Mandarin Bar - Mandarin Oriental, Las Vegas Ratings and Reviews
Had two creative cocktails before heading on the town. Great view of the strip and we had very fast service. I would recommend for a date night. It's a fun place to go when you get a little dressed up and was also great for people watching. I had to rate the food, but we did not eat - only had cocktails.
The views from Mandarin Bar are amazing; stunning nearly 360-degree views of the lights of the Las Vegas Strip. Very pricey; prepare to spend $$$$$ on expensive drinks. Great snack mix comes with all drinks. The food leaves a bit to be desired; limited menu, small portions, and nothing very substantial.
Its all about the gorgeous view! What a wonderful retreat from the chaos of the Las Vegas strip.
We thoroughly enjoyed our cocktails. Nice menu, great friendly service only small complaint is the hotel is so serene. The music in the lobby is great, chill laid back tunes. The techno club music in the bar just isn't a fit with the environment. Would love to see a band or a piano player in the bar. A singer songwriter would work. Club music was kind of a bummer in this beautiful setting. Major plus for us too was the yummy complimentary bar snacks-
Every time we come to Vegas, this place is at the top of our list. This time around though the service was lacking. I find 20 minutes to wait for a cocktail a little excessive. But the drinks are good and the view is great. I would highly recommend this place if you want to escape the chaos and nuttiness off the Strip and casino lounges. Again, top of my list but a little disappointed this time around.
Great place to have a drink, eat and see the wonderful view of Vegas! Watched the transition from day to night, was spectacular. Had two cocktails each, delicious. Staff informative and friendly, made the experience! Was a couple and went for a special occasion, perfect. Dress code smart dressy, dress for ladies, collared shirt and trousers for men. Highly recommend, will go again.
We went on Halloween weekend for a dreank and explore. It was very nice place with a beautiful view. everyone had costume there were very fun group of ppl and the DJ was great. we had a real great experience I will go there again and wanted to try the tea and other foods in menu
I think there was a private function on so we ended up in just the reception area.
We went fairly early, ate and had a few drinks. It looked like other guest got taken to another area later on but we still had food on our table so never received the offer to move tables to the other area.
The view was exceptional (if booking ask for a window seat for an even better view) the service was fantastic the drinks always came quickly and we never finished a drink before being asked if we were ready for the next.
The music was quiet therefore the atmosphere was just people coming and going, that may have been different further in to the restaurant/bar.
The food was great, tasted and looked fantastic.
Plenty of cocktails and drinks to chose from too.
The view from the restaurant is worth it all. Handcraft, very original, cocktails were amazing. Prices were reasonable for the quality. Food was a little disappointing but over all experience was fantastic. Quiet place to take in the City lights from a 270 degree view from the 23rd floor.
I was in Las Vegas on business and stayed at the Mandarin Oriental Hotel. The Mandarin Bar, on the 23rd floor, is not to be missed whether you are staying at the hotel or elsewhere. It does get crowded so you should make a reservation.
I was greeted by a very friendly hostess. I was alone and chose to sit at the bar, although I was graciously offered my own table. The views of the city and the strip are phenomenal. The bar itself is beautiful and a bit eclectic.
I tried the very dry 5 Star Martini which was made with Absolute Elyx and artfully garnished with blue cheese stuffed olives. I then tried another to make sure it was really as great at I thought. Hands down it was the single best Martini I ever had. The sushi was very fresh, artfully presented and delicious. They have a huge selection of Japanese Whiskey, Bourbons and Vodkas.
I highly recommend.
Being a Vegas regular for over a decade now, this is still by far the best little hidden GEM in VEGAS. Yes there are plenty of places to grab a drink and watch the action, but watching it all from the 23rd floor of a private building with views up and down the entire strip can’t be topped. They have small bits to eat, but they do close down the kitchen at 11PM, so reservations after will just be for drinks. They have many seasonal cocktails and some of best looking wait staff. It’s definitely a place to hob knob with a few snobs and meet cool people. One thing is make reservations 1 month in advance as this place books up quickly.
Amazing bar! So glad we booked in advance as we got a table with the most amazing view of the strip! We timed it perfectly for the sun setting too!
We sampled many cocktails and each one was beautiful. The bar had an amazing selection with something to suit every taste. We sampled afew items from the bar menu! Would really recommend the cool BBQ! Food with theatre!
Really attentive service from start to finish!
Thanks again for a wonderful evening!
I made reservation for celebration of my husband's birthday.
We ordered two beers the waitress brought some snacks which was so little we finished in 3 minutes she came to our table a few times she never offered the refill.
Last year they offered the champagne for the birthday surprise. This year nothing at all.
We swear we will never go back.
Not only that both drinks and small bites are way too expensive.
Come here for a great view, fantastic cocktails that change with the season and wonderful service. The room is sexy and opulent. A nice selection of small plates to indulge yourself. Cocktail fans and foodies will find this hidden gem a great oasis from all the bustle of the Strip.
This has to be one of the most stunning views at a bar on the Strip. The sliders were delicious. The drinks were excellent. The service, however, was horrible. Server disappeared for an eternity and eventually had to track down to get check. Maybe it was an off night (they weren't that busy), but I'd go back for the view.
