Maple and Pine
Beautiful restaurant and decor. Enjoyed rooftop bar, was amazing views, service and ambiance.
The food was divine, the staff courteous and attentive, and the setting open and elegant. I can’t wait to go back
Breakfast was a simple buffet .... no better than a free motel .... for $30 each !!!
Nice ambience, good food and fun roof top bar. A unique experience in Richmond.
Awesome brunch experience celebrating my friends birthday! The decor is so fabulous and chic. The ambiance is amazing. Food was tasty and drinks are great. Valet was an added perk as well. Id highly recommend.
Food was all very good. Open space with hotel guests walking through is a little distracting. But overall a great place for dinner before the theater across the street.
Excellent food, attentive service, and fun atmosphere!
We had the restaurant week menu. We were not disappointed, great variety. The food was delicious; compliments to chef David. Only wish the bar had chocolate martinis. Overall experience was wonderful.
Maple and Pine never disappoints! It is our go to for date night. This visit was during restaurant week, so a limited menu, but was still delish! We both started with the warm pea salad... I had Atlantic cod with a lemon reduction... Omigosh. Both were even better than I had hoped. Desserts were amazing. Now that the weather is nice, the rooftop deck is open, perfect for pre or post dinner drinks! Only caution - keep the drink order simple on the roof. Save the specialty cocktail orders for the dining room.
My most favorite place in Richmond because the food is always divine. So many incredible flavors blended to perfection. The service is also outstanding. You MUST try it. It’s totally worth it.
The food was delicious and the offerings unique to Quirk, representative of their brand. Service was stellar, friendly and helpful servers who magically appeared whenever needed but never hovering or annoyingly in the way. It was very loud with conversation and people enjoying themselves but we could still hear each other and have our own easy conversation. Great wine options. Open and inviting setting. Great overall dining experience for two.
Always enjoy eating at Maple and Pine! Amazing food, service and ambiance!
Restaurant week is always a great time to try a new place and the menu offered a wonderful variety with something for everyone. MY selections were the best :-)
Great atmosphere. Dining experience was very enjoyable.
Right from the beginning our experience was wonderful as they brought to our table four different menus - regular, vegan, vegetarian and gluten free. While we have no vegans in our merry group of five, the vegetarian and gluten free menus were a delightful surprise to just have presented without a specific request (and I made no note of any dietary restrictions in among our dining guests).
If we could have given the service 10 stars we would have - our server was excellent with just the right amount of attentiveness. Having experienced Restaurant Week in several restaurants both in Richmond and in Charlottesville, this experience was one of the absolute best.
Fun restaurant. Great vibe. I would recommend Maple and Pine for a meal other than Easter Brunch.
Perfect Breakfast, fantastic wait staff and amazing presentation.
Great lunch with friends
Food was very good, but there are too many better options in Richmond for the price. Service was excellent. The dining room was delightful. I did get served perhaps the worst vodka martini I have ever had in my life. I regret that I did not return it after the first sip.
Highly overrated. Brought my son for his 30th birthday. The appetizer of Pork Belly was the best thing we had. The Schnitzel was dull and without much flavor, the Rockfish was fair but still lacked flavor. Hoping desert might be better, but the small portion that yet again lacking much flavor disappointed.
Just fabulous! From the amuse-bouche to the entrees, everything was well presented and amazingly delicious. The atmosphere is very inviting and beautiful as well. Terrific experience!
Nice setting, good food but a bit steep in price for what it is.
WE had an amazing night with a perfect small section that made the evening feel very intimate! Food was great as was the service. It was a night to remember!
The food and the service are of a very high quality. I highly recommend Maple and Pine.
So great! Staff and chef were super accommodating to our allergies and the decor and ambiance lived up to the hype. Lovely experience!
Disappointed. Felt like I was eating in lobby of restaurant (which we were). Noisy. Super slow service (but friendly). Some portions too small on tasting menu.
Impeccable service and delicious food. Came here before an event at Altria Theater and they got us out in perfect time (even got dessert and coffee). Definitely recommend. Would be a fun place to bring out of town guests.
Excellent service and great food
Excellent dining experience. Maybe 4 1/2 stars would be better. Could not quite give it five stars as tables close together and even though almost empty at 5:30 were seated close to another couple and could overhear there conversations. Everything else was delightful.
We had time before a concert and decided to try the Quirk! It was wonderful. We had the beef tenderloin - excellent. The only disappointment was, there was no soup available.
Our server was amazing!!!
Bar service was great!!
Excellent place for lunch with friends! Great atmosphere, attentive server, quiet and delicious food!
The service is terrific and the food is heavenly. Delicious flavors and unexpected treats. The restaurant is lovely, but its openness can make it a little loud. We ate at 7 on a Thursday and after a bit, the bar noise quieted down and the ambiance was lovely. Especially appreciated the amuse bouche we got as a special little treat.
Eelicious food, wonderful service, beautiful setting. Loved everything. When making a reservation, let them know if you're celebrating a special occasion. On Open Table, I wrote it was our anniversary, and we were greeted with two glasses of complimentary champagne.
I travel 85% of the year for missile defense contracting jobs w the DoD and look for gastropubs because my brother is the executive chef at his in Jackson, MS (Barrelhouse). This is one of the best ones I’ve come across; the service and atmosphere are definitely worth the value of the food (just make sure your dates worth it lol). My bill was $168 (w/o tip) and I got full and drunk, which I’d rate a overall A-. I would’ve bumped it up to A but my date, although beautiful, did not think the same of me. Lots of history. The hotel is supposed to have a rooftop bar during summer and JJ Grey and MOFRO killed it at the National after we left (it’s close walk and I was drunk). Thank you for your consideration. Recommended.

I had a FANTASTIC time. Our waiter, Antonio was nothing but amazing. The service was top notch as well as the food. Will got back for sure!
The chicken and waffles were fatty and not very good. Musicians were playing during our meal and it made it very difficult to converse with our large party.
Really excellent in every regard. One of the best in Richmond. Truly exceptional
We had a lovely time at Maple and Pine! The soup was divine, the oysters fresh and full of flavor, the dumplings delicious, and my wife's salad was perfect. As was our server, Tory. A perfect pre-theatre dining experience.
Service was slooooow and the food was creative but missed the mark a bit.
