was a birthday as well and it was the perfect choice for the occasion. Highly recommend this restaurant if you are looking for upscale Chinese food.
Anthony (Kai) was wonderful. In spite of 1 of the busiest nights of the year (Christmas at 6:00), he was gracious and extremely kind making it a wonderful celebration. The food of course was delicious.
