Tasty! Warm and welcoming.
Overall, I can't help but summarize my wife and I's experience as completely disappointing. After being seated, my wife and I were offered water and then ignored for 15 minutes - even as we tried to signal one of the employees that we were ready to order. We ordered an appetizer and 2 simple entrees and then proceed to wait 30+ minutes for our food to arrive, except we never received the appetizer. We notified the server and he said that they would handle it immediately... the problem is that it was never handled at all. We finished our entree's and were delivered the bill, which included the appetizer that we never received. We again notified our server, who promptly agreed, apologized, and corrected the bill - which we signed and still tipped (even though the service received was very poor). At the time of writing this email, I can now confirm that they either illegally changed the tip amount that I offered or charged my credit card to include the appetizer that we never received ($10+). The food we did receive tasted great and was a phenomenal value for the area. Up until confirming that they had overcharged my card for the wrong amount, I had chalked up the atrocious service we received as an anomaly and was not going to leave a negative review as I felt it may not be completely justified - people make mistakes or have an off night. However, now I just feel like I was scammed.
The restaurant is a reasonably priced restaurant amid $75 steak restaurants. The food is good and has nice range of That dishes. Beer and wine only. The dining plates are very small. Service is acceptable with waiter sometimes hard to get a hold of. Would return
I love this place. The food is consistently delicious (my favorite is the Siamese Curry He has on the list of specials. The 8 element wraps make me happy.
Hands down the best Thai food in Napa county
Disappointing meal after having had both take out and one other dining experience. Small portions, very pricey, uneven service.
We arrived at the restaurant and they sat us in a "family style" table with other patrons that we did not know. We informed the waiter that we had a reservation and he did not understand or heard. He brought us menus and left for several minutes. No water was delivered or offered to order drinks. He left us and did not returned. We decided to leave.
The woman, maybe the owner, was screaming at her employees in Thai for half the time we were there. People got up and left their tables. While she was screaming at them in the back, no one was on the floor to help seat people. So people were lined up in the front waiting to be seated as she screamed at everyone else in the back. Meanwhile for those like myself who were already seated, it was hard to enjoy our dinner with the constant ear piercing yelling coming from behind me. Her voice was so loud and piercing. I felt uncomfortable and really awkward so we rushed our dinner and got out of there which was really unfortunate. The food was good but probably won't be back
We satisfy our Thai food cravings by dining here on a regular basis. The menu choices are great. Try the papaya salad (order it spicy), chicken satay was tender too. Great wine list!
Very nice place to have dinner after a lond day of wine tasting. Specially the tom yum noodle was great to console the body soaked in wine. So good! Will be back there next time too.
This was our first visit & it was very good. We had a group of 6 & started with the pot stickers & chicken satay & both were very tasty. My husband & I shared a special-of-the-day curry noodle dish & though it wasn't at all spicy, it was flavorful & very good. The service was slow even though it was a tiny place but it didn't spoil the evening.
We found this gem on Opentable when we were booking dinners for our trip to Napa. We loved the food, atmosphere, and the service.
The restaurant honored our Open Table reservation and had our table waiting despite a full house on Saturday evening. Fantastic, swift service and truly delicious food. What a treat!
Everything we ordered was scrumptious. Best Thai food yet!
I had scallops and prawns. Excellent. Very tasty. Generous portions. Friendly staff. Only beer and wine. And only one kind of beer: Thai beer. Good beer. Great, awesome salad. All fresh.
My kiddos & I love Mango on Main. My son & I had a special date just the two of us & they made a special plate for him because the dish he usually orders was not on special. He loved it!!! They are so great!!
The food is so fresh and tasty. Good wine selection and they don't rush you
Wish I could get a refund.
Loved it! Very casual ambience but food is first rare and quite reasonably priced.
Best green curry ever! Not toooo spicy due to special recipe - all made from scratch. Asian eggplant w/seafood is not to be missed. Great food, inviting atmosphere and warm hospitality from owner and wife rounds out a wonderful dining experience.
Wonderful food and excellent service. There were only two of us and it would probably been more fun with more people only to share more dishes.
Outstanding dining experience overall as always. The restaurant is charming. It is owner-operated with gracious, hospitable service. The food is exceptional - quality food and delicious.
A welcome opportunity in Napa town -- tastefully decorated, pleasant service, varied menu and very good food preparation. Unlike its prior location, the current one offers a more upscale experience in location, decor and -- prices. I believe we had 2 appetizers, soup for 2, salad for 2 and one entree split between us (and one Thai ice tea) for $72. Not a high price for Napa, and overall recommended.
