Excellent food! Both the scallop and the tuna specials (mains) were standouts as was the mussels with saffron cream sauce appetizer special. This is a consistently reliable restaurant choice in West Vancouver with friendly, polished service, a nice ambiance and great food.
The absolute pinnacle of service. The most amazing dishes served by true professionals in the most comfortable setting. Everything here is just perfect! Mangia E Bevi is a MUST for any occasion! I highly recommend the Spaghetti Bevi!

Top notch as always! Beef carpaccio was delicious, melt in your mouth. Beef tenderloin cooked perfectly and beautifully flavoured. Risotto spectacular. Ciliege Galani, I have no words. So very good!
Food was excellent. Service was excellent. Would definitely reccomend and come back. Only small problem was where we were seated. It was a table right in the middle of the dining area so we were surrounded by other patrons. Would have rather been in a more quiet section.

Great service - friendly but not too friendly. I had the special sirloin steak and it was medium rare as ordered and was very good. My wife had the steelhead from the regular menu and raved about it. All in all a nice Valentine’s Day treat.

I felt the pasta dishes were exceptional. Appetizers were all very good. Lovely beet salad. Our service was attentive but not overbearing. Oh did I mention the amazing Milton chocolate cake with cherry sauce and ice cream. A must have!
We were with friends who recommended this great Italian restaurant. It was hard to choose from such an excellent range of menu choices which all sounded delicious. The waiters had great advice and were most helpful. Excellent quality and fantastic flavours

a wonderful time . The food and service were top notch and the ambiance

Food was very poor, is either far too salty or no taste at all. Pasta was overcooked which was very disappointing. If a fine dining Italian restaurant cannot cook their pasta well, what else can be good?
The food was very ordinary, nothing compare what is claimed to be an authentic Italian restaurant.
We had 4 dishes dinner and none of them I can call are good tasting.

We were very pleasantly surprised at how excellent the Italian food was! Bravo!!
The food here is very good and authentic Italian. However, if it is only 2 of you going DO NOT ACCEPT tables near the big round table. Two of the three taables should not even be there - they are obviously there just to squeeze more people into the restaurant. The noise level and hustle of waiters around you is impossible. My wife and I spent the whole meal asking each other to repeat ourselves. Ruined the whole evening. And what really put me off was when our main course came I asked to be moved because of the noise level and was told no other table was available. On leaving I saw that a table I had seen as empty but thought it was for 4 people actually was a table for two.
The food was excellent and the service staff better than excellent.
Our server was superb and two of the four of us thoroughly enjoyed their meals. My guest enjoyed eating my meal; his meal, we took away as a treat for the dog.
First of all, the Insalata Lattuga E Formaggio Di Capra. While it's so nice to see cool, crisp butter lettuce in any restaurant these days (instead of those tedious 'mixed greens'), goat cheese is ALWAYS served at room temperature and should be creamy throughout. In my case, the cheese was nearly frozen and the centre was so hard, it flaked with a fork. Also, there is no point in telling people that there are 'candied almonds' on a salad unless they can actually taste them--teeny slivers of nuts are merely decoration.
Then I ordered the Filetto Ai Formaggio Blu, which was perfect. But my guest ordered the Arrosto Di Agnello, and he specifically said he wanted the lamb done 'precisely medium'. When it arrived, it was nearly blue, with the consistency of rubber and barely penetrable with a steak knife. While our server offered to redo it, that would mean that he'd be sitting there, hungry and waiting, so I gave him my meal.
As is the case with so many Vancouver restaurants now, liquor sales are paying the rent--a glass of wine at this restaurant is pretty much the same as an entire bottle. Suppliers are delivering tough meat and chefs don't seem to be able to deal with it. They are also not paying attention to what customers order: 'precisely medium' is clear. If there is any doubt in the kitchen, the server should clarify.
Wonderful in every way. Will definitely be back. Even the foccacia bread was perfection!
