This was my first time here and I cannot wait to come back. This new venue for the restaurant is absolutely beautiful. It was my wife's 30th birthday and the occasion was perfectly celebrated with impeccable service, delicious food, amazing champagne and wine and a dessert to remember to finish. Additionally the menu is very reasonably priced. I was pleasantly surprised by the amount of our check. Top notch food and service at an approachable cost.

The new Marche Moderne is a beautiful space with an open kitchen, cozy booths and a lovely patio. There was a fun and energetic vibe throughout the restaurant. We sat on the patio which was reasonably quiet. The main dining room seemed extremely noisy and would not be comfortable for a fine dining experience IMO. The service was good and attentive. The disappointment was solely on the food. It was certainly very good but it was NOT outstanding. The expectations were high for Marche Moderne's opening of this new place so the bar may have been hard to meet. The cost was over $500 for 4 with no dessert and only glasses of wine so not such great value. Always glad to pay for fine dining when it is exceptional. This unfortunately was not of that caliber this time. Maybe next time.....

Food was exceptional. Server was very nice and knowledgeable, but he had to many tables so wasn’t able to give our table the attention it deserved. We will definitely return.

Fabulous fabulous fabulous ‼️ My much anticipated wait paid off on Wednesday as I Open Tabled a coveted 6pm Rez and was seated directly in front of the GORGEOUS GOURMET KITCHEN 💕
I cannot possibly relay how exquisite the menu food and service was. But of course I already am loyal and love our Owner/Couple of Phenoms❣️ Bravo and best wishes but you don’t need them ❤️

Shopping center location with very high end cuisine beautifully presented. Really interesting and diverse menu. Waitstaff was helpful, friendly and relaxed. Room is very well done. We had one member of our party who was late - not a problem at all. Despite all of the above it was not as expensive as I might have suspected - quite good value.

It has a booth in the corner of the room should not be there. Becasue in front is a server access enter menu. So you end up looking at the waiter.
Booth should be remove

Not exactly a good for customer to sit , very small space sitting and not comfortable. Bad spot and feeling to sit at the corner. I had to ask for another table more in the open space

The only experience, I encounter since open at newport location. I have always go to the south coast location many yrs

Excellent foods

Our evening started out rough...the hostess handling reservations was clueless...couldn't find our reservation, spelled our name wrong multiple times looking for the reservation and pretty much indicated that we were at fault and there was nothing she could do. After we resolved that issue she seated us at a table opposite of what we asked for. (Hmmm...is there a reason we made our reservation 2 months in advance only to find there were no tables available??)

Suffice to say, after we were seated a lovely Host came over and moved us to a much better table and we had a marvelous meal with great service. Oysters, salads, the specials of Sole & Veal were all superb!

We will definitely return, but we will make sure to call the day of to confirm our reservation!

Outstanding restaurant! The Crispy Suckling Pig and Beans is not to be missed. The Lamb Couscous Royale - listed as an homage to OC eatery Pinot Provence a la 1998 - was also amazing. Can’t wait to go back!

Love the food. However, My daughter and I were seated in a dark corner of the patio. Was strange. Feel like we were the bad kids that they have to put in the corner. Should do something about the seating arrangement in that dark corner where the table for water and linens are set. They were right next to us. I did not get the cozy feeling that I should get in this restaurant. Sorry to say anything bad about this restaurant since I love the one in South Coast Plaza.

This new location for an Orange County classic is almost as perfect as its cuisine.
Active little bar great for people-watching. Long-time waiters know their stuff when
choosing French classics or the exotics. Deserves the title of Number One.

Love their new location in Newport Coast. Decor is delightful, patio seating lovely, service attentive and menu , as always, delicious. Small plates or large meal, the seasonal and traditional menu, is heavenly. The caviar tray is scrumptious and wine list is worthy.

