Nice ambiance with multiple small rooms for diners. Varied menu with good nightly specials. I didn’t feel rushed thru each course. Great meal with good prices
Took my girlfriend here to propose to her. Yes, we got engaged! Food was delicious and prices were reasonable for fine dining. If you are looking to take someone here to experience modern Louisiana cuisine this is a wonderful place to eat.
Always a pleasure to dine here- great food, great service - very friendly
Lovely restaurant! Live piano music was a delightful surprise. Food was very good and service was outstanding. We will go back.
Of all the places you can eat in Baton Rouge, this is my favorite.
We had a very nice anniversary dinner. Good service, good drinks and excellent service.
One of my favorite places to dine in Baton Rouge. It is always consistently great from year to year. The specials are always something special to order. The char-grilled oysters win the award for the best in Louisiana.
The service was too rude, immediately steated, we were asked if we made our choice for wine, and after a few minutes our choose for food!
Everyone was so nice and sweet. At least three people wished my boyfriend happy birthday, including the hostess! Our waiter was awesome and at the end got the pianist to play happy birthday while he lit the candle on our dessert. Such a great experience, my boyfriend was so happy and so was I!! Thank you Mansurs!
Excellent service, excellent food. Seemed louder than normal this visit. Piano was nice but loud. Could have been our close proximity to the piano.
We had an issue with our food but the waiter and manager were very quick to fix the issue. The service recovery was handled very well by both of them. They could not have been nicer and or more professional. I got the Chicken Picatta and the spinach salad both were very good but I wish the Chicken was lightly fried. The salad was very good as well. The rest of the food after they corrected my wife's food was very good.
We enjoyed our anniversary dinning experience. The service was outstanding and the food was superb. An upscale dinning experience for a reasonable tab. You are treated as if you are the only one's there.
Tried to sit us in the noisy bar instead of the restaurant, when we had a reservation through OT.
Disappointed, not up to previous visits. Too much emphasis on sauces.
Very upscale. Special dining experience with good food and outstanding service. Comparable to top-of-the line restaurants in Houston and Chicago.
Service and ambience on par with PaPas Brothers in Houston although the quality of the food isn't quite to that level. Prices were within expectation for formal dining of this quality.
Amazing as usual one of my favorite places
The oysters were good. But the gumbo was very sub par. It was made from a tomato based Roux and tasted more like a stew than a gumbo. The crab cakes were ok. But not completely warm throughout
My wife and I loved our dinner here. The filet was great as was the Napa salad and the Brie and crab soup. Our reservation was late Saturday but our waitress was awesome.
PERFECT for a delicious after game meal!
We enjoyed the lively atmosphere, especially after a great WIN over Georgia.
Can Not Wait to go back again.
Wonderful food. Great fun. Amazing service!
Great food and service.
Always have enjoyed Mansurs in the 13 years the I have lived here
Excellent menu selections and the service was excellent. Mansur's provides a quiet, elegant dining experience. The live piano music was an added romantic touch. Conversation occurs without the need for shouting or raising one's voice. The food was high quality and well prepared. I enjoy going to Mansur's for any occasion.
Quality food, service, environment. Our favorite expensive restaurant with no pretentious.
Consistently delicious cajun/creole cuisine. Attentive wait staff.
Our waiter, Coutley, was an excellent service provider. He was knowledgeable and friendly but not intrusive. He made our time there special as we were celebrating my dad‘s 80th birthday! I would recommend as highly as we had a fantastic meal and a fantastic time!
Unimpressive. The complimentary bread was the best part of our meal. We passed our plates around, and the consensus was that the food was okay, but definitely not excellent. The servers were inattentive and sloppy. The restroom smelled before I opened the door.
By far the best restaurant in Baton Rouge.
You can never go wrong here. The triple tail, Oscar style is amazing. Nothing compares to this place.
I love Mansur's! I can always depend on the food and service to be excellent. We enjoyed a nice, quiet dinner for two:).
Sunday Brunch is the best. Best char broiled oysters around
The atmosphere was very good and the food was phenomenal. The staff was very attentive.
This was actually our second visit. Both very good. I learned this time the menu is very flexible. I had grilled salmon on a cedar plank. We enjoyed my wife's birthday. The service was excellent.
Service was friendly at both bar and table however food was surprisingly only fair on average. Dirty martini was oddly sweet, possibly the mixing tin had residual leftover from previous drink? At table grilled oysters were decent, starter soups were flavorful but only luke warm at best, starter salad (crawfish) was good, however entrees of soft shell crab (crab was good but the addition of the $ bbq shrimp sort of ruined it), a steak and another salad as an entree were just fair. There was no music playing in the dining room the entire time, just a lonely piano, uncomfortably quiet like a library, in the restaurant you could hear everyone else's conversations. Bread pudding for dessert was good. If back in town may try it again but wouldn't necessarily be my first choice.
The only thing that the restaurant needs to improve is the wine list.
Everything is excellent. I would like to see more Riesling and sweet white wine on the list.
It is very limit selection.
We did not order any wine because of that. The restaurant can make more money and more popular to expand the wine list.
Excellent food and services, the live music (piano player) was wonderful. I went with my husband and kids and they love it. We will came back.
The service was great as well as the food. First visit, but will return again, Charbroiled Oysters were to die for...
The chargrilled oysters were disappointing. Small and tasteless. The zydeco mushrooms were fair at best. Soup was nothing special. Ordered a 9 oz filet medium rare and got a tough medium cooked one.
Nice atmosphere, good service, great cocktails and mixed drinks Outstanding taste for both seafood and steak. Great selection from menu and specials.
Made reservations for date night and was running a little bit late. Arrived and went right to our table. We had a quite little corner table with lots of privacy and the waiter was wonderful. Ordered drinks and just enjoyed each others company while talking. Drinks were very prompt and food was as well. The food was excellent and would highly recommend the charbroiled oysters.
Mansur's is reliably wonderful. The butterfinger creme brulee is the best dessert ever!
Katie, our server, was very pleasant and attentive. She gave us the specials in a complete and informative way. However, the price of the specials was not provided.
