Food has improved since we were last here. Service has always been good.
This was a pre-wedding dinner with family from out if state. It was a pure disaster by waiter, Steven, who brought one of our guest butter with hair in it and forgeting my bride salad before dinner. Overcharging us for drinks we didn't have getting us mixed up with the party of 12 next to us,which he showed more interest in. Steven was not very professional tossing our check for the evening on the table and walking away. We have been coming here after church service on Sundays but now we may have to find another place in Lake Oswego. This was a total embarrassment to have our family here and how we bragged about this being a great Restuarant.
Great neighborhood place with good parking and menu!
One of our new favorite restaurants. Excellent food, drinks, & service. Zero complaints. Especially love the pecan crusted halibut and the cornbread.
Fine except they did not have our reservation- even tho open table sent me a confirmation. Not sure where the mix- up happened, but happy they had a table for us.
It was another great experience at Manzana. We were greeted promptly and led to the booth we had requested. The manager stopped to welcome us and Andrew, our server, was right behind him. Andrew remembered our drinks and quickly brought them over along with bread. He took our order and noted all our requests. He brought the seafood chowder which was delicious. We had ordered the blackened burger and the Apple Gorgonzola salad both to share and they were delivered split. I had forgotten to add Gorgonzola cheese and bacon to the burger and Andrew had it fixed in a jiffy. The food was scrumptious and added to that is the great service and friendly manager making an all around super experience. Thanks Manzana!!
Great server on Easter. Food was terrific. Nice place for quiet Sunday meal.
Easter w family
Six of us were sat in a relatively small booth, despite our reservation. While the food and service were phenomenal, the seating arrangements were less than ideal.
Basically like Bugatti’s. Horrible
Beef ribs were solid. Good homemade sauce
Felt rushed when appetizers, bread, and main dishes arrived all at once! Soup was very rich and pork was dry (I had expressed my desire to have it as moist as possible). Tried to get a second glass of wine but our server forgot.
We were met with a friendly greeting and welcome and immediately taken to our reserved table. Service was excellent and our food was delicious (yummy baby back ribs). A lovelt meal and lovely evening .
The problem was my dinner. I ordered fish and chips and was served 2 tiny pieces of fish. The waitress brought me a third piece when I asked if this was an appetizer portion. She was great but I was very surprised and would have wound up hungry if I didn't say something.
Nice variety of food selections. We love the corn bread.
Excellent service and food for a birthday celebration.
We went to Manzana for my Moms Birthday. Service was extraordinary and food was excellent!
The food was quite good. Crab / artichoke appetizer was excellent. We all had the prime rib and that was very good. The mashed potatoes and green beans that came with it was only like many restaurants - OK, but nothing special. Being Lake Oswego it is a bit pricey, but that was not surprising. The service was very good and all was done in good time.
Good food, good service, fun place to eat. Nice local restaurant.
Manzana is my “go to” restaurant in Lake Oswego...The food choices are excellent and are reasonably priced. Our server was Marin and she was very attentive....checking back with us frequently....On a humorous note she learned what a “3 fingered “ pour was when I ordered my favorite scotch....My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience..We will return..😊
Close proximity to home , pleasant restaurant for dinner. Good food, presentation great.
I would like smaller portions with less price, instead of asking for a "to go" bag for ordering a typical portion.
A bit of a wait, but that’s was offset with great service and food.
Excellent service! Food was great and didn't have to wait long. Our server was very attentive without being intrusive.
Please don’t contact me again. The dining room was very noisy. The drinks were expensive. We only went because of a $20 off promotion that was going to expire. There you have it.
Good food but very expensive. A French dip is $19. It’s just a sandwich.
We were greeted promptly and seated at the booth I had requested. Our server arrived and offered drinks which were quickly delivered. He stated that the soup was seafood chowder and we each ordered a cup. He took the rest of our order and brought bread. The chowder was fabulous! The manager, Eric, stopped by our table to say hi and we chatted a little. We were sharing two entrees and were brought extra plates. Our burger was so tasty and juicy. Our pasta dish was beyond belief! It was creamy and cheesy and tasted superb! All in all it was an excellent dining experience.
