Marble + Rye
In the heart of Downtown Buffalo, Marble + Rye is a short walk from Shea's Performing Arts Center, Irish Classical Theater, Hotel Lafayette, Embassy Suites, and many other Buffalo destinations. Whether you're in town for the evening on business, or enjoying a show in the Theater District Marble + Rye is the perfect spot for dinner and drinks.
Driving through Buffalo and have Marble + Rye a try. A bit loud and the place wasn’t even full. The BEST onion rings I have had since i was a kid! Pasta dishes were ho-hum; asparagus side dish was delicious!
Enjoyable from the moment we entered. Friendly professional staff! Attentive service!
Food was quite good; not run of the mill! Quite the taste treat!
Dinner before Dear Evan Hansen at Sheas.
We enjoyed the drinks, wine and beer options. The burgers were delicious, wish I would have ordered one.
The staff is so unfriendly, I didn’t see a smilie a laugh out of any of them to anybody. The portions are for kids very small and no frills really disappointing. After we waited over an hour for a burger and a side salad and hv an annoying waiter tossed my meal down and didn’t say a word. 65.00 w tip RIP Off.
We had an amazing experience at Marble and Rye! Service was outstanding our waitress Karen really took the time to answer all our questions on the menu. The food was delicious! We love trying new restaurants in BUFFALO! This made the top of the list! We will be back again soon!
2nd time eating here. I've had the burger special both times and it's been awesome. Our table also ordered two App's, friend chick peas (so so) and the pickled onion rings (really good). Here, I'd stick with the burger and you will not be disappointed.
It just keeps getting better and better.Never had a bad meal.Everything is delicious. No matter what my Wife&I have eaten has always been very good. Thanks
Love the colors cocktails, so creative! Burger was cooked perfectly! We will be back!
Great place! And drinks were awesome!
Our waiter Collin was personable and professional! We had a great night and can’t wait to come back!
Dinner before show, differant simple menu ,great cocktails mixed
The food was wonderful and fresh. And our server, Colin was one of the best servers we have ever had. Polite, efficient, answered ever question we had about the menu AND gave wonderful suggestions, and prompt service. SO impressed.
Great night! Excellent service great food!
Amazing as always
We came here for our first visit for dinner having been told by several people how good it was. We arrived a few minutes before our reservation at 5:00 and were told we could sit at the bar and have a drink until the kitchen opened at 5:00 but chose to sit at our table. Our server came over right away and walked us through the menu and speciality cocktails. We each ordered a cocktail and enjoyed them while we waited and then shared one of the specials as an appetizer - a boneless chicken leg stuffed with cheese - that was beautiful and tasted delicious. I went with the steak entree while my wife had the burger - both were very good. The restaurant filled up pretty quickly and was nearly full by the time we had dessert and clearly is popular. We will definitely give this another try now that we understand the menu better and how the restaurant opens up ahead of the kitchen.
Amazing food and service! Emily is a treasure!!! The M+R burger was outstanding with a cheesy, mustard-y topping and caramelized onions. Perfectly cooked! Great fries, also. We shared a stew with white beans, bradcrumbs and sausage ( sort of a cassoulet) that was delicious. The dessert was fabulous: They called it a Creamsicle Bar but it was like the best cheesecake EVER! I LOVE Marble + Rye!!
Cute! Food was super good and the ambience was perfect.
I can't not say enough about Marble + Rye. The food, drinks and incredible humans that work there are all A+
Drinks are always delicious here, and food lived up to our table’s expectation! Everything we ordered from pickled onion rings to burgers were full of flavor and we love the farm to table mentality of this place.
Food is of very high quality, with a somewhat limited, but eclectic menu. Nice mixture of small plates to share, such as a heaping mound of fries, or onion rings. We ordered a small plate, to share for three, and a salad to share. That seemed to be perfectly portioned to have before our entrees. There were a few specials to choose from, and a few pasta dishes, with the pastas made in house. I had a pasta dish, it was exceptional, and the portion was spot on, filled me up, although I had nothing to take home for later. Lots of choices for specialty crafted drinks, with many ingredients. I ordered one, and tasted the others at the table. They were very good, but a little pricey for me. All said, I would recommend Marble+Rye, it would be a great place to go before, or even after a show at Shea’s.
Picked onion rings are amazing!
Food was great...chick peas, onion rings, Caesar, simple, sugo, patatas. Creative menu, fantastic service, sleek decore. Forgot to order the fried rice...good excuse to get back!
Love the fact that the menu uses locally sources ingredients as much as possible. Don’t know we waited so long to come here and now we’ve gone twice in two weeks. Loved the service and the meals both times. So much flavor in all the entrees.
Perfect for adults that want to enjoy farm fresh food with amazing flavors. The alcohol they offer is top shelf and the staff knows their stuff. We will be back for the honey cake and a drink very soon...
Wonderful food, excellent service, fantastic cocktails, beer and wine selections and a welcoming atmosphere...what more could you ask for.
We had a great night at Marble and Rye. The waiter was knowledgable, pleasant and prompt. The food was interesting, in a great way. Overall, thumbs up.
Love the $15 Burger & Beer special on Wednesdays. This is a place where you can actually order a burger "rare" and that's the way it comes out! Bravo!
Excellent food and service. The home made Polish sausage was the best I've had.
Always something new and seasonal on the menu! Been there many times and it never gets “old”. Looking forward to my next visit.
Vegetarian Curry and Fred Rice with Scallops looked delicious but sadly were both very bland in flavor. Falafel Burger was very tasty.
It wasn't a bad experience, it was just okay. My wife had a good burger and my fish was so-so. I don't think we'll go back because we'll want to try other places. Like I said, it wasn't bad, but not good enough to yearn to go back.
Food is incredible. As always. And i love how creative the cocktails are. Marble and rye is always a solid choice
Writing this review after my second visit. The food, service, mixed drinks, and ambiance were perfect each visit. Went around 5pm each time, and the noise level was fine. Highly recommend the beef tartar, but every dish I’ve tried has been delicious. Highly recommend the Teenage Wedding cocktail for those who like a complex sour drink without fizz. I have recommended this restaurant to absolutely everyone and can’t wait to go back!
Love this spot! Great food and service. Don’t have a negative thing to say about the place!
Ambiance was superb. The food was very fresh. Our waitress was so sweet and informative. The drinks were delicious as well. Will definitely be back for dinner or just drinks again.
Excellent Service, Food was very good and the atmosphere is great. Always enjoy this restaurant
We went to the restaurant before seeing a show at Shea’s. Very good food and drinks.
The food is phenomenal and the service is good. You can easily get to many destinations from here.
5th (?) time here and they never disappoint. Service is attentive and friendly, cocktails are perfect and meals delicious. Always eager to return.
