Mano's Restaurant and Lounge
Old fashioned okay food. No surprise. Veggie might come from the freezer.
Very good food, and service. Would definitely recommend to friends and family.
I have dined at Manos often and enjoy taking friends there as I know the food will be good especially the chicken orzo soup. What I like is the parking. Much better than metered parking. I had the best quiche ever this visit. Cheesy asparagus. The pastry is always flakey tender. Although we did not have dessert the selection is wonderful. Our waitress was excellent.
The food was excellent and the service outstanding. Our waiter was personable and went above and beyond to ensure we had a memorable evening.
I asked for a table by the rock wall but I could not see it. Our server did not make sure to clear all dirty dishes from table and empty cups. I expect better service and I was very disappointed. I had to ask her to take my empty bottle and when she gave us the bill she did not clear the cutlery and dishes we were done with. Nothing is worse than sitting with a dirty table and dirty dishes while you are trying to have a nice visit. I was super disappointed. I have always had flawless service in the past from manos so it was disheartening.
Great food great service. Will be back!
Good food for a decent price. Excellent service. Thx
Manos is al t’as a favourite place to take friends. It’s always reliable
Service & food were both superb. It was filled in the restaurant at lunch but still quiet.
Every time we are in Saskatoon we have to make a visit Manos. My kids love the the Greek baby back ribs and the Chicago bbq ribs. I think the boneless dry ribs are the best there are, and my wife loves the Greek salad.
Excellent halibut and pepered steak. Enjoyed dessert. Creme brulee and tiramisu.
We just sat down and more family showed up for supper so we requested a bigger table and they were very accommodating to make it work.
Love the online reservations. Thanks for accommodating us always at short notice. :)
The server and service provided was outstanding. The food did not match the restaurant ambiance or service. The chicken and lemon rice soup was extremely salty, they replaced it with a salad for me which looked like a salad you get out of a store bought bag and the chicken supreme was dry and burnt in many places. The veggies that came with the chicken was soggy and had minimal flavor. The best part of my meal was the garlic mashed potatoes, which was delicious. I recommend Mano’s for drinks and dessert, but I would likely stay away for a meal.
I have been to Mano's many times and the food was always great except for this last time. Everyone at our table had the breaded cutlets which were overcooked (very crispy) and the beans were undercooked. I was quite disappointed as I had spoken very highly about Mano's to my out of town guests.
It was very nice !!
My mothers 80 th bday and was treated so special love this place.
Forgot soup. Portions are too large.
Absolutely amazing the lighting and the table we were seated at was perfect for a romantic date, and the food was great!
We had the New Year’s Eve special feature platter for two which the lamb chops were chewy and the salmon/lobster Wellington was over cooked on all off our plates. Our server was great but the background music was way too loud. We chose to have a dining experience for the quieter ambiance. Had to ask twice for the music to be turned down.
I dropped my phone at our table and didn’t realize this until we were home. I phone back twice to explain to the hostess and our server that my phone was on the floor at our table. They insisted that my phone was not at the restaurant. I had to take a cab all the way back to the restaurant and had my phone in two minutes. It was on the floor at our table right where I said it would be. Thanks for costing me an extra $60 in cab fare.
A fantastic New Year’s Eve supper! Our waitress was outstanding and never missed a thing. A huge thanks to the staff for putting up with us! Thanks for moving us to a warmer table, and giving us another table when more people showed up, even though the reservation was only for 6! A great time was had by all! 👍👍
The food was delicious and our server was fabulous!
I totally recommended this as a romantic and child friendly service. Staff was amazing . They continued checked on us to see if our food was at our satisfaction also asked if we needed refils for our beverages. Last but not least they asked if we needed dessert but I was already full. Next time I would love dessert. Me and my fiance say we would definitely go back and try different entries.
Food was great! A bit pricey though. Overall experience was great.
Alexandro was an attentive server very attuned to our service needs--efficient, friendly but not fawning. He even brought us a complimentary dessert to honour an anniversary one couple was celebrating. He deserves kudos for performing his duties well. Food was excellent and we all enjoyed our meals.
Our only criticism has nothing to do with either service or food: the management had hired a keyboardist to play during the dinner hours (it was Christmas so the place was busy) and s/he no doubt believed that this would enhance diners' experiences.
But as is so often the case, the music, although pleasant, was WAY too loud! Too loud to carry on a decent conversation with our tablemates. We ended up having to raise our voices just to hear each other, and some at our table were missing entire conversations because of the annoying volume of the music.
Will restaurants PLEASE realise that people typically come to your establishments to do TWO things: enjoy a good meal, and converse with their tablemates (unless they are alone). This is not a concert venue. We are not here paying to sit silently while music makes it impossible to converse. Yes, some of us enjoy the art of conversation and refuse to ignore our company to sit tapping an electronic device.
We voiced our displeasure to Alexandro about the music volume and he did try to have it adjusted, but to no avail. He was apologetic but acknowledged that the music volume was (apparently) beyond his control.
Sadly, our gathering was a once-in-50-years occurrence and we are unlikely to have the same group together again. The evening was significantly marred by loud music.
So we will not be returning to Mano's on 8th in Saskatoon for this reason. Had we known live music was on offer, would never have booked a table.
Excellent all around
Went here for a date night with my husband. Never been. Will be returning. Food was amazing!! Had the platter for two. Soooooo good. Jeremy was our waiter. He was great! If he was busy, we will still were waited on by others. Couldn't complain about a thing.
We have been going to Mano's every year for 34 yrs for out Anniversary. Always a great experience. Good food at reasonable prices. Service is always great. A Little drafty at the table we sat at.
Consistently delicious Greek and Canadian cuisine. Welcoming modern environment. Always great service.
Our server Alexandro was excellent.
Best place to eat in Saskatoon great service and value
A favourite local restaurant. Good selection for friends from out of town.
Feast for two was amazing. Service was superb from the moment we entered the restaurant until our departure. A great place, meal and wine to celebrate our 44th Anniversary.
Service on slow side. Disappointed with the ribs - burnt. Other 4 meals were fine.
We've been coming here for years. Never disappointed. First time I reserved a table online. So easy! Will do so again. Thank you for a lovely experience.
A wonderful place for lunch. Food is always of a high quality.
Greek ribs were awesome as usual!! We love this neighbourhood restaurant . We go for the greek ribs and we leave happy and full!
Great place. Server very friendly and helpful. Will come again.
Had to go find a server. Food was quite ordinary. Below their standards.
a friend and I met for brunch and were sure all would be well and the food was delicious and the service attentive but not rushed.