For a late lunch we had the rotisserie chicken and the salad with apples in it (with added chicken). Everything was fine, but not outstanding. I was a little disappointed that the rotisserie chicken was rather luke-warm, probably cooked well before we got it. Maybe they use the hot gravy (which was good) to warm it up (?), and I got the gravy on the side. The chicken had no particular flair to it. The mashers were quite good, and the coleslaw unusual in that it contains capers and dill. The salad was good. Service was fine. Pricing is reasonable.
the food was good - very generous. The waiter was even better. He seemed to care what he was doing.
Enjoyed the meal with friends. Rather noisy that evening. Have enjoyed their lunch as well in the past. Outside sitting is also nice in the summer. Good basic fare.
My wife and I take the kids here on special occasions: Valentine's Day, Christmas Eve. The kids love it and it is a very nice restaurant. We love the food and ambience. The staff makes you feel welcome. You do not feel out of place for the average person with kids.
Manzana is a restaurant for any occasion. Great food and the banana chocolate caramel pie is one of the reasons it is my favorite restaurant. The food is outstanding! After you have a full belly, take a stroll along the waterfront. Pretty amazing!
We had a wonderful Valentines dinner starting with happy hour drinks from an extensive beer and wine list. Our bar waiter was completely knowledgable, offered spot on wine suggestions, was attentive and warmly friendly. Definately a 10 out of 10 professional. Our dinner waiter was also exceptional on a busy fun evening. I followed his advice for the pork chop entree and it was perfectly prepared and delicious. We also had the halibut and again it was a home run. Big booths allowed side by side seating on a memorable romantic evening. Manzana is a can't miss world class restaurant. Day in and day out the best in Lake Oswego!
We got seated right away for our 7pm reservation. Food and drinks were good.
We enjoyed our Valentine’s dinner at Manzana and it was delicious, I had the prime rib dinner which was so tender and a great cut of meat and we also had the Salmon and the crusted halibut. The food was amazing and the service was top notch!
Food was great however after we were seated we sat for 15 minutes before any service member came to greet us. Definitely a turn off.
Excellent in every way!
Great food at a great price in a nice casual atmosphere. Server offered suggestions and was attentive.
We have been to Manzana in the summer and enjoyed outdoor dining with a beautiful view of the lake and the sunset; but this is our first time visiting in the winter. We were not disappointed!! We were celebrating Valentines Day, and were seated in a quiet booth by the window. The service was fast and friendly. The food was again excellent. I am a seafood lover, and have enjoyed their salmon in the past, but decided to try the pecan crusted halibut this time and am SO glad I did! I thought I had died and gone to Heaven!! Perfect! Fresh Halibut, too!! And the cilantro rice was amazing. We were so glad we decided on Manzana to celebrate our 37th Valentines Day together! We look forward to coming here for our 35th Wedding Anniversary dinner in the summer and enjoying the warmth of the sunshine outside and the beautiful lake view as well as the delicious food!!
Sunday Brunch at 1015AM. Service was excellent. Coffee was outstanding! I had the bacon, mushroom, and cheese omelet served with roasted potatoes - the omelet was done perfectly with lots of stuffing and the roasted potatoes were delicious. My date had the vegetarian omelet and was also pleased. We couldn't eat it all and the bill was $28. (no liquor). Join their club for points at this and a number of restaurants here in Portland and other places.
Manzana has an eclectic menu, featuring Latin dishes and good old fashioned comfort food. Since there were five of us, all of us on our first visit, we each got a different entree (pasta, fish tacos, scallops, hamburger and a french dip). Each dish was report to be very good to great. The food is properly prepared, and properly spiced. It was a busy Saturday night, and a little noisy, but the service was good and the casual atmosphere very comfortable. This will not be my last visit.
