Post Civil War game dinner. Started with some pork belly and chanterelle pizza with fresh shaved truffles. Both yum. We had 3 entry. Tenderloin. Pork Chop and Duck Duo. All 3 were great. Two sides. Carrots and Flies. Both satisfied. Will be back.
Excellent food and great service. Very nice atmosphere. We have been to this restaurant several times over the past many years.
Fantastic Server, he made the evening perfect!
It was a busy night and lots happening in the market area, restaurant was busy, and everything was still great.
We had a lateish birthday dinner on a quiet Tuesday evening, yet everything was suitably low key festive. Mikael was, as always, a personable and attentive, as well as knowledgeable server. Everyone in the party was pleased with their meals and the drinks and dessert.
Wyatt was the best server I have had at a restaurant in many years. Attentive, thoughtful, honest and charming.
It was a very busy Sunday at Marché. The servers seemed rushed, the kitchen was slammed, and the restaurant was loud.
Marche is one of eugene’s best spots. Consistent and creative kitchen and informed efficient servers.
always a pleasure. Eugene’s French restaurant...
Favorite restaurant in my town. It serves superb food and the wait staff is very knowledgeable and professional.
Best breakfast in Eugene! What a luxury to have Marche quality in the morning!
Our reservation was very last minute, but when we mentioned it was our anniversary our hostess really made an effort to find us a booth seating arrangement so we could sit side by side and away from the front door. Much more romantic! Our service was great, very knowledgeable and the pace of the meal was very relaxing. We had the beef filet and pork chops for dinner - both were outstanding. Would definitely come back and highly recommend for a special night out. Thanks for helping to make our anniversary special.
Great all the way around. Food was delicious and our server was very professional. Only negative was a very noisy table of 7 right next to us. But that’s not the fault of the restaurant.
Party of 5 had a delicious breakfast. Very tasty and good value. All 5 of us really enjoyed our food.
Marche is a place my wife and I savor every time. It’s quiet and we can catch up and talk without raising our voices. Joesph was our server and he is so knowledgeable about wine! He recommended an excellent Cab that was perfect for us. My wife had the tenderloin and I had the lamb. Food was hot, beautifully plated and delicious. Can’t wait to go back!
Great food, excellent service. Was a bit noisy and service was a bit slow but we were sitting next to a 20 top or so who all decided separate checks was the way to go instead of divvying it up amongst themselves. 10 separate checks, cant really fault the waitstaff for people having no etiquette in a group of that size ( etiquette being a single check and figure it out amongst friends in that situation).
Great place. had a great mini-vacation for the weekend, staying next door at the Inn at the 5th and having a great dinner here with friends.
Food was slow to be delivered. Other than that the service was fine.
The Duck Duo was exquisite! The new Early Fall menu Rocky and crew have created is amazing. We will be back so we can sample more of it.
I take my two grandsons here every time I come through town on my way to SF. They both go to the university. We've never had a bad meal until this time. I guess we always are there for brunch because this was midweek and was just breakfast. Very few choices and no french toast which they always like. One of my grandsons ordered the buckwheat crepe and ate almost none of it. It looked pretty unappetizing. Next time, unless we come for brunch - or lunch or dinner which are always good - we will find another place to have breakfast.
Over the last week end we enjoyed three meals at Marche'. The only real complaint that we had was that the noise level made communication with our older ears a bit difficult but that was easily explained by the fact that they're packed with enthusiastic patrons. High quality food stuffs were elegantly and simply prepared and served by wait staff that were friendly but always respectful of their boundaries. While certainly not the cheapest place we have ever eaten, finding some place at this level elsewhere at this price would be near impossible.
Fantastic food, great service
Considerable dexterity in composing unique combinations. I had the lamb triad and was overjoyed at the interactions, especially with background vegetables. The cauliflower side dish also had a masterful spice.
If I lived in Eugene, I'd eat dinner here every night!
We had brunch here yesterday and as always it was absolutely wonderful. Our nephew and his girlfriend, visiting from L.A., were with us and they, too, absolutely loved it. Everything that we ordered was phenomenal and on point. The staff, most specifically our server, were amazing and incredibly attentive. We can’t say enough about your incredible restaurant. It is, without a doubt, one of absolute favorite places here in town.
We had an even better than normal romantic dinner at Marche last Friday night. We ordered an array of starters, tapas-style, a bottle of wine and settled in for a couple of hours, dreaming we were back in Paris for the evening. The food was right on point, the service top-notch, the ambiance just right for the moment.
Marché is a fantastic restaurant! The food is always amazing! The service is impeccable and the atmosphere is fantastic!!!! We love to sit at the Chefs table and watch the chefs cook! It’s so much fun!!! Love this place!!!!
Always a pleasure to dine and be cared for at Marche’. A true gem in Eugene .
We always go to Marche when we come to Eugene for the weekend. Love this place!
Always great food always great service! -we go there often, it’s our favorite restaurant!
Went to celebrate a friend's birthday. Lovely as always!
We truly enjoyed our first meal at Marche. We started off with oysters, they were very fresh and good. I had the melon and tomato salad, which was very flavorful. I had the steak for dinner and it was cooked perfectly with tomatoes and blue cheese topping it. The service was very good too.
Reviewed it after our first trip to Eugene... that was a quiet weekday afternoon.. place is just as good during a crazy busy Sunday brunch... attentive service... great food (and Bloody Marys).
Food was very good and creatively integrates French concepts in its atmosphere and culinary style
while infusing a nod to its Pacific Northwest roots. Will return with more friends to enjoy!
Dinner was fantastic and the service was also very good in the dining area!
Ramiro provided impeccable service! He was extremely kind and efficient. The food was also excellent and served nice and hot. We will definitely try to go back on a day when Ramiro is there.
A must when visiting Eugene
Marche is the finest restaurant in town! So accommodating and friendly and delicious food!
A hit and miss meal. Some wonderful bites and tastes, and some ambitious preparations not quite brought off. Fresh and seasonal.
We have visited Marche many times on our trips to Eugene. There has been a changeover in Marche's menu since our last visit- simplified preparations, fewer main choices. What we had was very good, served with fresh and creative sides. Outside on one of the last of the 'for sure' sunny and warm Oregon days and it was very nice. Server was a little informal but knew his menu, wine ideas, and served well.
Great food. Perfect staff. Exceptional wine lit!!! Will stop here every time I pass through Eugene. A lovely experience.
