Beautiful night from the moment we walked in. Incredible service from front of house to the back. Light piano played as we ate our delicious meals. Their cocktail menu is one of the best I've seen in BR. Absolutely loved my anniversary here. It was perfect!
Outstanding food and ambience! The waiter was terrific until the end when he got really busy with other large tables.
As always a wonderful dining experience. Chargrilled oysters topped with lump crabmeat. Need I say more?
My first time dining at Mansurs. Fabulous! Had the gold tilefish - scrumptious! Waiter Chris was great.
Consistently an enjoyable dining experience! Traditional birthday lunch with my friend-mention birthday for a complimentary dessert. Bread pudding was perfect!
The chargrilled oysters were fantastic. The filet was excellent as well! 2 thumbs up!
The food , the service and selection are always outstanding ! Their fish dishes are always fresh and fantastic ! #goodeats
My wife and I went to celebrate out 36th anniversary. She had the planked swordfish and I had the softshell crab. While portions were large, they were so delicious there was nothing left for take home boxes. Because we were celebrating our anniversary they provided a complementary bread pudding for dessert. Outstanding! Will definitely return for another special occasion.
I really enjoyed the food and the service we received was great!
My son and I were celebrating the end of a doctoral program for myself and very successful completion of his freshman year at LSU. Chris was abundantly attendant to our needs and desires from his greeting citing our occasion through exquisite recommendations and service of a fantastic meal to the desserts and completion of our experience. My hat is off to you all.
So good, great service. I love this place!
Great food and service. Excellent place to celebrate any family event
We had a wonderful experience for our 32nd wedding anniversary, and Courtleigh provided exceptional service.
The food was fabulous!!! The wait staff was very knowledgeable about the menu and wine to pair with the food. We eat here every time we come to Baton Rouge and will go back!!!!
Service was excellent. We appreciate the chef accommodating our food intolerances. We also appreciate the low noise level. Food was well prepared and nicely presented.
Delicious food in a comfortable atmosphere!
Best restaurant meal we’ve had since Paris last spring! Definitely recommend for anyone traveling to Baton Rouge. The ambience was greatly enhance by a talented pianist.
Our first time to Mansur's and for our anniversary, I gotta say it was a great night all around. If you don't know who Chris Motto is, look him up...a star in the making and someone who's actively trying to boost the culinary climate in Baton Rouge. He even made his way to walk around the dining room and greet a couple of guests which we had the pleasure to talk with him for a bit. I don't normally write restaurant reviews but our expectations were blown away and we will be back.
The food is the best and the chef is amazing. Everyone is so nice and there is always something new to taste.
Good and service were great. Piano player kept things lively, but not too loud
Went here for a birthday brunch. Enjoyed the French Qtr crepes which were excellent.
Great first time. On business, staying next door, dropped in to "shop local" rather than going to the chain mall down the street. I think it was Andy, young man behind the bar, gave excellent food and wine recommendations as well as outstanding service. The steak special was delicious and the bread pudding was amazing. A definite recommendation and a regular stop on future visits.
Server needed a bit more training on the bar and moving through the courses. However, the food never disappoints and oysters were great!
One of the best restaurants at which we’ve ever had the pleasure of dining. The crabcakes were fantastic, large and moist. The gumbo was meaty with a little spice. Delicious. The red fish was crunchy and moist at the same time - very flavorful. And the ultimate alfredeaux was the best I’ve ever eaten. The hostess was friendly and the service was perfect. I would highly recommend Mansurs.
Wonderful evening of birthday and anniversary celebration. Dozens of chargrilled oysters and martinis and craft cocktails, cedar planked redfish, specs, triple tail.... sublime. Amazing perfect staff and a lovely piano playing in the dining room. Our favorite place in town.
Had a wonderful time!!!
So very good, I wonder why we go to other restaurants. This one is always so special.
No! We went the prior week, it was lovely. We went again this past Saturday, we’d never go back again. Very loud, because even though we had a reservation, we were seated in a packed BAR, in a corner surrounded by people screaming at the TV, watching the bb game. As soon as the hostess guided us to the table, I asked her if there was availability in the dining room, since it was date night with my husband. She explained there may be a possible small table ? All the girls, and our server, Olli were wonderful. Appetizer was cold, entree’s were mediocre at best. Nothing like our fist experience there. Very disappointed. Best part was the $80.00 bottle of wine we purchased.
Duck is one of my favs here. the service is outstanding! Duke was out waiter and he was very attentive. We brought our own wine and the sommelier recommended to decent for about 30 minutes. Cant wait to go back for seafood next time.
Never disappointed at Mansurs - ALWAYS top notch. Great place for a business lunch, a romantic dinner, or drinks after work.
Soups are always perfection. Fish of the day cedar plank roasted was amazing. Our family needs to go there more often. Great atmosphere with beautiful live piano music.
Awesome food, although took a little while between appetizer and entrees. Also took some time to get additional drinks. Great place though; I have been several times and the food has always been consistently wonderful! I will definitely go back!!
We are from out of state and tried this restaurant based on the reviews. We were not disappointed. The food was amazing....you have to try the Louisiana lust for dessert.
Reliably excellent food, especially the seafood and steaks. Always a good meal. Our server was new and a little quiet, but fine.
Enjoyed the food and service and easy place to dine.
Very much enjoyed my birthday brunch on Sunday. Service was excellent and food was delicious.
My husband and I come here often. The food and service are always excellent. However, service was a bit slow this past weekend and while most of the dishes were good, some were just okay.
We had a wonderful time at Mansur's. It was a special 'date night' for us. We loved the piano music, and the amount of attention we received from our waiter was perfect. I had been there before, but my honey had not. The crab and brie soup was fantastic, as usual. We also ordered the eggplant stack, which was fabulous, The crab was plentiful and succulent. We shared the crabcakes, the ahi tuna, and a sensation salad. Each dish was wonderfully prepared and served. We didn't have room for dessert, but brought home some bread pudding to share later. We will definitely return!
We were there to celebrate our exchange student birthday. The steak were outstanding. Chef Motto came to the table to visit. And help celebrate.
The welcome, the service and oh my...the food. It was all fabulous!