This was the first time that we dined at the new Marche' Moderne location, and we were pleased with our overall experience. They did a fabulous job creating a wonderful ambiance. The food was delicious, and the service was attentive. We had made reservations quite a while in advance, and although they had our reservation, we were initially seated in an area that I heard the hostess tell another guest was all they had left for those who did not make a reservation. We were not particularly pleased with the location of our table, so we asked for a different table, which they accommodated, but I still felt that we were pushed to the side a bit. We are looking forward to giving the restaurant another try.

Bait and switch on the order. Everything over salted. If the rest of you think this is fine dining. It’s just on every street corner in Paris as a bistro much better and 1/2 the price of this overrated haute cuisine. Just another Newport Beach overrated 2 rate restaurant with 2 star Michelin prices. Not coming here again I cook better than this any day.

Go to Marche Moderne if you are interested in unique cuisines that are very original to Marche and you will not be disappointed! Big wine list and a nice assortment to small plates, appetizers and mains. I had the Dover Sole special and every bite was very, very delicious. My wife had the Rabbit main and she was delighted.

Reservations are very necessary because of the large number of diners who have been and who want to come back and enjoy again.

At this new location in our neighborhood, Marche put a stop to the beloved lobster salad and amazing beignets. The bone marrow did not include the caramelized onions either. Service was fine but as it got busier, we were left unattended.

We have always loved Marche and was sad to see it leave our area. We made the drive and still love it...the new location is beautiful and the extra patio seating is lovely. The restuarant was full. The food is amazing as always but the prices have gone up. The staff is so knowledgeable and makes the food sound as good as it tastes. My favorites are still on the menu! Hamachi is the best! The maui maui was so tasty as where the special appetizers..we had the squash trio! Never a bad meal. We look forward to them opening for lunch with the prix fix menu!
Will be back for sure!

This is my second time dining at this amazing restaurant. The food continues to be fabulous! Will continue to go back to try almost everything on the menu. You cannot go wrong at this restaurant, providing you can get a reservation! The food is exceptional! The only area of improvement is the length of time it takes to receive cocktails. On both occasions it is taken over 20 minutes.

Food is still great but the noise level is nearly unbearable with it difficult to hear at our small table of 4. At $35 per bottle, the corkage fee is a signifcnat discouragement to bring a special bottle of wine. Should have asked the price of the specials; we didn’t and we’re surprised on the bill by the $70 price tag!!!

It was our anniversary, they knew it and paid no attention. Nothing extra or special. I mentioned that when the bill arrived and said "for this price, no biscotti or anything?" He said "no". Wow. Expect this at a moderate restaurant but not an upscale one at these prices.

We are so happy you are back in business and closer to our home.
Our dinner was delicious with fresh ingredients not always available at other venues.
Service was excellent. Since we were seated on the terrace, our table was quiet--important to my husband who wears hearing aids.
We hope you are planning to open for lunch.
We are looking forward to the Sunday Brunch.

This was our first time dining at the new location. The restaurant is very pristine and we asked to be seated facing the open kitchen. We viewed the hustle and bustle of the culinary world and watched them cutting meat for the charcuterie. Our server, John, was very attentive and knowledgeable regarding the menu selections and wines by the glass to accompany each course. The wines by the glass menu is not very extensive. I ordered a marvelous beet salad to start, which included arugula, goat cheese and candied pistachios and was dressed with mustard/sherry/garlic. ($14.00). John recommended a glass of French sparkling rose ($14.00). He recited the specials for the evening and I opted for the veal chop with an intense red wine reduction, servered with pillowy gnocchi dumplings; ($69.00) I ordered it medium rare, towards the rare side and received it well done! It was returned to the kitchen and the replacment veal chop was seared to perfection and melted in my mouth! John recommended a merlot from Sonoma county ($13.00) to marry with the veal. My tablemate enjoyed her duck confit with black mission figs ($26.00). John suggested a glass of French rose to pair with the duck. ($15.00). We wanted to share a dessert and there is a plethora of choices, but we could not agree on one to split. As we were leaving, the manager asked if we enjoyed our meals (she was aware of the veal debacle) and invited us to return again. We arrived at 5:00 and the noise level was pleasant, but as more patrons were seated, it escalated.
