Great food, but very noisy and in a very tight space. All of our meals have been excellent.
I've been going to Mani since it opened when I was a student at UofM. It's a can't miss destination whenever I return to Ann Arbor. The outstanding pizzas with sublime crust is just the tip of this delicious iceberg. Whether sitting at the bar watching the artisans at work in front of their always busy ovens, or enjoying the bright, elevated dining room, Mani is one of the finest food experiences in town.
Good food, fun spot
Great food and staff. Can’t wait to go back!
Great atmosphere and unique dishes to share.
The food was excellent, hot and fast. The wait staff was friendly and helpful with a big group and 3 kids. We were comfortable and able to converse throughout the meal, the noise level was fine. Could make a meal from just appetizers, but we ordered lots more and everything was great.
It is a good spot for inviting visiting friends or relatives. We have 6 people at lunch during the restaurant week, it is very convenient for me to reserve the table online, and the price is very feasible. The only thing that interrupted us was that there was a table with 10ish people having party who talked and laughed really loud. However, it was understandable and overall, the experience at Mani was joyful.
It was nice . Salads and pizza delicious. They need gluten free options
Pizzas used to be better . The red onion and goat cheese was good but not as good as I remembered. Service was outstanding!
Always consistently good food. Great service. Changing up the menu is interesting and food choices always tasty.
Probably one of the most condescending waitress I’ve ever had. The “Tartufo Pizza” doesn’t have black truffles on it, maybe truffle oil but definitely not truffles. I’ve been to Italy numerous times, I’ve never had a “Tuscan Steak” with deep fried onion rings on it. Not really Italian.
Great food and great service for our group of six.
Always the best! Every time we visit, it’s the first reservation made.
Food was excellent and our server Eddie was outstanding!
We went for Sunday brunch and really enjoyed our meals. One of the best bloody Mary's around. Mani is a cute place for a date or a celebration dinner. I've been plenty of times and will definitely be back.
Great spot with delicious food and drink. Expensive but far better than most other restaurants in Ann Arbor.
Food was good as always. Definitely is a little overpriced, but you expect that when you’re in the Ann Arbor area. Overall very happy.
OK dining experience. Service was good. Irritated that there was an up charge for whipped mozzarella cheese on the pizza. Dining companions from out-of-town said pizza was tasty but not worth the cost. I was embarrassed.
The food was great as was the service. It is a very noisy restaurant however so probably not the best for older people
We were seated next to the bus stand so it was extra noisy but the hostess was really nice about moving us to a quieter table so that was appreciated!
Great food and service.
We were last at Mani’s for Sunday brunch. It was great. Shrimp and grits— yum, Caesar salad - excellent with special presentations of a soft boiled egg fried in crouton bread crumbs. Bacon and egg panini, and the variation of eggs Benedict done exactly as ordered (lightly poached, well done English muffin). The restaurant is attractive and lively. I’m looking forward to going back. By the way their pizzas are a delight.
We sat outside and had a lovely lunch with colleagues celebrating a birthday.
We will definitely return the next time we are in Ann Arbor.
Excellent pizza! Outside tables looked enticing but first member of our party chose to dine inside so that's where we were. Difficult to hear people at other end of table due to noise level but it would not dissuade me from a future visit.
Great dinner! Food is fresh, authentic Italian. The Sangria is amazing!
Mani's ALWAYS delivers a great meal! The Branzino is to die for! Calamari app is the best. ENJOY!
We had 3 pizzas and one appetizer for four people which worked well. Nice cocktail list. Each pizza had a fan so almost not important to review. All were well made and the key ingredients came out. The octopus appetizer was really nice. Tender octopus is hard to do and this was tender and flavorful. Really nice meal. Remarkably not expensive so best value in Ann Arbor.
Terrific dinner with family. Loved the roasted eggplant spread.
Went here for the first time to meet up with some friends. Definitely lives up to the hype. The steak tartare nearly killed me it was so good.
“Ran out of Bucatini.” Waitress later comes back and states they now have it; then 15 mins later after ordering the bucatini reaffirms they’re out of it. Gemelli substitution was raw and doughy. Cocktails left much to be desired.
Great food that changes regularly to use fresh ingredients. Our server was amazing but i can't remember her name. She made great suggestions and everything was spot on.
Luckily the food was excellent as always because the service was not. Our server was very inattentive. My daughter’s breakfast came a good ten minutes after the rest of our food arrived. When we were finally able to flag down our server, her response was that the food is brought as it is prepared and that the breakfast sandwich took more time. No apology. Also did not make sense to us that it would take that much longer than other dishes. The food will bring us back but if service is still as bad , it will be the last time.
Great food and great service -- every time and you can't beat the bottomless mimosas for brunch!
One of my very favorite restaurants. Each dish is prepared for the person at the time -- no sitting around under a lamp. Imaginative cuisine - Italian, with flair. The pizzas are superb. But I usually order pasta and salad. Amazing salads (the Caesar is my favorite, but they are all good). Really nice wine selections. Overall attention to customers is excellent.
Had lunch there
Wonderful overall experience
Service and food were phenomenal
A hit and miss experience... there were a few impressive dishes(salad, ribs), but the fritters and calamari was a let down... and both me and my husband had stomach ache after the dinner, but I will likely not attend this place very soon...
Great appetizers- all 4 were delicious. Had three different pizzas and all were outstanding. The three pasta dishes were completely finished and there was only praise. Negroni’s and beer selection were great. The cannolis for fresh and delicious. Service was perfect.
Good food, fairly good service. Definitely on the pricey side with dinner for 4 with 2 rounds of drinks topping 200 bucks!
