Marcella's Ratings and Reviews
Krista was our server and she was outstanding!!! Our group was 7 total and all service was personalized as to feel cared for. The atmosphere was energized, which could translate to being very loud however, our group felt it was a positive aspect of the experience we were looking for. from appetizers to entrée everything was quick and efficient. Food was creative and extremely good:) We liked the options you typically do not find in restaurants. Concept was great and we will definitely return and tell others.
First off the food has always been and was amazing. The service was great and our waitress gave me a great recommendation from the usual spaghetti and meatball I usually get. Heres the rub, I’m not one who looks for acknowledgement or special treatment but Opentable asks if its a special occasion and it was (First wedding anniversary) so I clicked on the box. We were put at a small table in the less spacious portion of the crowded restaurant and juggled plates and wine glasses for 45 mins while two walkins of two were both put next to us at their own tables for 4. Again not looking for special treatment but a little intimacy for a couple on their anniversary instead of having to move your chair every 7 minutes while the group of 4 sorority sisters rearrange themselves for the best lighting for their respective instagram accounts would have been much appreciated. Food was awesome, service was awesome. Just dont have the option to mark special occasion if the establishment isnt going to help make it special
We had 2 salads, a marguerita pizza and some eggplant ravioli, with no drinks and the bill was $48. We tipped $12.
$60 for dinner for 2 was expensive for us. So we will only recommend for special occasions
They did seat us in 15 mins after our reservation of 9:30
And we got our salads within 15 mins of being seated.
It was busy for a Saturday nights.
We were accommodated with a warm cozy booth
The food was 3.5/5
With these prices we consider this to be a Fancy Smancy restaurant.
But perfect for a date night, for someone special
Myself and a friend went for a light, late dinner. We each had the Caesar salad with white anchovies, the warm assorted olives, and shared the feature dinner of six cheese ravioli with lobster and shrimp in a tomato cream sauce. Our server was a young man named Mike. The overall experience was typical of a Cameron Mitchell restaurant. Excellent! On our way out we purchased two gift cards that each came with the $25 bonus, as we will be continuing to patronize Cameron Mitchell restaurants in the coming year!
First time there and unfortunately didn't make the top of my list. Our waiter was kind but we had to repeatedly ask for service. I get it was busy but I just expected a different experience. The best thing about it was the company we were with and maybe the veal meatball. Sorry to have to say this but it's the truth.
Always love visiting Marcellas. The food is outstanding and the atmosphere is even better. I especially love visiting during the cold Holiday months as the restaurant and High are all decorated. Adds to the whole experience. The place is usually crowded and our visit was no different. Arrived about 10 minutes early to our 8pm reservation and were seated by 8:03. I highly recommend Marcellas for a special get together (ours was a family birthday dinner) but reservations are a must!! Which is why I always use Open Table to book!
So glad we had our bachelorette night dinner at Marcellas. It was the perfect atmosphere and food. Loved that we could share different things family style and have our checks easily split. Our server did an amazing job. Would definitely recommend to others.
Started with the Calamari. The batter was very light which is always nice. The fried zucchini was a nice compliment as well. However, the plate was 50% calamari and 50% zucchini. That was very disappointing. It's a $14 appetizer - the most expensive on the menu. It was also exceptionally loud in the restaurant. Hard to carry on a conversation across the able. The right circumstance still worth checking out for yourself.
Great staff and great food! We were celebrating my niece's birthday and made reservations for 7, but 8 showed up and they were very accommodating.
Even with 8 at the table the staff was so great about clearing dishes we never felt crowded.
Jake, was excellent! And even took out picture.
Our kids received craft bags to keep them busy.
Marcella's food and service are always good but people are just packed in too tightly. The servers have difficulty getting around. I got bumped into at least 3 times and wound up with servers' butts a couple inches away from my face a few times. Can't blame the servers as they're just trying to move around and do their jobs, it's just the restaurant crams in too many tables.
