Fabulous service, food, live music and ambiance.
lighting too bright a through back restaurant food was very good Paella spot on
Outstanding!!! My husband and I chose Marbella for our usual Friday date night. Nothing usual about Marbella! The freshly prepared gourmet sustenance, the friendly, helpful service and strict attention to every detail made our dining experience ultra special. We were warmly greeted by the captain, shown to a cozy comfortable seat and treated to one of the best date nights ever! Croquettas, chorizo, shrimp with garlic sauce were all scrumptious. For dinner my husband had paella with seafood and I had stuffed sole. Both were luscious (even the sides that came with the meal were distinctively tasteful).
We’ve been coming here for many, many years and it remains our favorite. The sangria is prepared tableside and to your sweetness level. Filled with fruit, it’s simply delicious! We love the chipirones appetizer grilled to perfection with garlic and tomato, providing a sauce that you must lop up with the amazing crusty bread served at the table. The paella Valenciana is our favorite entree and resembles the best of any paella I enjoyed during my time in Spain. A truly authentic Spanish restaurant with food that is consistently outstanding, servers who are friendly and professional, and an atmosphere that is warm and inviting.
Excellent night!! Please keep it up, just improved the sound for the show
The service was excellent, the food was very good.
Old school vibe.Service was excellent by a professional, seasoned staff. Great value for great food
Excellent restaurant and service!
Food and service was fantastic. Management ensured everyone was well satisfied. Sangria awesome!!!
Service was exceptional. Delicious food. Great ambiance. Very nice live arp music. I highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent birthday celebration! We have done this every year and the food remains amazing!
This is a special place to dine for my husband and I as well as with the rest of my family on special occasions. It is our favorite restaurant in Queens. The service is spectacular and they are always welcoming. The food is delicious and always a nice size serving. xoxo
Fantastic! Definitely recommended!
Had an early birthday celebration at one of my favorite restaurants. Service and food were impeccable. An added delight was the jazz duo playing live music during dinner. Despite a few larger groups of diners, the noise level was moderate to quiet. The Sangria and paella were delicious. To top off the evening, the server brought me a lovely slice of cake with a lighted candle as the musicians played and the diners sang "Happy Birthday!" What a memorable evening...
Exceptional as always!!!
Great food, superb service and amazing ambiance.
Always well worth it
It was wonderful.
Everything was absolutely perfect from the moment I arrived. The service was second to none. The food was on par with some of the finest restaurants in the world that I have been to.
The food was better than the service.
Very good Everything we ordered love the place I definitely will come back
Authentic Spanish cuisine is served by a staff that never fails to anticipate every need. The prices are reasonable for this type of quality! Additionally, we booked our reservation on a night when Maurice Sedacca was playing live guitar music, which elevated our spirits and added greatly to the the ambience.
We recommend the escargot appetizer, the salmon in green sauce and of course, any of the paella variations will exceed your expectations. (Try pairing that with a pitcher of sangria, prepared tableside!)
For a romantic dinner or a family gathering, there's nothing like Marbella Restaurant!
I was sadly disappointed with the menu choices for the Mother's Day dinner. I was assuming that since we were eating in the main dining room, that I would be able to order off the regular menu and that was not the case. What I wanted and wished for was not available and I had to settle. The waiter did accommodate me when I asked him to leave mussels out of my mariscada.
I have been going to this restaurant since I was a kid and it had some great memories for me, but taking my kids there, it was not what I hyped it up to be.
I hope it was because the menu was limited, but you're not even able to see a full menu online at all, so I probably will not return. So sad... 40 years of going somewhere and always being happy, one night too that away..
The live harp music was a nice touch, but the dining experience was pretty mediocre at best. The paella was a bit salty and not served in a pan as it traditionally is- instead in individual plates. The servers did their job and accommodated our requests when asked/ prompted, but weren’t too friendly or attentive. Overall, was pricey for what you get. Not sure if I’ll be returning.
To avoid the usual Mother's Day crowds, we went on Friday evening instead. There was a large group of people at a table by the wall, but they were very jovial and not at all annoying. The restaurant was very busy, but the waiters maintained their professional skills and courtesy. We had 2 kinds of paella and our son had the stuffed lobster. All were excellent choices, as were the artichokes vinaigrette appetizer and the key lime pie dessert. The best of all though was the (seemingly) endless pitcher of Sangria! A wonderful truly Spanish restaurant in northern Queens...
The food and service were outstanding.
As always we had a wonderful evening and the food was excellent
Management and staff were excellent
Go and enjoy a great meal
Delicious as always. Service was great.
My husband and I went to Marbella for the first time last night and like every review I had read, it did not disappoint. The food and service were top notch and the harpist added a lovely touch to our dining experience. Our water glasses were continuously refilled and The maitre d came over several times to check in with us. A bit pricey but well worth it especially for a special occasion.
The food was excellent. We both had osso buco and the escargot. I want to try the paella I saw it at someone’s table and it looked so good. The service was a little slow but that allowed us to stay just a bit longer.
Marbella is a great restaurant for Spanish food. The paella is outstanding. The service is wonderful and they let us take our time enjoying dinner. Always a great meal.
Juan and Servando have the best Spanish restaurant in NYC. Great ambiance, live music and delicious food and attentive service!
Very classy restaurant. Excellent service. The food was delicious. The sangria was heavenly.
As always, everything was perfect!
Always have a great meal at Marbellas, staff, service and food all excellent.
Wonderful experience from start to finish. They just reopened from being closed within NYC limits for COVID indoor dining regulations. They were very happy to be reopened and seeing customers back, while being extremely COVID cautious. We ordered the seafood paella- super delicious and filled with a ton of fresh seafood (clams, shrimp, scallops, lobster, mussels, etc) huge portion and cooked to perfection. It takes 20-30 minutes as it is cooked to order. They do a presentation at the table as they serve you and you can tell they take pride in what they are serving. Crapes for dessert ... another great experience as it was cooked at the table. Once a month they have a flamingo show with a price fixed dinner. Overall 2 thumbs up and look forward to returning. Highly recommend.
My husband and I always feel at home here and are greeted by name upon entry without us having to check in. The manager and entire staff are so pleasant and make us feel like family. :).
We absolutely love the food and the raspberry tart with raspberry drizzle is the BEST!!! The service is always professional and a pleasure to speak with. The atmosphere is lovely and the musician who plays the harp is so very talented and adds eloquence to an already elegant place to dine.
If you haven't already been here, it's a MUST to dine at with your significant other and/or family and friends. YOU'LL LOVE IT!
My husband and I have frequented this restaurant for decades. We love it! It never disappoints. Even thru the pandemic the staff has maintained great food, greater service and a welcoming atmosphere while following all the CDC recommended guidelines. We thank our lucky stars that it has been able to stay open and survive where so many other restaurants have not.
Great service that matched the food. Sangria is made to order. The Spanish coffee at the end was a perfect way to finish a meal.
The service was excellent and the food was excellent as in past dining
