As always, the food is delicious. Generous portions. The only thing I can give a lower rating on was the noise level but with that being said, it was a Friday evening and I did make last minute reservations. Otherewise, we always enjoy it there!

Chicken Chesapeake - 2 pieces of chicken breast with lump crab and old bay seasoning. Absolutely delicious! Cajun blackened Tilapia with mango salsa. Also delicious! Great service & great food!
This place is great. The raw oysters are always fresh. Fish is always fresh. The wait staff is the best. Our server Amy was absolutely awesome. She was efficient and attentive and went over the menu in detail. She was patient with us as we were undecided and she helped guide us so that we had a most enjoyable dinner and exceptional experience. Kudos for Amy.

We celebrated my birthday and ended our delicious meal with Bread Pudding. The best ever pudding, I might add!
Always good food. A couple reoccurring issues of note. Wife likes Filet but med-well.... no blood. Usually comes out too rare (w/blood) and if it gets sent back (like this time) it comes back dried out.
Also disappointing that they have so many limitations on coupons. I went to use my birthday coupon only to find out it is not good on Friday and Saturday. I can understand for mass mailing offers and coupons, but for a once a year celebration you think they could allow 7 day a week redemption. Would also be nice to get a burger or sandwich offering for evening. My wife does not like seafood and is quite limited in choices (I know, it's a seafood restaurant, but still). On positives, I think they have excellent consistent seafood quality and some of the best wait staff.

AlwYs loved this place. Food and service always good. They did mess up my food order, however, the handled it very well. Fixed it immediately. They sent us home with free dessert, the redeemed themselves!!
The waitress was attentive. Our drinks were full and the appetizers and meal delivery was well timed. We had a table in the bar area and while there were other patrons around we did feel like we had our privacy. The lighting was perfect, the food / dessert selections were fantastic. We hope to come back soon!

We have visited Marblehead Chowder House before but had not been there in a while. The food was great- definitely met and exceeded our expectations. Our server did a wonderful job. She was friendly and outgoing.

But I asked since lunch and dinner menu was available. what was the difference for the 10 dollars extra for the dinner verses the lunch scallops and was told you get more scallops from the dinner menu so I ordered it. But my wife ordered the lunch and got the same number as I did. Meant to asked for 10 dollar reduction when bill came but since we were busy talking to friends we had not seen in a year, I forgot. Think this was a bit of rip off.
We took our grandson there for lunch because he had a day off from high school. This is his favorite place to eat lunch. His choice was the prime rib melt i(excellent )and the bread pudding is out of this world!
This menu has a lot of great choices for lunch , anything from seafood entrees, salads and burgers. Never disappointed here.

Marblehead is an excellent dining choice with many options, even for those who do not like seafood. The servers and bartenders are always pleasant and engaged.

Food was great and our server was really on top of his game. Excellent service. The noise came from the people at the next table where the man had to read everything on his phone in a louder than necessary volume. Plan to go back soon!
We've been here before over the years, but more so recently due to having our cars serviced across the street at Jeff's Automotive. It's the perfect excuse to have a drink and indulge in some tasty food. We've had steaks and seafood, appetizers and entrees and have never had anything but a great meal. Service is always prompt, from the hostess to the server to the kitchen. It's a larger place so when it's full it can be a bit noisy...but not intrusive to your party. Definitely recommend, plus it's a casual place so a last minute reservation if you're in the area is a good choice.

I love the prime rib. It's served on the bone and done just right. My mouth is watering while writing this. Some day I might try something else but this is my go to place when I'm hungry for beef.

We took his suggestion on one the specials for the day and enjoyed it. We do go to Marblehead quite often and have never had a problem with either the quality of the food or the service.

This was our second visit. We avoided the Grand Central Chowder and opted for the Manhattan clam chowder and Lobster Bisque soups. These were more flavorful and original. The main entree was the cod which we ordered baked and sauce on the side. Very nice and not overpowering in flavor. The luncheon crowd was busy enjoying their meal and, of course, Ryan our server was most helpful and steered us towards the menu favorites.
We love this seafood restaurant and its rewards card. We went to celebrate my birthday with their coupon and donated food and got even more discounts.
The chopped salad is the best around. Our server was very sweet. She has waited on us before and is very sweet and efficient.
The food is always amazing and very fresh and tastes delicious. This is our favorite restaurant in the area and recommend it to everyone. The staff is very professional and knowledgeable. The décor is very nice and the restaurant is very clean. Huge thumbs up!!!!
