Marche is always a great choice. We had a wonderful waiter, great food, and drinks. Having a reservation was easy as well.
Very sweet staff , great wines. Highly recommend for reservation!
I went on Friday 2/21 around 5:30pm. The place was lightly populated at that time. First, let's talk parking. There is good parking available. The lot is on the South side and as free for patrons. Around that there are metered spaces that are free starting at 6pm. The place is easy to access. The decor is quite impressive and really good for dates. In other words, a nice ambiance. The staff service is fantastic. All the staff did really darn well. There are 3 seating areas: booth, table, and counter. I picked a table and the seats were comfortable. The tables are nicely spaced out and of comfortable height. The wine selection is impressive. Not for its size, but definitely for its quality. (More on the drinks later.) The menu is a decent selection. I picked the Ling Cod. It came in good time. This was a strange meal. You don't typically see Ling Cod in a red sauce with capers and potatoes. But it was very good. The sauce overpowers the cod for sure. It's a strange choice of proteins for the sauce. It's unusual and wonderful. Now... back to those drinks. They really skimp on the booze. I ordered 2 margaritas and they were $23 each. So they were overpriced AND under powered. The total bill for me was $80.
The place is nice. But all in all, I won't be back.
The place is wheelchair accessible. Leave the kids with a sitter. They won't appreciate it. GF and vegan dishes are available. But the aroma of beef is present. (Many vegans don't like that.)
we always enjoy going ther.for us it is always a special place. The food is exceptional,as it has been for many years
We love Marche and find any excuse to eat there. We love “Le Bar” for more casual dining, the restaurant for special dinners and weekend brunch. The staff is so professional and friendly and not only have we never had a bad meal there, we’ve always been delighted. I love the style of the restaurant, it feels like I’ve stepped into Paris. Just love this place.
Marche is definitely one of the best fine dining experiences I’ve had in Eugene! If you haven’t been, it’s worth saving the money to go!
Spent our 15th anniversary/Valentines dinner here. It's becoming a yearly thing lately. Another amazing dinner. Blood orange margaritas were so good. Our waiters service was perfect. I forgot to ask for a booth but they had one waiting for us. Thank you for another wonderful evening.
We celebrated Valentines Day at Marche ..... the food was excellent and the service (Aaron) was exceptional.
We look forward to dining at Marche again the next time we are in Eugene.
Always a wonderful meal with a great staff.
Great food and great service. I had the tenderloin and the name was correct. cooked perfectly and could have cut it with the fork. Delicious!
Marche is up to its very high standard with new dishes for the winter. The cabbage around boudin blanc with black truffles and celery root purée appetizer was fantastic. It probably cannot be on the menu very long, just during the winter Oregon truffle season. The squash with cumin soup and the pear salad with candied walnut were also wonderful. The gnocchis with crab and brandy sauce was rich, unctuous and delicious. Stuffed, we took the dessert home to eat the next day. This preview of the St Valentines Day cheesecake garnished with citrus and lemon curd was fabulous with our light dinner at home the next day. Go! Eat! There will be a new seasonal menu soon.
It's one of our favorite go to restaurants in Eugene. The quality is beyond excellent. Service outstanding, and always feel welcome when dining at Marche.
Great lunch! The cauliflower curry soup was incredible. They consistently have good soups, but this was exceptional. Also loved the beet salad and pizetta!
Room was uncomfortably warm
Great food, great setting, great start to our night. We read the owner/chefs bio and what an amazing woman!
Nice atmosphere and great service. Our waiter was very good at his profession.
Wonderful brunch ... attentive but not pushy service... 2nd visit ... we are from out of town...
we will be back again
Food was very good and was served hot. Some barista training needed for making coffee drinks. Otherwise, all was good.
lovely as always!! We've never had a poor experience at Marche!
I reserved a table at Marche for a family reunion of sorts. Just five of us, who see each other only a couple of times a year. We came early and stayed late. We enjoyed three delicious courses, cocktails, wine, coffee and never looked up from our lovely experience! Best meal out in years.
This is our favorite restaurant in Eugene, always consistent and excellent menu
Excellent food prepared and delivered quickly accompanied by attentive service.
As usual, Marche food and service were first-rate. We like that the menu changes periodically so you have new items to try. After 14 years as customers, we continue to highly recommend the food and the service at Marche. Frank in Eugene, OR
My wife, Suzy Morgan, and I met at Marche on a blind date on January 5, 2005. We have been together ever since and we have had dinner at Marche every January 5 since that fist fateful meeting 15 years ago. This most recent evening was even more special because our waiter this past Sunday, Bill Hulings, was our waiter that first evening in 2005. As always the food was through-the-roof delicious, the service was stupendous and the atmosphere was totally cool. We'll be back next year!
Our visit this time was not what we expected. We sat at the chefs counter and had absolutely no interaction from any of the chefs or staff doing the cooking, which we were disappointed about. We enjoy watching them cook, however it was mainly about cleanup and yet they were going to be open for another 3-hours. The food was tasty but they mixed up our order. My wife ordered trout and then the waiter brought cod and tried to blame my wife instead of just admitting his error. Our experiences was definitely not what we have come to expect over the last 15 years dining at Marche. We will probably be back someday but it’s going to be a while.
This was our first time coming to Marche and it won't be our last. We had a great experience. Joseph was our waiter and took excellent care of us. We found him very knowledgeable re: wines, pairings, and all other aspects of the menu. The ambiance was pleasant and relatively quiet. The food was wonderful. From main course to appetizer, then dessert, we were not disappointed. We will make this our go to restaurant when we have guests and for special occasions. Or just because we want a night out. Thanks again for great evening!
the pickle plate was terrible, The smoked pork chop was undercooked and extremely salty. Service was great but I wouldn’t go back.
Best place to eat in Eugene. Well-run and reliable. They are sensitive to stated dietary needs; e.g., reduced salt.
Great New Years dinner!
Great food drink and service as always.
Always excellent service, always superior food and always an excellent dining experience
Two of us had the Farm Breakfast, one had the Boudin. Every element was absolutely perfect, delicious, beautifully presented, in this always lovely setting. Service was excellent.
Server Cody was very knowlable about wines and mixed drinks. I enjoyed his input. Menu items shown on line were much larger than those actually served. This is deceptive. Two of us of eight had the lamb duo and were not thrilled by it's small portions compared to what is shown on line. Private reserved room for our family Christmas time together was great.
Excellent oysters! Gnocchis with crab were like eating little pillows. Will be back soon!
It’s was great all around
Outstanding food. Knowledgeable staff. Terrific and talented chefs. Love it there.
The calzone is brilliant!
Great restaurant, upscale, cozy, casual, great food, great service. Eaten here many times, always count on their consistency. Nice downtown location, plenty of free parking.
We eat at Marche perhaps 2x a month. The food is excellent with seasonal changes that keep the choices different and lively! Service is first-rate with staff who remember who we are and generally what our preferences are. We always try to sit at the window so there is a nice feeling of openness being able to look out at the area.
Fabulous late fall menu perfectly executed as usual.
