Nice variety of food selections. We love the corn bread.
Excellent service and food for a birthday celebration.
We went to Manzana for my Moms Birthday. Service was extraordinary and food was excellent!
The food was quite good. Crab / artichoke appetizer was excellent. We all had the prime rib and that was very good. The mashed potatoes and green beans that came with it was only like many restaurants - OK, but nothing special. Being Lake Oswego it is a bit pricey, but that was not surprising. The service was very good and all was done in good time.
Good food, good service, fun place to eat. Nice local restaurant.
Manzana is my “go to” restaurant in Lake Oswego...The food choices are excellent and are reasonably priced. Our server was Marin and she was very attentive....checking back with us frequently....On a humorous note she learned what a “3 fingered “ pour was when I ordered my favorite scotch....My friend and I had a wonderful dining experience..We will return..😊
Close proximity to home , pleasant restaurant for dinner. Good food, presentation great.
I would like smaller portions with less price, instead of asking for a "to go" bag for ordering a typical portion.
A bit of a wait, but that’s was offset with great service and food.
Excellent service! Food was great and didn't have to wait long. Our server was very attentive without being intrusive.
Please don’t contact me again. The dining room was very noisy. The drinks were expensive. We only went because of a $20 off promotion that was going to expire. There you have it.
Good food but very expensive. A French dip is $19. It’s just a sandwich.
We were greeted promptly and seated at the booth I had requested. Our server arrived and offered drinks which were quickly delivered. He stated that the soup was seafood chowder and we each ordered a cup. He took the rest of our order and brought bread. The chowder was fabulous! The manager, Eric, stopped by our table to say hi and we chatted a little. We were sharing two entrees and were brought extra plates. Our burger was so tasty and juicy. Our pasta dish was beyond belief! It was creamy and cheesy and tasted superb! All in all it was an excellent dining experience.
For a late lunch we had the rotisserie chicken and the salad with apples in it (with added chicken). Everything was fine, but not outstanding. I was a little disappointed that the rotisserie chicken was rather luke-warm, probably cooked well before we got it. Maybe they use the hot gravy (which was good) to warm it up (?), and I got the gravy on the side. The chicken had no particular flair to it. The mashers were quite good, and the coleslaw unusual in that it contains capers and dill. The salad was good. Service was fine. Pricing is reasonable.
the food was good - very generous. The waiter was even better. He seemed to care what he was doing.
Enjoyed the meal with friends. Rather noisy that evening. Have enjoyed their lunch as well in the past. Outside sitting is also nice in the summer. Good basic fare.
My wife and I take the kids here on special occasions: Valentine's Day, Christmas Eve. The kids love it and it is a very nice restaurant. We love the food and ambience. The staff makes you feel welcome. You do not feel out of place for the average person with kids.
Manzana is a restaurant for any occasion. Great food and the banana chocolate caramel pie is one of the reasons it is my favorite restaurant. The food is outstanding! After you have a full belly, take a stroll along the waterfront. Pretty amazing!
We had a wonderful Valentines dinner starting with happy hour drinks from an extensive beer and wine list. Our bar waiter was completely knowledgable, offered spot on wine suggestions, was attentive and warmly friendly. Definately a 10 out of 10 professional. Our dinner waiter was also exceptional on a busy fun evening. I followed his advice for the pork chop entree and it was perfectly prepared and delicious. We also had the halibut and again it was a home run. Big booths allowed side by side seating on a memorable romantic evening. Manzana is a can't miss world class restaurant. Day in and day out the best in Lake Oswego!
We got seated right away for our 7pm reservation. Food and drinks were good.
We enjoyed our Valentine’s dinner at Manzana and it was delicious, I had the prime rib dinner which was so tender and a great cut of meat and we also had the Salmon and the crusted halibut. The food was amazing and the service was top notch!
Food was great however after we were seated we sat for 15 minutes before any service member came to greet us. Definitely a turn off.
Excellent in every way!
Great food at a great price in a nice casual atmosphere. Server offered suggestions and was attentive.
