Manzana - Lake Oswego

Enjoyed our anniversary dinner. Drinks - Food-Service were all top-notch. We recommend!
Just wanted to try a new place.
My vege burger was outstanding! Worth my 1 hr drive from Salem
As I wrote for my Trip Advisor review of Manzana's, the halibut and the pork ribs were both great, but the presentation of the baked beans "slopped" onto the left side of the plate with the cornbread getting wet from the bean juice that had also run over to the ribs was not appetizing at all! I simply stared at my plate stunned for several seconds before saying, "this just looks awful!" A small bowl of the baked beans would have been much more appealing. Fortunately, the baked beans and the corn bread were both delicious, but the presentation left a great deal to be desired!!
Great service and server.
Food was delicious, service was great. We will be coming back here!
Great food, great service !
They were running late, but it was Valentine's Day. Great service and a very good meal.
Made reservation a week in advance for Valentines Day dinner with my wife, and when we arrived 5 minutes early for our appointed time we were informed it would be “a few minutes.” The waiting area was crammed full of people, and there was very little seating with none available. The hostess was clearly flustered and was short and brash with those waiting. The “few minutes” ended up being close to 30 minutes. It was obvious that the restaurant had overbooked as every table in sight was full. Our wait person, Andrew W, was the only saving grace as he was friendly and took good care of us. The Prime Rib was dry and a bit chewy; a disappointment to be sure.
We will not spend our valuable time and money on Manzana again. We also cannot, in good conscience, recommend them to any looking for a nice evening out. This used to be a nice restaurant that catered to their customers, but it appears that the new owner only cares about the bottom line and only the bottom line. I am truly sorry to be writing this, but also truly sorry to have spent our special evening at Manzana!
Valentine’s Day and it was very busy. We had to wait much longer than usual. Staff behaved well despite crowd. Service was excellent and food was also excellent. Brought a bottle of wine and corkage fee was reasonable.
Absolutely horrible experience. Had reservations on Valentine’s Day just for 2 and still had to wait over 30 minutes. We were the first couple to check in for our 6:00 reservation and was the last to be seated because the hostess let the people that complained go before us over and over. Finally after 30 minutes I went to ask the hostess how much longer the wait would be and that we had reservations 30 minutes ago and that people that came in after us got a table before and she ended up yelling at me beyond rudely. It was beyond unprofessional and even had a couple when I walked back say that was extremely rude of her to do that. Finally after I basically reminded her we were there she says “take those 2 people in the corner to there table”. Doesn’t say our name or anything like she did for everybody else. Basically was in tears at this point and did not want to spend my valentines like this. Will never go back again.
Drove up from Salem, we met friends and everyone enjoyed the meal.
What I love about Manzana is the overall consistency of their quality food, service, ambiance and the variety they offer in their menus. I never tire of going to Manzana and love taking my friends there!
Great food at a reasonable price and excellent service. Our waitperson was very helpful in helping make a food selection. We both received excellent meals.
Our server was good and we had a good time, but the prices are high for the quality of the food.
Another wonderful dinner at Manzana's. Birthday for my granddaughter and we thoroughly enjoyed it. The food was, as always, wonderful, as was the service.
See you again soon.
Friendly service, great menu choices; looking forward to patio dining !
Rotisserie chicken was dry. Others had a better experience.
We were out with friends to enjoy a new restaurant. Unfortunately the table sitting next to us was a table of 12, six adults and six very noisy children it was hard to enjoy your dinner is when we couldn’t even hear ourselves talk. We will go back and hopefully have a very different experience with the environment.
Our food was very slow in coming to our table. I got the French dip and the ajus tasted like it game out of can. Everyone else’s meal was just fine. It won’t stop us from coming back
Service was excellent. Food was outstanding.
Good food, good service, quiet so very conducive to conversation among friends.
Like this place alot. Nice food. Warm feeling and good service. Sort of a go to place when you need an unplanned but good night out.
We were here for a happy hour while finishing our shopping for the holiday on December 21st. The food and service were excellent. We treated ourselves to multiple items including dessert.
Wonderful Variety of food suitable for most people. Pleasant staff. Would definitely come again.
I had a late lunch here on a Sunday. They have nice outdoor seating with views of the lake, but it was packed, so I ate indoors, which was rather dark! They have a rotisserie, so I had one of the specials, which was really good, but unfortunately was mostly pork fat - very little lean meat. Definitely a nice place to eat with convenient parking and nice views and rotisserie meats!
Food is good. Service is great. We eat here often. It is a good idea to make a dinner reservation.
I had an absolutely amazing experience here. I came here with my boyfriend for our anniversary and our server was extremely friendly. The food was so good and had us at a loss of words.
Excellent food and drinks as well as a friendly waitress in the bar as well as at the restaurant. They were very accommodating to may special dietary requests.
appetizer salad was just right size for smaller appetites. Not too small but not overwhelming. Husband enjoyed ribs. Other two in party also very satisfied.
Server excelled at her service. Despite being busy opened our wine promptly, then attended to water and wine glasses. Food excelled, Parmesan Halibut was good, but wife liked previous Pecan Halibut better. Will be back.
3 of us came in for dinner. It was very enjoyable ( we each chose a different entree). Everyone was happy with their selection. Wait staff was attentive but not “hovering”. We’ll be back. Very good.
Enjoyed celebrating recent occasions with family over lunch. All the food ordered was excellent but felt the beer cheddar soup was somewhat over-rated. The flavor lacked the zest I remember from days of eating at Manzana's in the Pearl District. Great coffee! Delicious sandwiches. And our server was the BEST! Her attitude exuded professionalism and excellence in every way. We won't let the soup keep us away.
This was a disappointing experience for us. The ambience was like a chain restaurant (think Applebees), uninteresting. The quaity of the food was also like a mediocre chain restaurant. The service was very good. We had two orders of fish tacos (two tacoes each and it came with a small bowl of beans) and two glasses of very moderate house wine, including tip just over $60! There are very good choices in Lake Oswego, this isn't one of them.
Sunday Brunch is always great, surpassed only by the excellent service of our long-time server! Our “Sunday go to.” Never disappointed!
Very tight seating for 5 adults. Food was very average. Apple crisp dessert was way too sweet
Its an awesome place and the food is really good..Very polite and knowledgeable waiter.. we will be back soon
I went here for Valentine’s Day dinner with my wife. The environment was ok, a bit loud but that was fine. The server was pretty forgetful and it took over 1 hour to get our food. The food reminded me of like a Red Robin but in Lake Oswego so it was more expensive. I won’t go back just due to the quality. Food was reheated for use for sure.