Everything we ordered was delicious. And leave room for the coconut ice cream - wontons with chocolate ganache. Really!
Great Thai Food with lots of heat in the coconut soup - chicken with green thai sauce more mild but very tasty. Order rice on the side. Singha beer is great!
The food was fabulous -tasty and seasoned perfectly. Service was quick and attentive. We were visiting the area and happened upon this wonderful restaurant.
Mango has always been one of our go-to favorites in downtown Napa. Refined Thai cuisine, very fresh ingredients, friendly and attentive (family) staff, pleasant dining room, and a good value. Favorites are the pot stickers, lemongrass soup, double drunkin shrimp and the curries. The wine list is small but carefully selected. Located away from the more frenetic downtown scene, but in easy walking distance.
This restaurant had great reviews and since we love Thai food, we decided to give it a try. As an appetizer, we had the Miengkum (8 elements wrap). We had not had it since we were in Thailand and were so happy to enjoy it again. The pretty umbrellas from Chiang Mai hanging from the ceiling were a nice touch. We had the Chicken cha cha and the shrimp and eggplant, which we ordered medium spicy. Being accustomed to Thai food, it was not spicy enough. However, they brought some spices to our table that made it just perfect. The service was excellent and we were treated very nicely. Also, they offer brown rice, which is unusual in a Thai restaurant. We highly recommend this restaurant.
I walked in and there was only one man sitting at the front table by the window. The man waiter most likely owner was on the phone. He got to us and took I and my daughter to our table without saying nothing. He places are menus down and leaves. When I open the menu it is dirty with drippings of soy sauce all over it. Very distasteful I would say. I and my daughter finally decide what we want and we wait and wait and wait. Until I said we were ready to order. I order the Pot Stickers, Micronesia Rolls, Coconut Soup with Tofu, Indeed Pad Thai, and a Thai Ice Tea.
The Micronesia rolls tasted not made in house were deep fried and very greasy, Pot Stickers outsides were burnt, dried and very tasteless. Lucky for the soy sauce to add some flavors. Coconut Soup with Tofu was the ok, however way too salty. Indeed Pad Thai was mushy and very sweet, left an awful after taste in my mouth. The Thai Tea I returned. It was like drinking a sugar block with some weird looking red dye with cream. I order the regular tea and it tasted weird too worn some strange grape taste to it.
We waited forever for the bill and that was the only time owner waiter spoke to us. This place left a strange vibe in my mouth and I won't be going back. I ran next door to get a Ben and Jerry's ice cream to get the taste out of my mouth.
Oh and the other waiter peeling string beans and going to answer phone. Never ever did I see him wash his hands. There are too many good places in Napa and I cannot understand the good reviews for this place. People must have bad pallets and would eat dog food.
Nice Ambience. The owners are very friendly and the food delicious. We have such a great time. This restaurant is a favorite of ours since we move to Napa Valley in 2011.
Prompt and friendly service. Food was tasty but unexciting.
This is authentic Thai food at its best - and inexpensive for Napa.
My reservations about the restaurant has to do with the service. We were a group of five adults.
First, we had to wait 20 minutes after arriving to get seated. Then, we waited after we were seated only to see other patrons who arrived after us get served before us by our server. Then, several minutes after the server finally took our order -- he brought me the wrong meal!
It was very upsetting that I had to wait for my meal, after the rest of the party was ready to eat. They didn't even apologize!
I cannot recommend them, and will not go back there.
This is a great little find a little farther along Main St. in Napa. The food was really good, and the service was the perfect balance of attentive, but not intrusive. The place was packed during mid-week, and I always take that as a good sign....
We LOVE Mango on Main. We go there for lunch, special occasions, dinner...any excuse!
Very nice little mom and pop kind of restaurant in Napa. Great prices, good food.
Just great Thai food. Small, the owner takes your order and the great food starts coming. Order your favorites but make sure you start with the corn fritters. Can't do them justice with words ...
Mango on Main's food is always amazing. The service is wonderful and the ambiance is very friendly and easy which helps makes the dining experience wonderful and one you want to repeat.
Loved their curries and prompt service. Table was reserved as we booked on open table. Thanks for reserving table just day before Mother's Day.
There was some confusion when we arrived, as they did not have our name attributing it to some issues with the place changing its name and some missed info. So, we had to wait about 20 minutes, but it was fine.
The food was very good. Not your typical Thai food that you see everywhere. Good wine list, too.
Once we settled in, the service was good.
I would go back and would recommend to friends.
