We ate at Mango a few years ago when they were in a smaller place, somewhat tucked off Washington. This new place is larger, with a great bar area, and plenty of space for diners. Nothing is cramped here.
The food is very good and is a great break from the usual "chic" food fare. Our server was attentive, quick, and friendly and took great care of us while dealing with a twelve-top.
It COULD use a more extensive wine-by-the-glass selection.
Fiance loved the table decorations and "Happy Anniversary" on the menu.
On Valentine's Day 2018 they ran out of duck confit before we got a chance to order. Disappointing. Service was fantastic however!
Amazing food, very slow service. Fixed menu for Valentine’s Day, took forever for the courses to come out. I want to go back because the food was very good. I really hope the service is better.
Valentines day 2018- Nice ambiance fantastic Pisco sour- Bartenders were frazzled- Food presentation and flavors were wonderful- Pacing was very slow- Restricted menu for the special occasion should have allowed the kitchen to flow much better-
If in St louis again I would consider a return visit- food quality and unique flavors are worth a return-0
We arrived on time for our reservation then had to wait 30 minutes for a table. Then we had to wait an hour in between courses, with little apology or acknowledgement and no offering of anything complimentary. The food was decent but not worth the price. The whole experience was disappointing and we won't be going back.
I really like the ambiance, along with a chance to sample Peruvian cuisine. Could get vegetarian options.
We greatly enjoyed our meals, and our waitress was very attentive. I had the lomo saltado and my friend had the aji de gallina and they were both completely delicious.
This was our second time visiting Mango, but this time my husband and I brought two other couples with us. Everyone was thoroughly impressed with the ambiance, the service and the meal!
Great dinner at Mango last weekend. We were celebrating my husband's birthday, and had a lovely time. Several of us had the mahi mahi special which was delicious. My husband apparently loved the birthday dessert - he did not share! Additionally we learned that they can accommodate Celiac's people, which is terrific.
The food was very good. It was a little hard to pick from the menu since we were not familiar with Peruvian food. The bus person was super helpful and nice. Better than the waitress. He kept checking on us and getting us more plantain chips and filling our water. Atmosphere is cool, and prices were not terrible expensive.
Delicious food. Good ambiance. Friendly and helpful service. Wish there are more vegan options in the menu.
Wonderful Peruvian food, Both my wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our meals. They were both delicious and a work of art.
Atmosphere was very pleasant, wait staff attentive and food excellent.
Awesome!!!!!! We have never had a poor experience!
Nice place for lunch. We did have a big group and service was excellent. Food took some time to arrive.
Great service and food. Lots of options. The desserts were excellent as well.
My family (including kids 13, 17, and 19). dined at Mango before seeing a show at the Fox Theater. The location was convenient and there was surface parking close by. The atmosphere was cool and the food was unique and very good. Portion size was large. We all agreed that we would definitely go back. Our server was super friendly. Very good experience!
Delicious. Try the beet salad and rather ceviches. Our server Wendy and the rest of staff provided great and friendly service. Remember the plantain chips and cilantro dip are gratis and delicious.
