Marco Polo's @ The Viana Hotel & Spa
Compliment your meal with a glass of wine or a specialty cocktail from our full service bar. Complete your night out by sipping on an after dinner drink or stop in at our adults only game room and lounge area.
A dish that epitomizes luxury and continental glamour. We start with a tender cut of choice filet mignon briefly sautéed to order in rich butter and mushroom sauce, the pan is deglazed with a blend of cream, fresh shallots, Worcestershire sauce, Dijon mustard finished with a flambé of brandy
We begin with a choice fillet of fresh salmon, coated in our rich Teriyaki sauce and grilled to order. Finished with a generous topping of our original sweet and savory South Asian style pineapple mango chutney, served with a side of fluffy Oriental imported Jasmine rice and local seasonally available vegetables
Wasabi Mashed Potatoes
Fresh Idaho golden mashed potatoes lightly infused with a gentle touch of Japanese staple mustard, Wasabi. Try it you'll like it!
LET'S JUST SAY THAT WE LEFT WITHOUT ORDERING.. COMPLETE LACK OF SERVICE!
Had a great time for my birthday, very nice place
Food was ok but left you hungry. Wait staff was inappropriate with unwanted and unsolicited advances. Made my friend and myself uncomfortable and we left immediately.
Excellent food and service from start to finish.... drinks were top notch and heavy too.. really enjoyed will be back.
This is the third time we e been there. Everything - the food, drinks, service and ambiance is outstanding!
Service was excellent and the food delicious. It was very convenient being able to make reservations on opentable in advance.
Awesome place and delicious food!
All was perfect!
I nearly never leave bad reviews, but here I had to! We ended up ordering papa johns after paying $350 in this restaurant. Food was not good at all... never coming back here ever again.
Excellent service and great food Wonderful way to start the new year off
The restaurant has tasty dishes with an Asian flair. The food prices are fairly reasonable but the specialty drinks are a little expensive (my cocktail cost only one dollar less than my son's entrée, the American Style Kobe meatballs over Asian noodles.) The teriyaki salmon and the seafood linguine were good, too.
The Japanese crab cakes and Asian pesto dumplings were scrumptious.
We split a bountiful Mandarin salad with nothing left.
I ended with the Korean BBQ ribs which were second only to my in-laws.
I have never been disappointed here and we will be back.
The service was impeccable and the prices are quite reasonable.
My only wish is for an improved wine list.
Food is good, can accommodate gluten free. Usually quite if you go early.
Buffet breakfast has a lot of selections.
Excellent food and drinks.
Great location. Nice vibe
We have eaten at the hotel several times and loved how they updated the look for valentines day. Dinner was delicious and fun 5 course meal. I have noticed that the same welcoming staff is there time after time. I really enjoyed my entire dinner.
we went last Saturday for LI Restaurant Week
I had crab cake (very good), beet salad (very good) steak Diane (very good)
my wife had Asian ceasar salad( very good) chickeb saltimbocca (good), desret-s'more egg roll (excellent)
Waiter was very good attentive and knowledgeable
ambiance very nice
we will return
even main menu was reasonable
About 10 tables abdservice was extremely slow. But we enjoyed the food very much for our restaurant week date night
Food came late. Place was noisy and kind of sloppy. We had to wait a long time for someone to come and seat us.
The food was really great. We had the calamari and crab cakes for apps and the braised short ribs. Everything bf was delicious.
A hidden gem. Went to a show at Westbury and had dinner at Marco Polo's. The food, service and the preparation and display of the food was phenomenal. Would highly recommend !!!!!!!!
When there’s a catered party in the back, as there was when we were there, all the party guests traipse through the dining room to get in and out of the party room.
The open kitchen is a good idea, except it becomes a hangout for all the waitstaff to joke around with the chefs. Another annoyance.
Enjoyed our experience having dinner there. Liked the menu choices and food ordered was delicious! A little difficulty with the wine list, apparently they are currently redoing it but we were able to find a wonderful Merlot!
