Mantee is exceptional. Consistent and always delicious

Have been going to Mantee for years and we love it. The food is delicious and consistent. I've never had a bad dish there. The outside dining is fabulous, unfortunately there was a huge party going on so we chose to sit inside which turned into a mistake as a big, loud, table ended up next to us and the acoustics inside are not made for that. We couldn't enjoy our meal because of this but the food was, as always, excellent as is the service (JAKE!!!!)

Fattoush salad is one of the best salads you will ever eat! Do not eat here without ordering it - but be sure to share... it's large!

Queens Delight is TO DIE FOR! I've reviewed this dish before - does not disappoint.

Baked Feta is amazing, but definitely has a kick to it. Jalepenos are baked in, but you can ask them not to put extra on top if you don't like it too spicy.

Do not leave this place without ordering the Baklava.

This is one of the only restaurants I've ever been to where there's not a morsel left on the plate when we leave. Everything is incredible - they really know what they are doing. Everything came out quickly and was cooked to perfection. This is quickly becoming one of my favorite places to eat in LA!

I love to dine at the Mantee Cafe and have been a loyal customer for a few years now. I recently took my boyfriend (a self-proclaimed Meat-and-potatoes-guy), and he was wowed. I enjoy trying one new dish everytime I visit and I have yet to be disappointed.

I love this restaurant and the food and service is always outstanding. This time the food was not 100% but still very good. We sat indoor since the weather was cold but I love their outside seating and the ambiance. The waiter was not the regular and he was not as good as the rest of the team.

Excellent service here. It was windy and cold, so they figured out a way to get us to an inside table. Server was knowledgeable and food was prompt and pretty good. Parking was not terribly easy. The owner parked in front of the handicapped spot because of some construction...
Overall, a nice dinner with a nice atmosphere. We would definitely come back.

This is hands down my go-to place for a great meal, whether with family or friends. It's consistently wonderful. They're probably tired of seeing me there ... but I will keep going back. The Queen's Delight is awesome -- just one of so many things to try.

Pretty place in a good location. The food was ok, service was fair and portions are very small. The server initially told us that the entrees were large enough to be family style but it is most definitely not the case. Order your own entree. The lamb chops I ordered were severely charred and inedible. We decided to not bother with dessert based on the mediocre dinner. Standard gratuity charge for a party of 5. Servers seemed really busy and could not keep up with the tables so maybe they were short handed.

Love this place! Hidden gem in the valley. They have many different options to choose from.

My husband and I LOVE Mantee, and are reminded of why whenever we eat there. We love yo take friends, but this time, it was just the two of us. Nevertheless, we still ordered all our very favorites -- tabouleh, hummus with pine nuts, sue berag, queen's delight, mantee traditional and spicy potatoes -- and took the extra home. Yum!!!

Fount this gem through a friend. The food is absolutely delicious and I love that it is a family owned restaurant. I’ve been there late and the owner on several locations has come out to greet each table.
This place is perfect for two or larger group if you give advanced notice on reservation.

The food and restaurant itself was nice but our service was mediocre. I had to ask our waiter 3x for lemon for my water when everyone else in the restaurant had lemon come with their water. I then asked another waiter for some lemon and he also never brought me any lemon. I asked a third waiter who happened to be new for some lemon and he brought me a bowl of lemon wedges within a minute. Our initial waiter didn't seem that busy but he only came by a couple of times. We had other waiters who came by to ask us about our meals and make sure we had everything we needed. If it wasnt for the other waiters I don't think I would want to return even though the food was good. We even had to ask for our check a couple of times.

Wonderful Gem! Mediterranean is the theme (which could mean anything these days) but actually it’s Armenian, with a varied menu of hot and cold appetizers as well as the usual kebab meals.
Last time I checked, Armenia doesn’t border the sea whose food this restaurant represents; this is due to the rich cultural history of the Armenian diaspora from Asia Minor and the eastern Mediterranean cuisine that they brought with them.
We are now the fortunate beneficiaries. Salut!

What an absolutely charming place. You need to enter from the alley. The front door is rather deceiving. The garden has little lights, great service and a delightful menu. We shared a fabulous salad, yogurt marinate lamb chops and hummus with pine nuts. First time trying a white wine from Lebanon (delicious). Can't wait to go again.

Great food. A twist on traditional middle eastern fair. The Resturant is in a converted home. Very Charming.

What would have been an hour long dinner turned into 2 hours due to not being served. We ordered appetizers then our waiter took our menus away and when asked for another one he never came back. We then were charged the expensive glass of wine because the waiter didn't write down the order all together so chose to give us that. The food is great and the bus boys should be the waiters and paid more as they were so nice and willing to help as much as they could.

Mantee Cafe is a neighborhood gem! I've brought many friends here who never heard of it and they fall in love with this restaurant, too. It's one of those, (sadly), rare privately owned restaurants that's authentic, delicious, relaxing, real, casual, NOT trendy, healthy, friendly and wonderful. Can't say enough great things about this place!

Mantee is one of my favorite restaurants in Los Angeles! Just try it and you'll see what I mean. I recommend getting a bunch of things to split with the table, and make sure to try the Mantee Traditional and the Dolma w/Yogurt. :)
