Over the last week end we enjoyed three meals at Marche'. The only real complaint that we had was that the noise level made communication with our older ears a bit difficult but that was easily explained by the fact that they're packed with enthusiastic patrons. High quality food stuffs were elegantly and simply prepared and served by wait staff that were friendly but always respectful of their boundaries. While certainly not the cheapest place we have ever eaten, finding some place at this level elsewhere at this price would be near impossible.
Fantastic food, great service
Considerable dexterity in composing unique combinations. I had the lamb triad and was overjoyed at the interactions, especially with background vegetables. The cauliflower side dish also had a masterful spice.
If I lived in Eugene, I'd eat dinner here every night!
We had brunch here yesterday and as always it was absolutely wonderful. Our nephew and his girlfriend, visiting from L.A., were with us and they, too, absolutely loved it. Everything that we ordered was phenomenal and on point. The staff, most specifically our server, were amazing and incredibly attentive. We can’t say enough about your incredible restaurant. It is, without a doubt, one of absolute favorite places here in town.
We had an even better than normal romantic dinner at Marche last Friday night. We ordered an array of starters, tapas-style, a bottle of wine and settled in for a couple of hours, dreaming we were back in Paris for the evening. The food was right on point, the service top-notch, the ambiance just right for the moment.
Marché is a fantastic restaurant! The food is always amazing! The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is fantastic!!!! We love to sit at the Chefs table and watch the chefs cook! It’s so much fun!!! Love this place!!!!
Always a pleasure to dine and be cared for at Marche’. A true gem in Eugene .
We always go to Marche when we come to Eugene for the weekend. Love this place!
Always great food always great service! -we go there often, it’s our favorite restaurant!
Went to celebrate a friend's birthday. Lovely as always!
We truly enjoyed our first meal at Marche. We started off with oysters, they were very fresh and good. I had the melon and tomato salad, which was very flavorful. I had the steak for dinner and it was cooked perfectly with tomatoes and blue cheese topping it. The service was very good too.
Reviewed it after our first trip to Eugene... that was a quiet weekday afternoon.. place is just as good during a crazy busy Sunday brunch... attentive service... great food (and Bloody Marys).
Food was very good and creatively integrates French concepts in its atmosphere and culinary style
while infusing a nod to its Pacific Northwest roots. Will return with more friends to enjoy!
Dinner was fantastic and the service was also very good in the dining area!
Ramiro provided impeccable service! He was extremely kind and efficient. The food was also excellent and served nice and hot. We will definitely try to go back on a day when Ramiro is there.
A must when visiting Eugene
Marche is the finest restaurant in town! So accommodating and friendly and delicious food!
A hit and miss meal. Some wonderful bites and tastes, and some ambitious preparations not quite brought off. Fresh and seasonal.
We have visited Marche many times on our trips to Eugene. There has been a changeover in Marche's menu since our last visit- simplified preparations, fewer main choices. What we had was very good, served with fresh and creative sides. Outside on one of the last of the 'for sure' sunny and warm Oregon days and it was very nice. Server was a little informal but knew his menu, wine ideas, and served well.
Great food. Perfect staff. Exceptional wine lit!!! Will stop here every time I pass through Eugene. A lovely experience.
The pork chops only tasted of smoke, couldn't taste the meat. The zucchini and greens were bitter. Service was slow, apparently due to a big party in the back. Food took forever to get to us. Almost an hour wait between appetizers and main dish.
I usually love Marche for special occasions. It was my brother-in-law's birthday and I indicated that on the Open Table form. In the past, this has meant a candle and, sometimes, a free dessert....nothing, except that the peach gallette dessert was very dry and not at all peachy. We had to wait an unreasonable amount of time for our food, close to 45 minutes. My brother-in-law ordered his steak rare and it came almost well done. We didn't try to send it back because we had already waited so long. I love the fried Willapa Oysters because they are little and delish. These were huge and I couldn't finish them. Altogether a huge, expensive disappointment.
I’m still looking for Oregon restaurants that compare to Northern California. Marche isn’t one
We enjoyed a delightful dining experience. The food was so fresh and flavorful. The oysters were wonderful!
Absolutely delicious and a wonderful dining experience every time I come in. Whether it be a business lunch, meeting friends on the patio, or having a romantic dinner - Marche hits all marks every time!
Wonderful lunch. Food was great. Service was perfect. We’ll be back again soon
Great venue and amazing food! Marche' was celebrating it's 21st birthday, so we were pleasantly surprised with complimentary champagne and a special menu. The food is impeccable and portions are very sensible. Just what I'm looking for in my dining experience!
Aaron, our wait staff, was excellent! We very much enjoyed eating on the patio.
Everytime my in-laws visit (1-2 times a year) we make a reservation at Marche, and have yet to be disappointed! The menu is always evolving, and the service is great.
This time around was a bit more noisy than usual, but was due to Marche celebrating their 21st anniversary! Congratulations Marche, and we look forward to many more trips.
Hands down, the best restaurant in Eugene. If you're not familiar with Eugene, that's a pretty bold statement!
I brought my best girlfriend here on our first date, have been back more times than I can count and never been disappointed. We just celebrated our 60th (month) anniversary here, 5 years of marriage, and it's better than ever. The restaurant, and our marriage!
Great food and service. Menu changes with seasons so new options are available.
Excellent. Food design and presentation.
Was a slight bit too salty.
The smoked hazelnuts did not taste smoked and were covered with oil (not mentioned on menu)--they were taken off our bill; the cornmeal fried willapa bay oysters were quite good; the flatbread sandwich (felafel, eggplant +) was interesting; the margherita pizzette was reliable; the environment was, as always, most pleasant and the waiter was attentive. The menu has moved to more of a meat focus and overall somewhat less interesting, but Marche remains among the best restaurants in town
Service was great, and so was dessert. We were happy with one of the breakfasts, but not so much with the buckwheat pancake, which was rather dry and heavy.
The service was excellent as well as our meals. A lovely experience.
We came in to celebrate a birthday with family. Each person ordered a different entree and everyone was happy with their meal. The pork was amazing, steak frites from the bar menu impeccable, the squid ink linguine delicious and we all walked away with full bellies and happy hearts.
One of my favorite places to dine! The service and food quality never disappoint. I’m looking forward to my next visit to Marche.....from wine to dessert, everything was wonderful!
Menu is starting to feel a bit stale. Hard to describe but the past several visits I’ve struggled to find something that looks good.
