Manzo Ristorante - Eataly NYC Flatiron
Meaning "beef" in Italian, Manzo is a casual butcher’s restaurant set aside from our bustling marketplace. True to its name, Manzo celebrates all things meat. At the entrance, a glass-enclosed butcher room offers an inside look at the art of butchery. Steps away, the open dining room serves a simple but complete menu, which highlights the best weekly offerings from our regional producers in meat, vegetable, and pasta dishes. The expansive bar features an extensive vermouth program.

Bartender that helped us was amazing, great drinks! The pappardelle was great, bread and olive oil was tasty, and burrata with veggies was good. Cacio e pepe was overpriced for the simplicity of the dish. It needed a little more love for $25.
Terrible service and crowded, food overpriced although tasty.
My pregnant wife and I were moved after we order and got moved to a seat with less room. For a larger party. Obviously the manager was looking at it as who brings more money to the ticket. Best part is it through off the wait staff and forgot where we sat so our food was cold. Way to treat loyal customers that come to Eatly daily... never again
Excellent food. Fun counter seating. Great wine list. Only thing: overly salty. Omg. Felt it 24 hours later!
We visit Eately every time we are in NYC and typically have dinner at Manzo after appetizers at La Piazza. The food is always very good although they have narrowed their menu to focus on meat dishes. The pasta is outstanding!
Great place to dine. The service was super and we got really good help with our foodalergies.
Wonderful grilled meat. The aged Pork Chop was a masterpiece. Charming service. Verging on the pricey side but still a solid 4 stars plus overall. Very nicely corrected a billing error without the fuss that most make.
great waiter... funny and nice. food was good. very quiet.
The restaurant fest menu was a good deal. Delicious food and good wine for $25 a bottle!
Great atmosphere, unfortunately service was very slow. Great food, worth the wait.
We visited for the spring restaurant week...the appetizers (crisp and mozzarella) were on point, generously portioned, and delicious. The biggest disappointment was actually the main (we both had the steak) which came sliced, was rather small, included end pieces, and was overly chewy, even cooked medium rare. Overall experience was enjoyable, though, aided by the $25 bottle of sparkling rose :-) We also added on zeppoles for dessert, which were light and fluffy and a tasty way to end the meal. Next time I'd skip the main and 2x on the apps.
Took too long to serve us.mozarella was great, steak was lousy..dry and chewy.disappointing!
Great atmosphere and food. Our waiter was so nice and helpful. Loved eataly
Sat at counter. Felt like I was back in Europe. Food was great, fresh and the location of restaurant was perfect. Not as loud as some of the other areas in Eataly. Definitely recommend for a good meal. Super casual.
The staff was amazing. Our server was able to describe food items on the menu. He was attentive and made sure our experience was amazing. We had a great conversation with the manager when she came to check on our experience. An amazing experience and great meal.
The service was superb! I have no complains . The food and the portions are good because you’re not too full or not full it’s just right . The desserts and the cappuccino were awesome . I will come back soon !
Friendly staff could work on the ambiance.
Food always fresh and delicious. A four star only because I find the hot entrees delivered to the table warm, not hot.
Porca miseria! Hell would have to freeze over before I would return to Manzo or any other Eataly restaurant. I’m usually immune to the blandishments of such mass market enterprises but I fell for a promotion offering a two-course menu for $28 and $25-bottles of wine. As Manzo means beef we both went for the hangar steak that, while flavorful, was so tough it was hard to believe it was USDA prime. (Could they possibly have not known how to trim the gristle?) We had a decent salad as starters but yet more salad came with the steak. No, we couldn’t have potatoes, such being the nature of special menus. The wine was a better bargain but the food was the least of the problem: The place is a madhouse with tables cheek by jowl and noisy beyond belief. It’s hard to fault the waiters for the indifferent service as who could function in such bedlam! We couldn’t wait to get out of there.
P.S. There must have been a clump of unwashed greens in my salad as I spent much of the night running to the WC!
