A premium choice for true Italian fine dining, Marco provides an authentic Italian experience, from the menu in Italian and English to the dining room decor. The mediterranean village atmosphere is complete with warm-toned stucco walls and Italian hand-painted dishes. Our team of chefs passionately prepare the finest dishes. Menu suggestion: Begin with crispy fried calimari, shrimp and oysters served with homemade tartar sauce followed by a delicious entree of whole branzino baked in rock salt, cleaned tableside and served with sauteed asparagus, mashed potatoes and 3 jumbo shrimp, and end with a scoop of homemade gelato. The private room is available for any function seating up to 40 people.

Ever see Caddy Shack where Rodney Dangerfiekd walks into the Golf Club and insults all the nattily dressed white haired waspy members? That is what it felt like dining at this place. Food was VERY good. Wait staff was also very good and the owner came by the table and was very friendly. It just seemed like the "19th hole" of a count try club. All the white hairs men were in the same Andrea's sport costs, white shirt and tan pants. Turns out THERE iS a golf club across the street. BTW-the flourless chocolate tort was incredible.
We love Marco's. The food is always wonderful and we love the piano music during dinner. It is just soft enough to be in the background but we are still able to have good conversation. We loved being seated at a round table, again because conversation is easier with the entire group and we can see everyone.
I rated it lower overall because the service was not up to par. One member of our table ordered the sea bass in salt and it came our first. The waitress was not completely confident in the filet process. The other meals came out one by one rather than all at once and one member did not receive their meal until much, much later than the rest. The group, being polite, waited and the members who selected fish had cold food by the time everyone was served. The restaurant was not at all packed and busy the evening we ate there so I don't think this was a factor. For the price (over $350 for a group of six), this was just not acceptable. Again, we love Marco's and will come again but would love for the service to be more in line with the food which is exceptional.
I have always been a fan until this visit. I lived in the area for months and used to go frequently. I went back this last time with hopes of good food and good service that I have had before. Well, no such luck! The chicken was dry and the service was horrid. I'm sorry if I don't look older and distinguished like some of your guests may look. You asked what was wrong and why there was 85-90% of the chicken left and we told you it was dry. You asked if we wanted something to replace it and we said no because we had been there for almost two hours already and still had another hour and a half drive. Well Marco you just lost someone who used to be a fan, sing your praises and recommended to everyone that I could.
Very quaint restaurant beautifully decorated with an Old Italia feel. Excellent piano player! Absolutely the BEST fettuccini Alfredo we've ever tasted! The Mediterranean Branzino filleted and served table side was aromatic, moist, and delicious. For dessert the orange Rosemary creme brûlée was out of this world!! Definitely will return!
Incredible service for a romantic evening for two. Every detail was taken care of. Hostess helped with setting up the perfect seating, having a fresh bouquet of flowers at the table and the perfect bottle of wine. She even had the piano player sing happy birthday. My fiance was blown away by all the attention she received on her special evening. Thank you Autumn. You were the best.
Over priced for quantity and flavor. Caesar salad tasted heavily of anchovies, i felt like i was eating fish scale salad. The filet was small and the marinade they used totally masked the steaks flavor and i felt like i was eating a stewed beef cut. The staff was frieny, but slow and not very attentive on refilling my drinks. I am sorry, but if i pay over $100 for a meal, i want better food and service. The piano player was a nice touch but you cant hear much else if you sit close to him.
While the food remains a nice quality, the portions are incredibly small and the prices are incredibly high. On a Saturday night the restaurant was 30% full when it should be 100% full. This really could be a gem but the menu and pricing needs to be reworked to attract a larger crowd. Good Luck.
The food was excellent with a nice choice of entrees on the menu. The wines by the glass were sorely lacking. The wines by the bottle were another story: a huge, albeit, overpriced selection. In this day of being cognizant of driving sober, one would appreciate a nice selection of wines by the glass. I don't want a whole bottle of wine with my dinner and then try to drive! The by the glass wines were cheap, grocery store selections that were called "Marco's wines". Open some decent bottles of wine and sell them by the glass!
I am never disappointed. Autumn was my server for the evening, and she was quite charming and professional. My companion and I dined on Bronzino and a fillet for two. Both were served table side, and perfectly prepared. I have enjoyed this retaurant for many years, and am yet to tire of its company.
Marco is an elegant, but friendly restaurant. We split the Fritto Misto appetizer as well as the Baked Mediterranean Branzino and both were excellent. Dinner was finished off with a delicious slice of cheesecake. Good wine and one of the best vodka gimlets ever made the dinner even better. Service was impeccable.
