Marche Bacchus food and service are outstanding! Whether you are going out for a date night or
are searching for a great bottle of wine to compliment your meal this restaurant should
be one of your staples.
Wonderf as always. Lovely entertainment superb service
A great place. Had a great lunch with some friends who have never been there. They loved it as well
We love this place. It’s on the water (in the desert no less!), service is friendly and nice, food is excellent and huge selection of wine. You can go wrong coming to MB.
Excellent food, friendly professional service, loevly setting. And the wine program provides excellent opportunity to choose a dinner wine from the shop at only $10 above retail. A gem.
Even though I specified that it was a special occasion, I didn’t feel like that mattered at all. My salad was really small for a main dish but I did enjoy the French onion soup. I’m not sure what happened but I also had stomach cramps after leaving though I only had the soup and a salad.
We were seated and it took 15 min to get acknowledged. Food took over an hour to get. The server knew the cook was taking forever and apologized. The restaurant has been cooking for over 12 years and still can’t get the Sunday brunch on time. First time here and last time here. Don’t waste your time. Been in Vegas and in the service industry in management for over 20 years and I know this is unacceptable. Can’t believe people eat here.
Our 45th Anniversary dinner at Marche Bacchus was extremely disappointing. The food, as always, was very good. The table service was inattentive and not up to the standards of a fine-dining restaurant. We had to get the waiter's attention and ask for everything, including salt and pepper. At the conclusion of our meal, as we were leaving, I asked to speak to the manager about the service we received. It turned out that the manager was our waiter! When I told him I was disappointed in the service he offered, he told us we were "horrible guests the entire evening". I responded that we would not be returning and he said, "I hope you never come back!"
So if you want good, expensive food, sub-par service, and insults for dessert, Marche Bacchus is for you.
We will never go back.
The ambiance is wonderful. Had the absolute worst service ever!
Great food and atmosphere. Great wine at reasonable prices. Nice not to have to go to the "Strip" for fine dining and excellent value.
I arrived late lunch, 2:30. It was a birthday but waitress wasn’t informed. One server for too many tables. Ordered salad with grilled salmon. Requested undercooked salmon. Salmon was cooked they and dry. My friend ordered crepes with a side salad. It was all put on one plate instead of the warm crepes on a separate plate. Reminded server of my friends birthday so she brought out a dessert for my friend and the check. Server did not ask me is I would like a dessert or coffee/tea. Very disappointed.
Great service an food as always!!
Marche Bacchus has the best dining ambiance in town. Winter, Spring, Summer or Fall, sitting on the heated lakeside dining space, listening to the live music, and; sipping the very best of wines cannot be beat. Thoroughly enjoyed our dining experience this past weekend. Fun with friends. A special shout out to the chef and his special pasta with truffles made for our table. YUM! And to the violinist whose music made it easy for us to sit and sip and eventually become the last patrons.
As usual, excellent food, service, and venue! Not sure how they keep up the quality over the MANY years but they do.
Food, wine and service was excellent. We will certainly return .
Need to clean the fans...loaded with dust. Great waiter. Friends sandwich came without avacado and my croissant was dry....day old? Out of the dessert we wanted. Was celebrating a Birthday, did nothing special to acknowledge.
Wonderful French restaurant experience! The Staff was attentive, beautiful restaurant, excellent champagne! We very much echo yes our French Onion Soup, Goat Cheese Napoleon appetizer, Eggplant entree and Frittata :)
Service was very friendly and efficient and the food was very good. They’re running a lunch special, 2 courses plus glass of wine/beer/champagne for $23. Can’t beat that. It was a perfect lunch date.
This restaurant is exceptional. The food is outstanding, the ambiance is unparalleled, and prices are way-better than the Strip. The wine market is a great concert.
Love the outdoors seating
I could not have been more impressed with Marché Bacchus. The food was delicious and the service was great. My family and I were celebrating our moms birthday. French cuisine is her favorite and she absolutely loved this place. Her and my family plan to visit again soon from California and wish to return to Marché Bacchus. Thanks for a great experience!
We are foodies, who love to splurge on a very nice meal and/or exceptional food experiences while on vacation. Marche Bacchus exceeded our expectations. Atmosphere was amazing, wine selection unparalleled and the food was beyond reproach. The restaurant was way off the strip and worth the 25 minute Uber ride there and back. I highly recommend this Marche Bacchus to anyone considering it. You will not be disappointed.
