Inattentive service. Had to seek out proactively wine pour twice.

Steak was done incorrectly. Ordered medium and came to the table as medium rare. One party waited for their recooked steak while the other party finished their meal. ☹️

Eric was a great server- wonderful personality and timed everything wonderfully. Never felt rushed. Kitchen knocked it out of the park! Food was outstanding per usual!

We were there for brunch. From the moment we walked in to the moment we left it was second to none!

In utter shock ... of how great the experience was. As Chicagoans, we expected nothing less! And overall we were glad to have chosen to come to Maple & Ash.

Because I was struck with shock — I honestly have little words. The experience was stellar and I can’t wait to come back soon! Perfect outings with family, a date night and a business dinner. Once I do come back — seafood tower is surely on my list!

Amazing! And S/O to our server Jamie who kept it solid with my sister and I the whole night as well as the staff overall!

There's a good reason why its difficult to get a weekend reservation at Maple and Ash. Its really one of if not the best restaurant in Chicago. Everything was excellent from appetizer through desert. We had a bone in filet and the 28 day dry aged rib eye and both were superb. Perfectly cooked. We had a couple of sides that were plenty to share. If you like coconut cream pie you will be very happy. Excellent. A bit pricey but certainly commensurate with the top Chicago steakhouses. I was there on business but it's a perfect place for special occasions or date night.

Some of the food was good. My steak and my wife’s steak were not good. Very disappointing for the price level of my steak that was $65.00. Service was very good.

The atmosphere, and service were impeccable!! The entire staff wished us Happy Anniversary . Printing our name on a menu was a nice touch. Portion were large and food was very good.

I Love the atmosphere, the food was amazing. I Love Kelly she was great. My only problem is the lobster we purchase was not put in the take out tray it must was discarded, and when I called the next day I was ask to leave a message and a manger will call me back still no call.

One of the best steaks I’ve had in a while! The ribeye was spectacular and cooked perfectly! They brought cheese, olives, radishes, bread and a cocktail before I even got the menu! My server was an absolute delight and kept things light and fun.

My girlfriend and I went to this restaurant for date night - we had previously looked over the menus, and liked what we saw. We were not as dressed up as most of the patrons - we figured a Monday would not be that lively, yet it was. Upon entry they sat and greeted us with a light martini, which was a nice sipper. For starters we had the foie gras - this was a cold, hard pressed 'pate' version, not the warm cooked one, which I prefer. This dish was underwhelming. The raw oysters were typical, very good, and the pricing for a dozen is attractive. We had the surf and turf, which was nice, the Maple and Ash wedge, which was rather tasty with the candied bacon, and a petit filet mignon. The steak was ordered medium-rare and came out medium+ rare-ish, though still very good, it was a bit too charcoal-ed for me on the outside. The lobster was delicious. Overall, the service was great, ranging from host to server, very attentive and informed. I'd go back to try other things, but would pass on the steak. This place is the kind that would be best described where 'dudes' would bring 'chicks' to impress them, though I did see couples and business folks there, too.
