Went to the Manor Oktoberfest with the family and we had a good time. The food and portions were good and the pricing was reasonable. Tap beers selection was fine and beer was nice and cold. Will return in the future.
Service was just adequate. It took over 5 minutes for someone to come to the desk to seat us.
An enjoyable time was had by us. the food ,the service and the whole experience was great. We will for sure make THE MANOR a place to go for a good meal .
Great food and great service!
The food was amazing, great authentic German food. Great service highly recommended.
Excellent food and huge portions.
Restaurant informed us of problem with OT overbooking reservations and didn't have ours, but were able to accommodate 2 people. Please investigate. Excellent restaurant!
Spent New Years Eve here. Fantastic time. Food was creative , hearty and served HOT ! Excellent service , great band. Welcoming staff including hostess with the mostest Joana , great smile. Owner Mark , aimed to please, as always , and did a bang-up job .
The food and service were amazing!!
Very popular place with my family and friends. Casual atmosphere. The drinks are great with a large selection. The beer is high quality and the food is delicious and always consistent. Portions are large. Waiting service treats you like part of the family and you are never rushed. Fun place to have dinner.
The 5 of us all decided to have the schnitzel and we all enjoyed it. Generous servings, tasty and delicious. We also had the pieroges and potato pancakes which were also good. Patrick was our server and he was friendly and attentive.
Friendly service, good food. Try the coconut shrimp, they are to die for.
Went to lunch on Saturday. Had a wonderful lunch. Yummy selections, excuited very well! Wait staff was professional with a lovely spirit. Great find!
My wife and I really enjoy eating at this restaurant. The food is always good and the goulash soup is excellent. The portions are huge we could never finish but leftovers are still great the next day.
The server was friendlyand most accomodating to our group celebrating my friend's birthday. Food was wel prepared and generous portions. Overall top-notched restaurant in the heart of Queens. Great value, don't tell anyone:-)lol
Always a wonderful selection of German food! Always friendly and the food is delicious.
Once again this neighborhood mainstay shines. Great food, comfortable setting and excellent, friendly service. Big thank you to Patrick for being so patient with our erratic timing.
We love the the place. The food is delicious and the service is great, BUT the band was way too loud. We couldn't hear each other talk or even hear the waiter. We went there last Oktoberfest and it was worse. Our whole table sat there miserable and couldn't wait to leave. Please have them lower the volume. Besides enjoying the delicious food, we also want to have a conversation.
Love Oktoberfest. Celebrated a friend's birthday. Two of the people had never been there and loved it! I will keep coming back....Waitress was totally wonderful. She should give lessons to some other waitresses around town!
The food was good, but the Jagerschnitzle was a little of overcooked as was brautwurst and knockwurst.
I did not care for the chocolate cake at all - very, very dry and almost a little burnt tasting.
The beer was fresh and cold
We always have a great time at Mano Oktoberfest. The food is very tasty, the waitstaff very knowledgeable about the menu and great ambiance. A real winner.
Waitress took our cue and brought a piece of cake with a candle for our birthday girl.
Great service and delicious food!
Manor Oktoberfest always has great food. The waitresses are attentive and help explain the menu choices. Restaurant filled up as we sat there. They also have delicious sandwiches too.
Fun atmosphere, food is great and service was very attentive during our lunch.
Made a reservation on the spot and they took us in right away. The place was full and both Yankees and Mets were playing on the screens. Came here with my buddies for the bacon. It is so damn good. We tend to fight for the last pieces. Our server, Joanna, was a delight. She always has a smile on her face, and it is welcoming and makes you want to order more. She also leaves you alone to enjoy your food. She has a good pace to check in on the table. I felt bad...there are 2 girls running the tables and they work really hard and still manage to keep a smile. I praise them for how hard they work. We order quite a few things. Including bacon...crab cakes, perogies, flank steak, 2 types of weiner schnitzel. All were good. We also ordered quite a bit of beer. My 2 buddies ordered the Boot which holds 2 liters of beer. It's only Sheffenhofer so it only has 2.5% alcohol. The NBA playoffs came on and we stayed for majority of the game. Besides us having a good time, I can say Joanna was really nice and took good care of us. She is very thoughtful of what is good to order as well. She is a good reason to return to Oktoberfest.
Food was outstanding...authentic...waiter was nice but not very good.
Loved the sauerbraten, potato pancakes and apple strudel!!!
The best sauerbraten I have had in many years!!! My husband loved the jaegerschnitzel too!!! The apple strudel is a must have!
My new favorite restaurant ❤
The pretzel appetizer with Beer cheese was worth the calories!
Food was good, wait staff was attentive and personable; good overall experience!
Fun Place! Great Crowd! Attentive Staff! Good Music - A great local German-American band, Die Schlauberger, were playing at the time of my most recent visit! Great Music, while dining on Great Food, surrounded by friendly, engaging people! I love to confidently bring my friends to Manor Oktoberfest for a good time! Always a Crowd Pleaser!
Always a good meal. Have celebrated birthdays, and special occasions with my family and always good choices and plenty to eat and drink. Would recommend this restaurant to anyone who wants a good meal and exceptional service.
Always a good experience when we go to this restaurant! Food is excellent. I highly recommend the Krainer wurst, creamed spinach, pickled vegetables, and of course you must have a Schöfferhofer grapefruit wheat beer!
You can never be disappointed at Manor. From the moment you walk in, the receptionists are smiling and friendly. To the left is the long bar and small tables, and ti the right is the dining area with large booths included. Suzie was our server tonight and did a very nice job. Even tho she had to take care a few tables by herself most of the time. My buddy and I ordered the Black forest bacon, and we shared a porterhouse for 2. On Wednesday, the have a $5 for a liter of the chosen beer. Tried the Hofbrau and special and they were both nice, _. You could have used a butter knife to cut it. We also ordered the mac and cheese and the spaztle. Both were delicious. It was.not too busy, and we really enjoyed our meal.
Manor Oktoberfest of Forest Hills is a wonderful place to eat. The food is delicious, the staff is very attentive and it's a casual restaurant. I would recommend Manor Oktoberfest to friends and family!
The pork shank wings are very good.
What's not to love about this place? Food goooood. Beer amazing!!! This place is very good whether you're going to sit down at the bar for the beer on tap or for lunch with a group of friends . Highly recommend this place to any beer lovers.
I've been there before with my husband. This time I was with friends for a gals night out. I was disappointed in the amount of gravy, and the home fries were dry, burnt and hard. I left them on the plate hoping someone in the kitchen would see they weren't eaten and why, but either they didn't notice or didn't care. I could've asked for different ones but it was just easier to push them aside.
Good food and good prices!
This place is in a remote part of forest hills quite some distance from the main strip. After finding it, you are thankful it is remote as there isn't a big crowd at the restaurant (if you go early). I took my girlfriend here for a birthday lunch and it was a wonderful experience, the food was simple, some burgers and veggie stuff, she liked it, my bacon burger was massive with a huge bacon slice and their wasabi sauce was fresh and went well with the fries. The selection of beer was comparable to some brewery's that I have been to, the German draft beer the waitress recommended was tasty it with a crisp slight hop and i hate hoppy beer. When I told the waitress that it was my dates birthday she offered to sing happy birthday but I told her just a candle would suffice and she made it happen, after dinner she brought a cheesecake with a single candle no music as requested. When we were leaving the place looked like it was filling up for the evening as there was a live band setting up and a many of the tables were filled, I expect this place to be even better at night. Overall this place was everything I expect and more out of a quality restaurant and I will definitely being going back in the future.
