About Manoli's Pizza Company
Manoli's Pizza Company was created with family in mind.
My father, Manoli Placourakis, was born in 1925 and raised on the largest of all the Greek Islands, Crete...where the weather and water are beautiful year-round, where seafood, vegetables, and fruit are plentiful and where the bread, cheese and wine are all handcrafted, the old fashioned way. Rhonda and I are raising our son, named after my father and born on Maui in 2004, on a beautiful island with similar qualities to my father's birthplace. This leads us to Manoli's Pizza Company. Our fare here at Manoli's is centered on fresh, organic, and sustainable products whenever possible in crafting all of our pizzas, salads, and even when choosing the wines on our list. Manoli's is where healthful, flavorful foods and beverages come together in a place where friends and family meet.
As 'big Manoli' used to say,
"Treat your friends like family and your family like friends".

Manoli's Pizza Company Ratings and Reviews
The food was good, but it took an hour for us to get our food. The wait was just too long. The pizza was great, but I would be nervous to go back because the wait was so long. The waiter was nice and brought my daughter's food out first. That saved the day. She would've melted down if she had to wait an hour to eat.
If you're looking for a laid back vibe, good pizza, nice view (over golf course and peekaboo of ocean) and excellent service, without breaking the bank in Wailea, Manolis is a great choice. Then manager Steven was incredibly kind, thoughtful and generous with our three year old daughter on our visit. He is great with kids. He even asked us if he could bring her some ice cream (we appreciated that he asked first), gratis! Our server (sorry forgot her name!) was also excellent and very personable. We'll definitely be back on our next visit to Maui!
While on vacation in Wailea, we chose Manoli's as a last minute option because it was close to our hotel and had patio seating. We were so impressed! The house salad with lavender vinaigrette was amazing and so fresh. The pizza had a wonderful thin, authentic Italian crust. And both the Bolognese and spagehtti with meatballs had great flavor. Generous portions and reasonable prices. Get there before sunset to have a drink on the patio-great views and a very lively atmosphere. Would definitely recommend.
After many expensive good meals in Maui we finally found a reasonably priced, good quality meal with great service and ambience. It is for the pizza, pasta, beer, casual crowd but fine for families and with good outdoor view. We enjoyed it very much and would recommend.
Made a reservation, arrived. With many tables empty, we were offered seats at the bar. Declined, finally were offered a table. Then we ordered a pizza, which when it arrived was incorrect. They replaced the pizza with a correct one, and then billed me for the whole meal. Even on vacation I find this type of behavior discourteous, and a disastrous approach to customer satisfaction. My advice: find somewhere else in Kihei to enjoy a pizza. These folks don't care a hoot about you.
Several of the people in my party got sour stomachs after eating. Food was not fresh and tomatoes looked like they were from a can, chicken breast was dry and my young daughter could not eat her pizza because the cook for some reason decided to put red pepper flakes on everything! Terrible terrible terrible food, very disappointed as it was my husband's birthday.
Food was not very good. Service was not very good. There is a kids menu but we were not given one even though we had a 9 year old with us. We ended up paying more for a pasta dish he barely ate. I asked for a child's potion and I still was not offered a kids menu yet every other kid in the restaurant had one. The server never came back to just us us, ask us if we were enjoying our meal or offer us anything else to drink. It was not a busy night.
We did not enjoy this experience and we will not be back.
Our family was excited to try Manoli's. We all love pizza and it was possible to receive gluten free options. Our service was very good, but our food was not. The pizzas, both the regular and gluten free, were dry and over cooked. There was very little sauce on either and it was like eating a cracker. We asked our server for a side of pomodoro sauce and she did ask about the pizza. I told her it was very dry and she apologized. We did not ask for any discounts or to see a manager, but when we asked for our check, our server informed us they had taken off one of the pizzas. To be honest, they should have taken off both. It was so bad that our family of four barely ate the pizza. I won't return here. It was disappointing.
Dinner at Manoli's was one of the family's better meals during our Hawaiian vacation. Location was super convenient to the Grand Wailea. Atmosphere is casual with great views of golf course and a partial ocean view (over resorts/shopping roof tops). Pricing is very reasonable for the Wailea resort area. Calamari appetizer was the best which we have had in Hawaii (5 stars). My son loved the lasagna and gave it 5 stars. The Chicken Scallopini and Chicken Parmesan were good (4 stars). The house dessert, the Holy Manoli, is amazing; it consists of an oversized fresh baked cookie, vanilla ice cream, hot fudge, caramel and Oreo cookie crumbs - 5 stars. Service was excellent. Most of the entrees (except pizza?) includes garlic toast so there is no need to order this as an appetizer. Overall 4.5 stars.
First time there. It was very warm in the dinning area until the shades went up and allowed a breeze through. The server was very nice and attentive, but it seemed to take a while for the meals to be served. Not very impressed with the pizza as the crusts were slightly overcooked and very crunchy. Some of the other entrees were good but not outstanding in any way. Had hoped for more here.
As you arrive you will be pleased with the open air environment of this restaurant. The dining room overlooks a golf course. We arrived for happy hour and enjoyed appetizers and drinks before our meal. All the choices where good but coconut shrimp was the favorite.
The pizza choices are all unique. The best was the Personal Trainer it had a little bit of everything and tasted terrific. They do let you split the pizza with two sets of toppings so you can try two even if you just get on pizza.
The staff was friendly and welcoming. I highly recommend.
We had a great lunch here. The pizza was crispy and had great flavor. Was visiting the island and coming from a pizza town, this rates to a favorite or mine. The view of the golf coarse was great. I would consider this restaurant a nice casual place to go, kick back have a few beers and hang with friends. It's a nice bar/ restaurant feel.
Great place and great food!
Our server was awesome! but we did go at a time when it wasn't busy.
We had 4 kids with us. A bunch of toddlers and a nine year old and this place was perfect for all of our dining needs.
Mahalo for a great experience!
We'll be back next time we're in Maui
