Very few holiday decorations was a disappointment! Food was ok and very small serving size, although lots of pasta despite being a large plate selection!
Always a superb experience. The food is exceptional. Chef Marcello usually pops into the dining room, where we get a chance to say hello to him.
Cozy, welcoming, perfect menu for all.
Great food, great staff, excellent service! Had dinner there three times in just over a week! Only thing that would be nice is having tablecloths on the table. For the price you pay for dinner, in this type of upscale restaurant, a white table cloth would be an added lovely touch! I was there several years ago, and tablecloths were part of the ambience.
The food and service are always wonderful at Marcello’s. My friend and I were very excited to have the pork chop served with farro… been thinking about this dish and the super Tuscan since the last time we ate here. Lloyd is the perfect captain! And we were treated wonderful live music!
We had such a great dinner and the drinks were also fabulous! The bartender and all the staff was super friendly. Will be back again soon!!
Food was delicious as always - we enjoyed Caesar salad and clams for starters and the homemade gnocchi and swordfish special for our dinner. We were so full we couldn't partake in any dessert!
Dined outdoors on Sunday night with 6 others. Had the $35 price fixe menu (to celebrate its 35th anniversary) and everything was so good. Definitely will do again.
Great place. Love the pasta and service is awesome.
Went for the summer special. Delicious!
First visit to Marcello’s and was pleasantly surprised. We dined indoors due to the heat. Restaurant was more casual then I expected, but comfortable. I chose the 50 Year $35 special and my friends ordered from the main menu. We were all satisfied with our choices and the service and attention by the staff was exceptional!! A very nice evening out with friends.
The service and food were amazing!
I have Gnocchi on the 29th of each month, wherever I am. Now in Suffer NY. This is the best pasta I have in years. Great restaurant!!!!
This is a Local Gem. Very consistent, and always good.
Excellent service and good food. We went to celebrate a birthday and had a lovely time. Marcelo was so kind and friendly. He gave us a tour of his cooking class studio and explained the variety of imported products that he offers.
It was our ninth anniversary. Best i can recall, we had out first at Marcello's too. As far as only four stars on ambience, I needed my flashlight to read the menu. That's probably because of my loss of sight not really the ambience. I am 83 yeas old .Exceptional.
Marcello's menu is one that can never be beat! He made our special night even more special with his outstanding, attentive staff and amazing specials!
We've been going to Marcello's for many years and it is always a fabulous experience. It's not just the food, which is tremendous, but also the atmosphere. Marcello, Lloyd and the wait staff treat you like family, making sure you are well taken care of without being intrusive. Back to the food...fried cauliflower and burrata appetizers; Rigatoni bolognese and flat pasta with beef and veal ragu; and tartufo and gelati for dessert. Everything so fresh and delicious! Can't wait for our next time to try many of the other delicacies on the menu.
We went to Marcello's during restaurant week. Three course meal for $25.00. It was an incredible value. The food was terrific. We had such a great time, we brought the whole family later in the week. Marcello's will be the place to go to celebrate special occasions or just for a date night.
It was our first time dining at Marcello's, and we actually came there because we saw an advertisement for Suffern Restaurant Week. We had a delicious meal and a wonderful dining experience. Definitely will be coming back again!
Amazing experience overall
Thank you thank you. Chef came out to check on us :)
High quality Italian food. Have eaten here for many years
We were very pleased with the food and service provided. It was not a special occasion, just an opportunity to eat out with family.
Nice italian restaurant on the main street. Staff very friendly and helpful. I asked have veal dish prepared different from menu and was told no problem. Nice dining experience
Food and service is always top notch. The only place we go to eat during the pandemic. Have been going for months. Completely safe. Perfect ambiance. Highly recommend them.
It was fabulous great food and wonderful service look forward to returning
Excellent meal, both myself and my wife enjoyed the whole experience. The violinist added to the ambiance. The owner, Marcello was very accommodating. The food was top notch. We will certainly be back soon.
Socially distanced tables, great food and a strolling violinist makes for a great evening out. Marcello's table side visits shows he really cares about his customers.
Marcello will make anything you want to eat he is amazing
Group of four , including myself . We loved it . The service was great. The waiter was on point with his recommendation.
Will definitely return .
I usually do not go for the specials at restaurants, but this time we decided to order two specials. One was the bronzino fish and the other was a pasta dish with veal and lamb. They were fantastic. We also had their special soup of the day which was very delicious. Marcello is very Hands-On, visiting every table. It was indeed a very special evening.
Marcello's is one of the best gourmet Italian restaurants in the Hudson Valley. Food is fabulous, staff is wonderful and Marcello is the epitome of what a business owner should be.
Fabulous 75th dinner for two. Very romantic and delicious food.
Octopus salad appetizer and shrimp entree were exceptional!
This restaurant never disappoints. I have had so many wonderful gatherings here over the years. Highly recommend!
This place should be on everyone’s list. The food is amazing and the service over the top. Luke is the gentleman in charge of the front of the house he is truly the best
Servers and chef were amazing. Great food and Covid safe setting. Bought a basket on the way out to gift to my Mom. Stellar experience!
Great meal, felt very safe there, excellent service, and we could have an enjoyable quiet conversation.
Food was delicious. Would highly recommend to anyone looking for a quiet restaurant with excellent family
Authentic Northern Italy cuisine. I had a crab salad that surprised the palate by being warm. The extra large rigatoni homemade pasta was tender and al dente!! Wait staff was very attentive and Marcello himself was present amongst the diners. A wonderful dining experience
