Manoli's Pizza Company
My father, Manoli Placourakis, was born in 1925 and raised on the largest of all the Greek Islands, Crete...where the weather and water are beautiful year-round, where seafood, vegetables, and fruit are plentiful and where the bread, cheese and wine are all handcrafted, the old fashioned way. Rhonda and I are raising our son, named after my father and born on Maui in 2004, on a beautiful island with similar qualities to my father's birthplace. This leads us to Manoli's Pizza Company. Our fare here at Manoli's is centered on fresh, organic, and sustainable products whenever possible in crafting all of our pizzas, salads, and even when choosing the wines on our list. Manoli's is where healthful, flavorful foods and beverages come together in a place where friends and family meet.
As 'big Manoli' used to say,
"Treat your friends like family and your family like friends".

Great pizza just a short walk from the Marriott Wailea Beach Resort. Brody was our server and he delivered excellent service. Fun atmosphere at the bar if you are looking for that. We were there with family of four and had a nice table near the bar but essentially on the patio so it was great. We split the Hawaiian Honey pizza and the “Raging Bull” so we got to try two very good pizzas. I love when pizza places do that and don’t charge extra. It’s a thin crust pizza so you can knock out two pizzas with a family of four. Our kids are boring so they split a cheese pizza. Overall, great pizza, friendly staff, and nice place to have dinner. Reservations required for dine-in.
Pizza reminded me of that cardboard stuff you get in grade school, salad was good and desert good. Our waitress was great. Just pizza not so good
Love this restaurant. Open air with great views over the Wailea Blue golf course and ocean beyond. The thin crust pizza is expertly prepared and the chicken piccata is fantastic. My only negative is that I ordered a Manhattan and it was the only thing that disappointed me. It was watered down and the glass barely half full. I’d much prefer the bar would charge a little more and serve a decent drink. Maybe I just caught the bartender on an off night.
Weird that a restaurant with "pizza" in the name, doesn't serve pizza for lunch. On top of that, it tasted much like frozen pizza. Won't go back for pizza.
Dirty dishes, pizza was bland.
Great place with a beautiful view! Lots of open air and very pleasant ambiance. Our pizza was delicious, thin crust. Nice casual restaurant for the whole family.
Great location and awesome pizza!
We had a high top table reserved because that was all I could get at the time. However we had our 8year old so preferred a table. When we arrived they let us switch to a table. I was surprised by their kind attitude and accommodation. They had gluten free pizza options which is great for me personally. And a kids meal option with drink and desert to please the little one. The gold course views were pleasant and the service was stellar. The prices were moderate (for Maui) We will be coming back!
The food was good but super expensive, no sides come with your meal, the eggs Benedict had no potatoes and the fish tacos have a side of marinara sauce,,,, it should have been chips and salsa. Not bad food but there should have been more of it.
They were only serving from the lunch menu when we visited, so we ordered a burger, a salad, fries, hummus with pita, and some wings. The food was yummy and the view was even better!
The service was very good, but even though it was an open air (patio) venue, it was very noisy, with loud music and boisterous people at the bar.
As an Italian-American, I thought the pizza we ordered was just so-so in flavor, though ingredients were fresh and crust was good.
I was surprised that, advertising as an Italian restaurant, they do not offer one of the flagship dishes of Italian food: the Margherita pizza. I would have "constructed" my own but the menu was missing one of the key ingredients: basil. At least, I didn't see it on the menu of ingredients to add.
A caesar salad however was very good.
We do not plan on going there again.
Food was ok. Ran out of pineapples for the pineapple pizza and we didn’t know until our pizza came out with no pineapple. No offer to fix it or get us something else. Also, how do you run out of pineapples in Hawaii?!? Anyway, it was fine, not great.
The staff was so warm and welcoming, our hostess got us a fabulous table, and our server Amber was outgoing and friendly.
If I could give it negative stars I would. The service is the worst I have ever had at any restaurant
Our food took over an hour and half and when it did show up it wasn’t even good
Pizza was pretty disappointing. Great happy hour prices though. Tree Hugger bowl was ok.
We made reservations several weeks ahead of our trip to Maui and were looking forward to the pizza.