The hostess sat us with just the menu. When I finally got the servers attention I had to ask for the price fixed menu. He said “oh they are suppose to give you that when you are seated.” He said that to everyone who was seated after us. I wasn’t that impressed with the meal.
Great atmosphere. Fun place to take friends from out of town and quality of food is top notch.
Great for restaurant fest!
The food is the star here. Our server, Tiffany was very nice. However, there were definitely issues expediting our food. Our appetizers, which were the mozzarella & the beef crudo should not have taken that long to come out given that no cooking was involved. & we waited some time between being seated & when our server finally got to us to take our orders.
Food was very good!! Loved the ambiance!
Caccio e Peppe and Steak was AMAZING. Service was good too and it was packed. Definitely will be coming back.
Food was OK. Came during a time when they were serving $25 bottles of wine, and they were out of 2 of the 4 possible selections by 6:30 PM!
Great food, great atmosphere, great wine! We went for restaurant fest and the value was unbeatable. I'll be thinking about that mozzarella for weeks to come.
Food was absolutely delicious- made me feel like I was back in Tuscany! The Resaurant Fest menu was a good deal.
By far one of the best steaks I’ve ever ate. One of my favorite restaurants for sure. Gonna visit whenever I am in the city.
Great food and delicious wine. Waitress was very knowledgeable of wine regions.
The food was excellent and fresh, very tasty. Perhaps because we ordered off Restaurant Week menu, the portions were small. The wait staff was very nice but a little frazzled by the intense crowd.
A barebones room that would fit in in any big city mall. Special lunch was decent. began with a mozzarella starter, which as advertised accompanied only by Maldon salt and xvg oil, both imperceptible. Cheese, nonetheless was admirable. Entree of chicken involtini, with no eggplant as is customary, had asparagus. Quite nice chicken, but overcooked. Special $25 wine, a 2017 Nero d'Avola was delightful. Service very warm and attentive.
Been there many times for both business and family dinners. 3 times alone in the last week. last one was a disaster. after waiting more than 20mins and a bunch of excuses we got the pasts before the appetizers (carne cruda being one). then somebody came to show us the fiorentina before cutting. and then again disappeared for 20mins. waitress came telling us it was still on the grill but coming soon. when i said it was shown to us, she went back and came with a cold steak that clearly had been sitting there for a while. then she gave us as a reason that it was restaurant week and it was a real challenge. everybody has a bad evening and that actually didn't upset me despite being a very important business dinner. what was upsetting is that after messing up the order of food, getting a cold meat, contradicting each other with other stuff, there was not even an attempt to offer a glass of wine or proper apologies. we are 1 block away and doubt ill go back ever.
Too noisy to enjoy the meal, especially with a party of 6 people. Service was slow and inattentative
The food was absolutely delicious and the restaurant is in a more secluded part of Eataly so it is more quiet and provides a lovely ambiance.
Very attentive staff and great food. What more do you want?
Our colleague Scott and his wife Amanda helped us with a great table. There is nothing on the menu I wouldn’t eat. I had the pig, pig, pig special and it was sooooo amazing. Beat roasted pork belly ever. The pastas ate amazing, wish I could order every plate.
Service was amazing, thank you for making our NY visit pleasant. We also went to the other location for a drink earlier in the day and tried to control our eating knowing we would be dining at the flat iron location. Big boys on the shopping, they have everything! Can’t wait for the Toronto location to open. I went to the location in Florence a couple of years ago and was in total awe as well as the Chicago one. Big recommendation for casual or business dinners.
Not the first time I go there and it is always such a great place to eat. I would definitely recommend you to go there! The food is amazing and the service is perfect.
Amazing!! Everything about this place!! Would 100% recommend and I am definitely going back
We had one of the best meals we have ever had. The waitress was fabulous in recommending something we had never had but really enjoyed. She had a great recommendation on the wine and dessert as well. We ate Pappardelle al Ragu ’ di Manzo and Arrosto di Manzo con Polenta. Recommend Manzo’s to everyone.