Celebrated our anniversary. What a wonderful night. The food was delicious. The service was exceptional
Lunch on the patio was very pleasant. The specials menu offered a wide selection at a great price. Though it was hard to believe that we had to ask for bread for our escargot in a French restaurant!
We went to Marche Bacchus for dinner with some friends to celebrate my birthday. Everything was spectacular! We sat on the patio and had a view of the lake which was beautiful. The service and food was great! I couldn’t have asked for a better dinner experience for my birthday. 🤗
A must place to go.. food, ambience and service... excellent..
Such a beautiful location, food is excellent, service outstanding!!
We dined here for our 18th anniversary and this was mentioned when I booked it on open table. However no mention of our anniversary was made at any time during our visit/dining experience. My husband's salmon was lacking in both taste and size. Disappointing and overpriced. My steak frites was delicious, however; and our server Amelia was top notch!
Lovely service and dinner was exquisite! Nicole was magnificent! We will make this a special place for us and friends! Thank you!
Very relaxing. Great service.
This place has a great ambiance. The food can be a bit hit or miss, depending on what you order, but overall a nice menu. The service is consistently just okay.
We’ve enjoyed this restaurant many times in the past and especially like to go there on special occasions. Unfortunately, this visit was very disappointing from the moment we entered. We stood for several minutes waiting to be greeted. Although various staff walked past us, no one acknowledged us in any way; not even a hello. When I made the reservation, I requested a table outside and by the water. Although we were given a table outside, we were seated by the interior wall. I also specified that we were celebrating a birthday. We don’t expect anything for free, but if you are going to ask about special occasions as part of the reservation process, one would expect that the occasion would be acknowledged as part of the dining experience. It was not. In taking our order, it became very clear that the server was not all that familiar with the menu. For example, she didn’t know that sautéed vegetables were listed as a side on the menu. The Panzanella salad was tasteless, and vegetables over cooked. The King salmon, short ribs and creme’ brûlée, however, were very good. Our visit ended by observing one of the wait staff smoking outside the front door of the restaurant. It would be nice that if the restaurant allows smoke breaks, an area away from public view is offered. I’m sure we will be back, but we won’t be in a hurry to do so.
beautiful evening and great venue, highly recomended
Great place off the beaten path in Desert Shores right off the lake. Love the ambience, especially on the outside patio. Food is always good. Service is outstanding. My water and wine glasses were never empty. I would recommend this place for a romantic date. Great selection of wines too!
It took a long time to get our food, but it was good when it got there. Our waitress kept us in water and bread while we waited. She looked unhappy with us, perhaps because she did not like our very political discussion, but she did still check back to see what we might need. They have glassed in the patio, the lake is lovely, and the temperature was comfortable.
Excellent service, very friendly staff great food. Overall had a great experience.
There was a glitch with their computer so they couldn’t process our orders. We (8) waited a long time. It was brunch. None of us ate breakfast including an 8 yr old. We asked for some bread. They gave 6 breadsticks although 8 of us. We were celebrating 2 new retirees. No attempts for service recovery except for “ I’m sorry “.
Had a great time. The waiter was prompt and friendly. The food was delicious. The ambiance on the patio on a 75 degree night with some live guitar music playing at just the right volume level was a perfect evening. Thanks!
I have been going to Marche Bacchus for at least a decade. However, I have not been there since the remodel after the unfortunate accident that caused damage to their storefront. Because we used to LOVE this place, we chose to visit for my birthday last Thursday night on my actual birthday. When we made the reservation, we noted in the reservation that we were celebrating. When we arrived for our reservation, our table was not ready so we had to wait at the bar. We were then shown to a table for 2 lakeside, which is what I had requested based on the MANY prior visits here. But the table was completely in the dark - not even café lights or a candle on the table. I asked if perhaps we could get a candle for the table to be rudely told "no, we don't have any." I'm all for dark, moody lighting - particularly outside, but we could not see our menus (had to use the trusty phone flashlight), the food or each other. Very disappointing as it would merely take a couple of strings of lights to add some ambiance - AND LIGHT! Even a flameless candle would have improved the situation. Although we were celebrating, not a single person acknowledged the occasion at any time. And besides the french onion soup (which was adequate), the food was terrible. My pasta was cold and hard and my SO's eggplant terrine bland, tasteless and mushy. I honestly can't believe this is the same place that I used to frequent monthly. Very sad to see this place go downhill. It was such a gem for us locals. We will not be back.
Lunch was wonderful!