We have been to Manzana in the summer and enjoyed outdoor dining with a beautiful view of the lake and the sunset; but this is our first time visiting in the winter. We were not disappointed!! We were celebrating Valentines Day, and were seated in a quiet booth by the window. The service was fast and friendly. The food was again excellent. I am a seafood lover, and have enjoyed their salmon in the past, but decided to try the pecan crusted halibut this time and am SO glad I did! I thought I had died and gone to Heaven!! Perfect! Fresh Halibut, too!! And the cilantro rice was amazing. We were so glad we decided on Manzana to celebrate our 37th Valentines Day together! We look forward to coming here for our 35th Wedding Anniversary dinner in the summer and enjoying the warmth of the sunshine outside and the beautiful lake view as well as the delicious food!!
Sunday Brunch at 1015AM. Service was excellent. Coffee was outstanding! I had the bacon, mushroom, and cheese omelet served with roasted potatoes - the omelet was done perfectly with lots of stuffing and the roasted potatoes were delicious. My date had the vegetarian omelet and was also pleased. We couldn't eat it all and the bill was $28. (no liquor). Manzana has an eclectic menu, featuring Latin dishes and good old fashioned comfort food. Since there were five of us, all of us on our first visit, we each got a different entree (pasta, fish tacos, scallops, hamburger and a french dip). Each dish was report to be very good to great. The food is properly prepared, and properly spiced. It was a busy Saturday night, and a little noisy, but the service was good and the casual atmosphere very comfortable. This will not be my last visit.
This was the best dinner I have ever have. The best food ever. Beautiful setting. So worth it. Prices are reasonable. The only thing that was negative was the server. He kept forgetting things. He even forgot our appitizer, then he kept it on the bill. It looked like he had too many tables. Other then our experience with him, the place was great!
Manzanas is our favorite restaurant in all of Metro Portland. We make the trip from Gresham over to Lake Oswego to enjoy their great food and cozy atmosphere. The parking is handy in the nearby parking garage and the staff is so accommodating. Best Thanksgiving dinner in town and wonderful setting for any special occasion. We have brought out-of-town guests here and they loved it. I would recommend Manzanas to anyone looking for an affordable, delicious meal.
Each of the three of us had different entrees and we all loved our food. Sat night and they were busy but the server was attentive. We enjoyed and will return.
Our waiter was fantastic!
Birthday dinner for my son. As always the service was excellent and the food was awesome!
We frequent this restaurant quite often and this was the first time we ever had a problem! It wasn’t a biggie but was bothersome.
We were greeted quickly and seated in our favorite booth. Our server approached and took our drink and soup order. He brought beverages and chowder and took our order. We split a crab and artichoke sandwich and a chop turkey salad. Our sandwiches were delivered and I thought our server would be right back with the salad. We waited about 3 minutes before he returned and asked if everything was going well and if we needed anything. I answered our salad. He replied it’s up there and departed. I figured he was going to bring it back but it was another 5 minutes and we were practically finished so asked for a to go box. When I mentioned that it was late he stated he was the only one here to run food. The sandwich, by the way, was delicious.
Hadn’t been to this restaurant in a while, won’t be back any time soon. Too many better options in LO.
Noisy, were sat on table right by kitchen and bussing station, despite asking for booth.
Cold, were sat by window and under A/c.
Fried Calamari app was small, lukewarm, oily. $12
Fish tacos described as steelhead and cod, but was just coated, fried cod. Beans were good $16 for 2 tacos.
Rotisserie chicken ok, food lukewarm.
Was pricy for the quality, we only went as we had a $20 off $50 mailer sent to us.
Server was good.
Hostess that seated us was abrasive and unapologetic to us and other diners about the wait, despite reservations.
The restaurant was out of chicken when we got there at 7:30 pm. If I would have known that before sitting down then I would not have stayed since the rotisserie chicken is the reason I chose this restaurant in the first place. The server did comp our dessert to accommodate but I was still disappointed
Very good food and service!
The food was excellent and enough to take home for leftovers.
The hostess told us there would be at least a 45 minute wait. We went to THEIR website and made a reservation through Open Table and waited only two minutes to be seated among a sea of open tables. The hostess became rude and confrontational when we questioned the logic of this situation. We will not be back. They are obviously not managing their seating/reservation process appropriately.
Brought a friend along today to share in this wonderful restaurant! She loved the atmosphere and the food. I come here quite often and now she will too! I hope everyone knows this great restaurant!
Had a crispy lobster taco with beans. It was tasty! Staff was friendly. Restaurant in a nice area in Lake Oswego. Will definitely come back.
The coconut shrimp is a must have!! Please keep that on your menu!