When we arrived, we were happy to see the restaurant was open air. The hostess asked if we would prefer an inner table available immediately or wait about 10 minutes for a table along the railing with a view of the golf course. We asked to wait, and they offered to have us go to bar.
Right as the table we were waiting for opened up, a couple wandered in through the bar without a reservation and asked for a table. The staff member indicated the bar area that was open but they didn’t want any of those available options. They wanted to sit at the railing. The staff member, not the hostess, let them wander over to our table and seated them.
We overheard the bartender telling another staff member that the situation shouldn’t have happened. However, no one stopped the other couple, including the hostess. Nor did she or anyone else apologize or acknowledge that they gave away our table. In fact, the hostess walked by us 4 times and avoided eye contact until we called her over. She then led us to a table at the outside area next to the men’s bathroom and acted like that was her intention all along.
This probably all sounds nit picky, but after making advanced reservations, and then being ignored is rude and unacceptable. The hostess could have acknowledged the issue, apologized and maybe offered us a glass of wine on the house or something.
As for the food the pizza was decent. Not a lot of options on the menu. Wine a bit overpriced but it’s Wailea, so not a surprise.
Would I go there again? Nope. The staff is either untrained on how to handle situations, or don’t care, and we’ll spend our $ elsewhere.
Ordered pizza. Took over an hour and 20 minutes.
Then when it came it wasn’t hot. It was warm
Watch out for Mai Tais they come with what
Looks like whipped cream on top. Some kind
Of coconut froth. Disgusting.
Pizza place that doesn't have pizza during lunch. Over priced. Very small lunch menu. Disappointing.
Loved our visit to Manoli’s! Highly recommended the shrimp pesto pizza and the Plack salad!
Great pizza and drinks.
Vacationing in Maui and having to tolerate the overpriced and underwhelming resort food this was a pleasant respite from our visit. Having made reservations though Open Table, we were seated almost immediately at a great table overlooking the golf course. Amber was our server and she was great. She was very friendly and professional, and was attentive without being overbearing. I was jonesin’ for a good burger but they delivered a great burger instead. Cooked to perfection, and with the bacon jam and crispy onions it struck the perfect balance. Great place and I would highly recommend it.
Average food but they weren’t serving their pizza so tough to give an accurate review.
After waiting far past our reservation our family of four was seated by the hostess at a tiny bar table that had no hopes of holding our food. When our waiter brought our food over he moved us to a normal sized table. The pizza was very starchy and bland. The menu is extremely limited. It’s connected to a golf course so if you take that into consideration you won’t be surprised that it’s not fine dining. Good drinks though.
Best thin crust on the island and great service
Unfortunately this place was a huge disappointment! Food was terrible! Salad was warm and pizza undercooked. Don’t waste your money or your time in beautiful Maui going to Manoli’s!!
Inattentive waitress, slow service, cold food.
This was one of the best pizzas I have had in along time. Dave Portnoy needs to try this pizza I think he would love it.
Mahalo nui for the excellent service and “ono” food. Wē had a great time!
Lovely restaurant, friendly service and good food - highly recommend!
Beautiful location and some of the best thin crust I’ve ever had.
The pizza was not good. The crust was similar to cardboard and the sauce was almost nonexistent.
Thin crust crispy pizza, my fave! Great service by Amber!
Great outdoor dining! The pizza was terrific and the service nice.
Service and ambience were great. Unfortunately, the food was pretty bland. Pizza could be comparable to a frozen pizza .. thin crust and toppings didn’t appear fresh. Salad was bland and dry. Really a bummer because it’s such an awesome location and vibe
Great friendly service. Delicious food & the Margaritas were on point.
Waitress was nice but didn’t seem well trained or attentive. First order of fried shrimp was raw. 2nd order tasted like they had been frozen. No comps or anything offered or even a visit by the manager after we consumed raw shrimp. These would be fine for what I would get in the Midwest, but lacking for less than a mile from the beach in Maui. Hawaiian pizza was really good...great crust. Kids pepperoni had too much sauce and was greasy...but my son ate it all so clearly that’s just my preference!
Fantastic food, kindest staff! 10/10
Food has changed a bit, smaller portions and smaller menu. I guess it is to be expected. Service was great.
Pizza was great. Holy Manoli was a real treat.
