We've driven by here a hundred times and never paid attention. It's a tiny place with old-school Italian and, more recently, Greek standards. The red gravy (aka marinara) is the real deal. The atmosphere is animated - would be noisier if it were bigger. Diners were happy. We saw numerous folks carrying out pizzas. And there's parking!
We went there for a special family event - and had a great time. The service was wonderful - and the food was great. It was well seasoned, ample, hot and not at all greasy. I very nice ambiance and plenty of parking. Great place.
Great food, generous portions, attentive service. Go hungry when in the mood for comfort food. Plenty of parking out back. Excellent value.
Wonderfully nice people and fresh tasty food. Family owned and run. Both Greek food and Italian food dishes were good.
If it’s possible for service to be too fast, this was it. Our server came to take our drink order a few minutes after we were seated. When we ordered our meal at the same time, we didn’t expect it would all be served at once. Our server came back about 5 minutes with our drinks and meals. The food was delicious as usual but we were done and on our way in 35 minutes. A bit fast for a Saturday night out.
Neighborhood easy location away from the crowded Bethesda streets. Super friendly & consistently good
Excellent great value
Delicious food and service with a smile. The owner really cares about his customers and it shows in his food and his service. I would definitely come back again and again.

A wonderful friendly place to dine with authentic, fair priced food. The aim of this gem is to please.
Reliably good, consistently yummy, neighborhood gem.
Great Italian/Greek hybrid menu. Their baklava is the best I've ever tasted. Nikos runs the front of the house and is always fun.
Fabulous experience! Took a group of 3 families with kids. The good was great, for both adults and kids. The wine was great, the staff was great. Will definitely do it again!
Superb — service, food, everything. Well worth the hassle of parking.
The eggplant parmesan was very tasty but the chicken parmesan wasn't made well. The chicken was overly breaded as were the crab cakes we saw at other tables. The side salad was basically all lettuce; the cesar salad was better. The bread was good. We thought the service was great and as first time visitors, we were given a free dessert which was excellent. Neighborhood vibe which was great.
Always friendly, warm service; flavorful Italian and Greek basics.
We visit the DC area several times a month, and were looking for a place just off the Beltway near Kensington. This combination of Italian and Greek fare sounded intriguing, so we gave it a try. What a find! Pasta made fresh daily, their own bread and olive oil, delicious and reasonably priced entrees, and baklava to die for. Family owned and operated--skip the chain bistros and try Manoli Cannoli.
Just a convenient place in the neighborhood. The food isn't anything special BUT The Baklava is to die for!
We are big fans. We like the pizzas, super salad, and meatball sub. I usually pick up a frozen lasagna and eggplant parm for my freezer on the way out.
The spinach and goat cheese ravioli with walnut sauce was fabulous! My husband had the veal and loved it too. But... the canoli was worth the drive.
We had a very relaxed and well-paced meal on the patio- which is basically an expanded sidewalk not far from a busy road. The noise was not that bad overall from the cars whizzing by, but you forgot about them after a while. The food (pizza, olives, fresh mozzarella, etc.) was really really good- very special detail and care went into the producrtion of everything. The Manoli Canoli olive oil was not special however with a very mild and non-memorable flavor. This was potentially very helpful to not drowned out the awesome flavors from the mozz or pizza with artichokes and mushrooms.
Great service & outstanding food in this small restaurant...wouldn't want it any bigger because it would lose its "family" feeling.
Cold Food. Not enough service staff.
Great spanakopita and grilled salmon special. Servers and staff were so kind and welcoming.
Terrific food and outstanding service. Perfect! Highly-recommended.
Wasn't sure what to expect when we first walked into to this undescript small restaurant and the. We were blown away by the hospitality and unbelieveable great food! The lamb chops were awesome and the shrimp was just like when we were Mykonos. The wine he recommended was perfect! Definitely would go back.
A great local eatery offering authentically delicious Italian and Greek dishes. Professionally prepared and served. The humble environment belies the terridic food and reasonably priced wine and spirits. We have been driving by this place for years. So glad we finally tried it.
Very pleasant staff, attentive, helpful. Very good meal
The food is fresh and delicious and the service always friendly and attentive. I go there often and have never been disappointed. Great value
Awesome flavor! Very authentic! Try the bruschetta!
Ate here after a visit to the Chevy Chase Library. Our party of four had chicken souvlaki (2), gyros and mushroom ravioli. Attentive service, great food! We will be back!
We took a break from babysitting the grandson and returned to this small restaurant in a strip of stores next to a Starbucks. Easy parking in the rear. If you are looking for fancy this is not the place. Good food, good-sized portions and a great variety of Greek and Italian dishes will be found. And I heard the canollis are also very good but after salad, glass of wine and eggplant I was full. My dining partner said the moussakka was excellent. If you are looking for a casual, quick dinner this is an excellent choice along Conencticut Avenue in Chyevy Chase.
Delicious food, server was attentive, nice Valentine's dinner!
We love Manoli Canoli. The staff is attentive and friendly. The food is delicious--particularly the eggplant parmesan and tzatziki. My sons who are busy medical students love their frozen prepared foods. Be sure to try their olive oil which the owner produces himself on his property in Greece. Manoli Canoli is a real gem!
It was extraordinarily noisy, kind of diner like level. I had the eggplant parm, not good, greasy and rather tasteless, I normally like the skin on eggplant, but this was chewy....not sure when the casserole was put together. The calamari was delicious, lightly breaded. Our grandkids 3 and 41/2 liked the pizza, crust was cracker thin, not my fav but....My husband had been pasta and meatballs, said meatballs didn't have much flavor. Perhaps we should have ordered the Greek specialities ? Anyway, wanted to love it.
a great place to eat, good food, good staff, fair prices, had a good time with a good girl...
Had a birthday lunch after church there with a group of 10. Was perfect as was not busy, had a nice table set up and waiting for us, and could easily carry out conversations that whole table could hear. Food was good, reasonably priced, variety of Greek and Italian choices. Service was excellent as there were also few other customers and they were very gracious because it took a while for our whole party to arrive. Will definitely keep in mind for future gatherings. Am sure level of busyness varies a lot along with noise level.
I have passed this place many times but never stopped in. We went on Saturday night and had a great meal. Their bruschetta is fantastic and they made fresh mozzarella every day. I had the special of scallops and shrimp over pasta with a lemon sauce and it was excellent, my girlfriend had the lobster ravolli's and they also were very tasty.
I recommend you give them a try. The wait staff was also spot on and brought us two pieces of mozzarella to try, loved it.
Great service but the food was just sub-par. Listed as a Italian/Greek restaurant but the menu was heavy Italian with a few Greek options. Not sure that we would try this place again unfortunately.
