Elegant. Perfectly attentive staff but not overwhelming. Good spot for foodies.
My friend and I celebrate our birthdays with a Sunday Brunch at Marche'
We love the pleasant atmosphere and the delicious food.
She always has the Eggs Benedict. I had scrambled eggs, little doughnuts and
a fruit plate with great coffee.
I will probably be back next Sunday for more !
We were on a road trip and were looking for a good place for breakfast. Most of the places we looked at were not appealing but this place looked just right. We were glad we ate here and also enjoyed their other place called Provisions. They have coffee, baked goods and other foods to go as well as being a market and home goods store. Really a pleasant surprise.
We often meet friends here for Brunch and to catch up every couple of months. Food was delicious, as always and service was impeccable. We will return!
We have enjoyed Marche on many occasions. This Sunday's service was uncharacteristically slow as well as inaccurate. I am hopeful next Sunday's brunch experience will be back to the service we have typically enjoyed.
We had an amazing meal with exceptional service. The short ribs and tenderloin were expertly prepared.
Reservation system top notch. Prompt seating. Excellent, efficient, knowledgeable waitress, great cocktails, excellent food. Our best experience yet at Marche’s.
Our server was fantastic!
This was a special menu night at Marche. THey offered a regional menu for the Savoie and the Alps portion of france. It was exceptional in course design, taste, regional wines with each course and Prix Fixe.
This is our 'go to' restaurant in Eugene. Very rare to be disappointed in all the years we have been going here. Locally sourced, seasonal pics. Great blend of flavors. Great monthly 'regional dinners'. Great for happy hour, brunch, whatever. Great staff. We cook and eat well at home..... When we go out, we want something as good or better.... this restaurant fits the bill!
Wonderful winter menu. The new dish, risotto and pork was flavorful and well made. Another new dish was crudités with an anchovy dip. We ate all of it. Great. Wine and drinks were great as always.
I took my grandson who is a university student and one of his friends for brunch. Between them they ordered 3 entrees and a side of roasted potatoes and they ate every bit of it! Everything was delicious and I will be back and bring them again when driving through Eugene. Nice quiet atmosphere too - a welcome change from Portland's noisy restaurants.
Sean was a superb waiter and took care of us! The menu was fun and very tasty!!
Always a good experience at this place good food and good service is the norm
Love this place. Service was excellent food was delish . My new go to place in Eugene
Excellent food and service. Pricing is reasonable for the high quality food but tab goes up quickly with a bottle of wine (and who cant have french cuisine without a bottle of wine).
Roasted Brussel sprouts with Dungeness crab with lemon vinaigrette is to die for!
The varied dishes that the three of us ordered were very inconsistent in quality. The black cod was fabulous, the meatballs were terribly disappointing. One type of raw oysters was exceptional and the other left much to be desired. The flavor of the blood orange sorbet was weak but the apple crisp was delicious.
Excellent food, and extremely knowledgeable and helpful server!
Although in the past we thoroughly enjoyed our meal and service this time we were disappointed especially the service. Ordering a drink that came with an apertif she didn’t bring it and we had to ask for it. Also, we were surprised when our server mixed our second glass of wine with the first.
Our server also shamed our son from ordering too much food. Even with the above we would return hoping this was just an off night!
Great food, service and ambience but a little loud. We felt we had to talk louder than we wanted.
Perfect lunch celebrating my friends birthday. It was everything we hoped for.
A consistently wonderful meal and spectacular service
The food and service is always exceptional. Would like more non-fish options on the daily (not brunch) breakfast menu.
Reliably interesting menu. Very noisy, so don't plan on having a close conversation unless you want to shout.
Our waitress was very patient and very knowledgeable. I frequent Marche often and it is consistently fantastic. Great job Stephanie!!!
I enjoy Marche every time I come through Eugene. The food and atmosphere is stellar, the menu is fresh, local and beautifully prepared, the service friendly and willing to accommodate extra things such as hand making a cocktail sauce for the oysters because someone (my older brother) likes that instead of the delicious aioli that was served with his oysters. You can't go wrong with this wonderful French Northwest restaurant . An hour or so spent here will refresh you and make you feel like an old friend.
The food was ok, though the menu does not have a big variety.
Food and ambiance were amazing! What sets Marche apart from other restaurants is the service. Javan was a knowledgeable, engaging, friendly service professional...Marche is lucky to have him!
I was not disappointed. About what I expected. Was not overwhelmed though. Good, tasty food, but don't go here expecting a top chef experience.
The atmosphere a bit pretentious. The menu provided some interesting dishes and the presentation well done but a couple of the dishes were quite bland, in need of some spices.
Always a highlight of my trips to Eugene. Marche’ rivals many restaurants in larger cities...including Paris. And it surpasses them in friendly, approachable dining atmosphere.
I look forward to the new seasonal menu with each change of the season. This one was no exception, great seasonal local ingredients turned in to wonderful and tasty dishes. We will be back. So should you.
The service was good, as it always has been. The food, for about the second or third time, was mediocre to poor - we think the chefs have problems with cooking and food preparation. We've been coming to the Marche every sunday for brunch for the past several months, but probably no more because of what we think is sub-standard food.
We had not been to Marche for some time as frustrated by small salads and meals for the price. We decided to retry Marche last month and were pleased that the salads and portions were bigger and tasted great.
Recently went for lunch and disappointed with the vegetarian quinoa dish. Had it twice previously and excellent. Then this last time ,not as good. Some veggies black and inedible (Tomatoes),while others undercooked.
Very nice up-class restaurant with unique menu. Classy wait staff.
Delightful restaurant with great food and impeccable service. We stay at the Inn on 5th every January and always make a point to dine next door at Marche. It’s one of our favorite treats of the holiday season when we are in Eugene. Our meal was delicious and our waitress was a delight. Looking forward to our next visit.
We also had breakfast room service the next day - provided by Marche. It too, was excellent. I however was surprised and disappointed when I requested a bowl of mixed berries for breakfast and was informed they were not offered on the Marche menu. In Oregon? The fresh berry Capitol of the world? Very odd.
Never a bad meal. Our annual dinner with friends always finds us back at Marche.
It's everyone's choice!
The Marche is always consistent with their high-end quality French cuisine. Service is always excellent.
We went here for Sunday brunch and were pretty disappointed. I had made a reservation with Open Table, we were seated at a very small table pushed up against a window. It was several minutes before we saw anyone, then finally someone came by with water. When our waiter arrived he appeared a bit put out like he had been forced to wait on us and wasn't really happy about it. After he brought our food we never saw him again,The coffee was served in about a 4 oz cup, we went through our entire meal before we could find someone to ask for a refill. The food was fine, nothing remarkable. I ordered the eggs benedict - that's all you get - no potatoes, no fruit. There are many better options in Eugene, I will not return.
