About Mani Osteria
WHO WE ARE
We are an independently owned, family friendly restaurant, specializing in artisanal pizzas and creative Italian dishes prepared in wood-burning ovens. We believe that when you dine out your experience should be fun, and our style of service sets that tone. Our menu is composed of small plates designed to be shared with your family and friends.
We take advance reservations for parties of 6 or more. Please note that not all of our large tables are displayed online, so please contact us to check for additional availability. We will do all we can to accommodate your group. As a convenience, for parties with fewer than 6 guests, call us when you are 20 minutes away and we will gladly add your name to our Guest List. If there is a wait, you will be guaranteed a place on the Guest List at the time of your call. Unfortunately, we are able to hold your place on the list for only 20 minutes.

Mani Osteria Ratings and Reviews
One of my very favorite restaurants. Each dish is prepared for the person at the time -- no sitting around under a lamp. Imaginative cuisine - Italian, with flair. The pizzas are superb. But I usually order pasta and salad. Amazing salads (the Caesar is my favorite, but they are all good). Really nice wine selections. Overall attention to customers is excellent.
Great appetizers- all 4 were delicious. Had three different pizzas and all were outstanding. The three pasta dishes were completely finished and there was only praise. Negroni’s and beer selection were great. The cannolis for fresh and delicious. Service was perfect.
Really enjoyed our first visit to Mani Osteria. Fun, interesting, creative choices designed for sharing worked out great for our group of 8. Service was attentive throughout the meal, though I had to remind them to give me our leftovers. Unfortunately, too noisy for us to visit with half of the group.
I've been to Mani many times, but have to put their $28 Restaurant Week dinner among the best values in town. Two courses of individual small plates off their current menu, followed by a split-for-two-people pizza, followed by pistachio and chocolate cannoli. A few dishes stood out: the smoked eggplant dip and cucumber crab soup among them, while everything else hit their usual high standard. We arrived during an off-hour and were showered with attention by a skilled, personable server. The ambience started quietly but rose to Mani's normal buzzy level by the time we were finishing up.
Found the restaurant through mlives best MI pizza list 2 years ago. Had to try it for my birthday because of my love of great pizza. The food doesn't disappoint! Very tasty. They use the best ingredients and the resulting flavor is incredible. Last year we had a chef salad and 2 pizzas. This year we had the pork belly and some other pizzas. The taste of the pork belly was good but I wouldn't get it again. It was very very expensive and you only get a tiny little sliver. My favorite pizza we had was ham picante. Just the right amount of spicy and amazing flavor on the ham. My biggest complaint is the ridiculous reservation policy. Minimum party of 5. If you're not in a party of 5 you have to wait til you're 20 mins away to call ahead. They also really need more space. The tables are crammed in making you feel like a sardine. The lack of space makes it very loud and difficult to carry on a conversation with your table. Overall I enjoyed going.
We enjoyed the prixe fixed menu for New Years Eve. Two members of our group were allergic to shrimp, but they could not substitute that item from the fixed menu (even though they were offering the regular menu). This was discouraging and should be considered as many people are allergic to shellfish!
Otherwise we had a great meal and wonderful cocktails!
