Fabulous service, extraordinary menu. Caviar service, great food, superb wine list. For French wine lovers, they sell DRC here, and a respectable list of Bordeaux. Great California selection as well.

Enjoyed the new location. Michael, our waiter, was a delight...personable, efficient , great smile, had wonderful suggestions regarding wine and entree selections. Looking forward to returning in the coming months.

The service was very good. The new restaurant was very well done. The food seemed to be good quality and reasonably priced. The primary disappointment that my wife and I had was with the flavorings [herbs, sauces, etc.] used by the chef. We didn't like their taste. The place was crowded, and from what I could see there were repeat customers. So, perhaps our taste likes and dislikes are not the "norm". But, we won't go back because the tastes were not pleasing to us.

A fabulous time from start to finish! Our first return since the move. From the moment we walked in and saw familiar faces we were treated like royalty. The menu is all you have come to expect from this fine establishment and so much more! All the classic dishes are back. But there are many new small plates and specials too! We can’t wait to come back.

We felt that the food was perhaps too rich for the California palette. Perhaps a tweak on the heavy French dishes to accommodate the California coastal culinary tastes would be more appropriate for this area. South Coast Plaza attracts a different crowd than laid back Laguna and CDM and I wonder if this restaurant will last long with the locals.

This was my first visit to the new location and I went there to celebrate my birthday. I thought the food was great, although the portion of the Duck Confit was a bit small for dinner. Overall, everything was great, but I was disappointed that the wine we brought was not opened immediately so that it could breathe (despite my request that the waiter do so). It took him quite a while to open it so by the time it did fully breathe, we were down to our last few sips. If a restaurant is going to charge $35 as a corkage fee, then I feel there should be proper service to go along with that fee. It simply wasn't there. Everything else was good though, so I would try it again...just not with an expensive bottle of wine from home!!
