Manzoni is a neighborhood gem that just gets better and better. The food is excellent. The atmosphere is friendly and lively.
Pasta linguini was barely warm. Pork ragout was chunks of pork that nearly needed to be cut with knife. Unsatisfactory, to say the most.
From the greeting of Buona Sera as we walked in, to the delicious affogato for dessert, the entire evening and meal was a pleasure. There were 4 of us and we ordered 2 Antipastos and 3 Primi Piattis. All were hot and delicious. The pastas were absolutely homemade exceptional.
It was small, intimate, low-key, with a casual staff and a genuine "Mom and Pop" feel.
I would go back in a heartbeat!
Our family of four had a great birthday celebration at Manzoni. We had 4 different pasta dishes, 3 main dishes, two salads, 4 desserts and a bottle of wine between us. The pasta dishes were excellent. We have a picture of the table after we finished the pasta showing four empty plates that have literally been wiped clean. The house-made pasta, the sauce, the portions size - all perfect. Same with the main dishes and desserts. Pacing and service was excellent. Although we started dinner at 8:30pm on a Tuesday evening we never felt rushed and the food came at well timed intervals. The interior of the restaurant is decorated and designed in a very original and creative way. I felt like I was in a castle in Italy. Highly recommend.
This restaurant was exceptional and delicious! A great cozy, neighborhood spot.
A Glen Park gem. We didn't know what to expect with our 1st visit to this hidden restaurant. The salad plate of corn and arugula, and Prosciutto, burrata and arugula appetizer started us with smiles. The main dishes of mussels/clams and veal scallopini were a great follow up. The affogato as a closer left us thinking when we'd return.
This is a quaint little restaurant with delicious food and a pleasant environment. The owners were keeping up with the crowd and delivered fine service. We would definitely go again!
What a fabulous neighborhood gem! Excellent food -- especially the Panna Cotta (exceptional, and I don't even like desserts!) -- knowledgeable, friendly staff, great vibe. We will definitely be back. Get a reservation, as this place is hopping.
Definitely like Manzoni, and have been there many times. My only criticism is that it is very loud - makes it difficult to have a normal conversation.
We had another delicious dinner at Manzoni, and the staff also was very friendly attentive, as they have been in the past. We had prosciutto, burrata, Orecchiette, a fettuccini, and tiramisu!
Wonderful attentive service. Great wine and delicious food in a cozy convivial atmosphere. Definitely will return.
Great neighborhood restaurant with terrific pasta; special chianti wine was not good
Because it was New Year's Eve, it was crowded. But, the food was excellent. And, the service, fantastic!
The food was fresh and delicious. Wonderful service too! Highly recommend!
Wonderful food, service, and ambience! I took two people who are very dear to be there and they had such a wonderful time. I can’t recommend it enough.
Everything was wonderful. We enjoyed the food and the server as well.
One of our go-to places. Charming, just the right size. Pastas are excellent, and I order the Involtino every time I go. So tasty. Thorough, well-selected wine list.
Always welcoming, European atmosphere" with delicious food!
We always enjoy our meals at Manzoni. They are very attentive and friendly for young children.
I always enjoy my experience at Manzoni's and often come here for special occasions. The food is delicious; they have a good wine menu and it is a very pleasant atmosphere with very gracious servers. I've eaten here several times and it has always been consistently good.
Beautiful restaurant, delicious home baked bread, luxurious service and delicious food. This is a great place to go for a special occasion or just a great meal.
Great food and great service. The salmon was cooked to perfection. The pasta (gnocchi and ravioli) were really excellent. It was pretty noisy given that it was only 1/2 full early on a Tuesday. Some sound absorption would be a huge benefit.
We have eaten at Manzoni many times. The food and service is consistently good. I’d highly recommend eating here. It’s a neighborhood gem and also a great destination dinning experience. Marina, our waitress is especially delightful.
Everything was fine, but nothing was outstanding. I am not a huge fan of Italian so consider that as well. I chose this restaurant based on location, ease of parking, etc. which were all great. But I would not think of returning “just for the food.”
It was perfect for a Friday night dinner. We had to wait for the chicken because it’s made to order. It was worth the wait. The ravioli was really tasty. I used the in-house made bread to eat up all the sauce.
Have liked this restaurant before but this time I stood in the doorway and no one helped me for a few minutes. Two servers were having an ongoing argument that was loud enough to be really uncomfortable for me and others. Their argument continued most of the night. It made for a tense experience. The food was okay and our server (not one of the two fighters) was fine. The restaurant was exceptionally noisy. I don't remember it being that bad but we had to shout to talk across a four-person table. Probably won't return unless I'm in the area and desperate.
I love this local gem. If you are looking for great food, excellent service, and a cozy environment you can't pass this place up. I will be back again!
Very good pasta and terrific service.
A little on the pricey side, but the food never disappoints and everyone is soooo nice!
Great neighborhood spot. Intimate dining room with authentic Italian cuisine. Staff was friendly, efficient and attentive. Would recommend for a low-key evening with good food. For me, the pasta dishes were a little expensive, though delicious.
Glad i finally started going to Manzoni's. Great food ,great staff will definitely go back.
So fresh and tasty. Excellent service. Polenta especially good.
Great gnocchi! The best I have ever had. Went with a group after work and enjoyed being able to relax with great food, wine and company.
Very genuinely Italian food, at reasonable prices. Pretty good service despite it being quite busy. Good ambience, but noise is inevitable with all tables busy and it's a relatively small space. Very cozy, friendly and real. Good selection of wines. Highly recommended.
This is my family's favorite neighborhood restaurant. We are regulars and after after our last visit said "we should come more often." It never disappoints.
I hadn’t been to Manzoni in several years, and was excited to get back to my old neighborhood to meet up with friends at Manzoni. It did not disappoint. Friendly, efficient service, cozy atmosphere and delicious Italian food. We started with a bottle of Sangiovese and burrata, followed by a couple of the pasta dishes. All were delish.
Simple, tasty and comfy. We recommend! 💜
I had the Beet salad and Veal Scallopini which were absolutely delicious!
Food is always excellent. The ravioli is homemade and melts in your mouth! The ambiance is upscale, yet still has the feel and friendliness of a neighborhood restaurant. A gem. One of my favorites!
This place is a gem in Glen Park. The staff is attentive and accommodating and the food is fresh and delicious!
Great food and service, great local spot. nice to have somewhere in the neighborhood we can walk to