Food and service wonderful, darling and I are staying for the weekend next time
The food was delicious, but it was really set up just as a hotel restaurant. There is so much potential but as it is right now, I would not recommend.
Was a little disappointed because we didn’t realize it was restaurant week so there was a very limited menu and when I first chose Marco Polo as I looked at the whole menu and was hoping to order something that struck my fancy. Other than that I serve Alan was terrific and the food that they did service was good again disappointed because I couldn’t order off the whole menu
Our server was second to none. We noted that he also had to bartend as well as serve each of the tables. We were really impressed and will be go back to Marco Polo's because of the exceptional service.
It was the best experience Ever! The customer service from our waiter was superb, he went above and beyond. I believe his name was Allen.. Also the services at the spa was soooo relaxing. I give them 5 out of 5 stars. Not to mention the decor in the room was very romantic. Keep up the good work.
The restaurant seating area is very small. Service was great. Food was average.
I was on Long Island attending a conference and met my friend for dinner. We decided the hotel restaurant was simply convenient and we were really impressed with the menu — it’s a fusion of Italian and Asian cusine. This restaurant is a gem go and enjoy!
We went here prior to seeing a concert at the NYCB theater thinking how perfect it would be - so close to the venue. We were so wrong. The food was horrible. I had a lomein and meatball dish that was swimming in a sickeningly sweet sauce and the pasta was literally mush. Our cocktails were made with sour mix and not fresh lime, my Flat Tire beer was flat and then they ran out of it. They did not have the wine we wanted even though it is on the wine list. The only exceptional thing about this experience was our waiter Allen - he was beyond phenomenal. The burger one of our group got looked like it had been frozen and the bacon on top of it looked cooked and reheated. This was not the experience we were hoping for. The setting of the restaurant is out in the open next to the bar in the hotel....a little off putting if coming from the outside. We go the NYCB theater quite often and were hoping we found our dinner spot but this will definitely not be it.
Unless you live nearby or are in the vicinity for a show, it's not worth the trip. The waitress Ally was friendly and helpful, but the ambiance was affected by the wedding music and announcements in the adjacent room.
Wonderful mother daughter night! Everything was perfect! Our food was cooked perfectly. Service amazing. Could not have asked for better.
Christina our server was great but the food was just ok.
was not happy bed was terrible headboard had stains in it turned me off left in the middle of the nite
Christina, our server and bartender was excellent! She took the time to review and explain the dishes on the menu and make recommendations. She was very personable. We truly loved meeting her! The food was excellent! Good portions and delicious. The egg roll sampler was out of this world, a must have!
There was just ONE waiter for about 8 tables. He was working his butt off and naturally could’ve give us the necessary attention, but he was doing the best he could. Kudos to him. The bulb about our table at the back to the left of the party room was out and I haven’t been to a restaurant in YEARS that told us $5.00 for bread. Not good! We had seared salmon and tuna, both with potatoes and mixed vegetables. Both were excellent with 2 glasses of wine each. Overall it a very small dining area, really an attachment to the bar. There’s a lot they need to work on including getting more waitstaff. It was an ok experience.
Food was delicious. Quite unique and something for everyone! Service was great! Wait staff very attentive. Prices were great! Hidden gem. Would definitely go there again.
While the decor is wanting, the food continues to be nothing short of Outstanding!
Tried all new appetizers and entrees this time and there was nothing to take home.
Ended with a scrupulous slice of red velvet cake.
Service continues to be very attentive and the staff are
We will be back!
I would give this place - 100 if i could, there was no receptionist present, there was chaos,100 ppl around the bar,The hotel staff told me just go beyond the bar, someone will help you, there was one, tables were all over,no waiters,no help,so we left and went to another restaurant,I will advise any one not to go there
I have been to restaurants in hotels and they are excellent,it did not even look like restaurant.
A great little find in a nice hotel with an unusual flair for mixing up different types of cuisines!
