An outstanding restaurant with great food and ambience.
Our party of 4 arrived for dinner and as soon as we walked in the door the smell of more exhaust system was noticeable. Hopefully, the issue can be addressed soon. Mango is one of our favorite restaurants. Every dinner or lunch we have had there has been amazing.
This is a good local restaurant, yesterday’s visit was interesting. When I asked about Happy Hour Cocktails I was told that those were only available for folks at the bar! There was not a sign of any hand sanitizers anywhere. The server’s hands were perilously close to rims of beverage glasses.
Great food. Great staff. All around a wonderful experience.
Lovely experience and great Peruvian food... Excellent service.
Food was delicious and service was exceptional! Our family tried a couple different appetizers and various entrees and everything was very good.
Great service and food was really good
A lovely night, delicious food, drinks and service!!
Everything was great...except we were charged double the amount of cocktails consumed...found out too late and were running late for a show so we ate that overcharge...hopefully that is not an ongoing (deliberate) tactic of the female waitress...she seemed very nice...
Nice place to take your significant other. My wife and I have been to this establishment several times and the food and ambience has been great. Servers are friendly and you can hear yourself talk. The dress code is appropriate and you are not required to wear a jacket. Parking can get a little hectic at times. Even though we sat by a large plate glass window the room temperature was excellent for a winter day. Thanks for making our post Valentine's Day dinner a success. We will see you soon.
Arrived no host waited 5-10 mins
Seated another 10+ before water came
Made reservations and were sat by the front door
Server came no suggestions
Stop by 2 times in 30-45 mins while we waited for our food
Food was awesome
Service lacked for sure
Probably will not go back
The Peruvian meat flavoring was amazing. Sides and accompanying items were just OK (need a bit more pizazz/flavor). Comfortable atmosphere and hostess were great. Wait service was good, not great. A bit overpriced for what you get. But will recommend it.
Delicious food and very similar to the one in Peru! Absolutely worth going.
Best ceviche in town!
The spices and flavors are a real treat! Tried the Peruvian Malbec, and was surprised how good it was.
Great place. Highly recommended! Great accommodation for GLUTEN FREE food options—cooked in separate area!
Great food as always.
Great food and service can’t wait to go back
Great spot for a casual biz lunch - incredibly tasty.
Really good and authentic Peruvian food. Will return.
Excellent meal!! Sangria just right and both salads were superb. The quinoa one was interesting blend of textures and flavors. The cilantro salsa is delish!
LOVE the food and excellent service!! A great place to experience Peruivan food and enjoy downtown St. Louis.
We always enjoy Mango. The food is lovely, the drinks unusual and the service great.
Great place to have time with friends - terrific service, easily able to accommodate my various food sensitivities.
It was excellent!! The only disappointing part was the wine we ordered, on the menu was 2014vintage. What we hot was 2018 :(. ... No price adjustment!
Food was poor quality. I didn’t get all components of my meal until it was nearly time to leave. Food was overpriced for what it was. Bread that accompanied my mussels was stale.
Two words. Loma. Saltado. While in town for work, we found this place & have been there twice in three days. Service is a bit slow, but the food is well worth it.
I am from Peru and this the best Peruvian restaurant ever!
Food took a good 40 minutes to arrive and portions weren’t to big
Food was very good, our server was excellent. The noise level made it impossible for any conversation. The noise rating equated the noisiest with 'energetic' -- maybe a little less energy, please!
Mango never disappoints. We dine there frequently. Highlight for the evening was the Calamari appetizer with whitefish, onions, and cassava. I tried my first Malbec wine from Peru and it was reasonably good. Service by Tyler was very good. Always happy to recommend Mango.
My wife and I came to STL to celebrate our anniversary. Mango exceeded my expectations. They recognized us and the service excelled. Wife had the sautéed fish and had ceviche and plantains. Wow....
Food is terrific. If this place were in west county, you wouldn’t be able to get a table.
It was excellent Peruvian cuisine experience.
Jalea mixta appetizer was very good. The beef heart skewers were tough. Aji de Gallina was good, but a little on the bland side.
I’ve dined at Mango numerous times at this location and the prior location. Something was off this night. First though, the mussels were wonderful! We had a drink at the bar, Bartender was efficient but not welcoming. Server started enthusiastic then declined. A special was described as large then when we asked to split as an appetizer he said it was actually small, just larger than the regular. That’s fine, we had the mussels and they were great. Asked for his recommendation to have the mushroom dish with rice or pasta, he said he doesn’t eat that dish, but if we like pasta to get the pasta. Okay, thank you. The entree was served with rice. Oh, I thought we decided pasta based on your recommendation. Oh thought you said rice. He paused, I was waiting for him to offer to correct, which would have waited for, but he put the plate down and walked away. So rice it was! He did not return to the table to check in and when clearing the plates when we finished did not offer a box even though most of the entree was left uneaten. Again, usually have a great experience here just not a great experience this time.
The food & service is always outstanding at Mango Peruvian. My favorite Ceviche in town and I love the Paiche. I get it almost every time.
One of our favorite restaurants in St Louis. From the food to the service it’s a great dining experience.
Incredibly delicious and we had excellent service. Lovely ambiance. We enjoyed our amazing salmon special and always favorite Aji de Gallina. We’ve been here before and our dining experience was even better than we remembered. They serve lunch and dinner. Eat here - it’s great!
Visiting St. Louis on a business trip for an overnight. Mango was recommended and it did not disappoint. The complimentary Peruvian green sauce and plantains were a great way to begin the meal (I ate too much). For the main course, I was skeptical about ordering fish in the middle of the country; however the salmon special was terrific, as was the mushroom dish. On my next visit I will certainly be back. Thanks for a wonderful meal.
Wonderful surprise. Sounded good when we made reservation and it was!!! Love the cilantro and Plantan chips to start the meal. Salmon dish and beef dish were both outstanding. Glad we finished with classic Peruvian dessert. We had great service, good wine, and great food. - all equalling a wonderful meal and evening. Worth a visit if you’re in St. Louis and want to try something new!
