The best lebanese around!! The Kibbe alone is worth the trip. Servers are alway attentive and they did a great job with social distancing and cleanliness.
Great service, excellent food. The portions are just perfect to fill your stomach.
Awesome food and service. First time at this restaurant. Would highly recommend it. Outstanding home cooked food at very reasonable prices.
The food is always excellent but this one time my Branzino tasted. Fishy
The absolute best Lebanese food in an area that knows Middle Eastern cooking! The portions are generous and the pricing very reasonable. Well worth the trip any time!
The only problem was a table with very young children that were being allowed to run through the restaurant without the parents or restaurant staff telling the kids they belonged at their table. The parents really shouldn't being kids to a restaurant in the evening if they cannot be somewhat under control.
Once music started we couldn’t hear ourselves talk. Food was great as well as the service!
Mandaloun Bistro feels upscale without being stuffy. Our server was very attentive and my team enjoyed their meals. I felt the food was a little more bland than I’m used to with Mediterranean food but with a bit more spice, I could see this being a regular choice.
The restaurant is nicely appointed and has great natural lighting. There were some tables near us that made conversation a bit challenging at times. I’m not sure if it was just the mix of other diners or the proximity that was the issue.
We had a great time and look forward to dining here again
Good food. Great service. Overall good experience.
Appetizers were delicious and very fresh. The only disappointment was the lamb shank which had very little meat on it and lots of sauce but little else. Not a good choice.
The service was very slow. Took over an hour for the food to arrive only to find out the restaurant closed 30 minutes later. We didn’t feel rushed because it was not our fault that the food came out late. Ended up staying an hour after they closed. Overall was mediocre. I’ve had much better Lebanese food elsewhere.
This is a great place. Great food, high quality ingredients excellently prepared and cooked to perfection.
The food and service were great! Only one other table was full while we were there. They only had one Miller Lite and no White Claw - who’s in charge of inventory?
Table of 6 and we had a great time. The music was a fun touch.
Great food, great service. Very quiet and relaxed atmosphere.
We periodically dine at Mandaloun Bistro because we love the food. Melissa and her staff are attentive, kind, and very helpful!! The food is always delicious!! This is our go-to Mideastern restaurant!!!
Amazing food and atmosphere, the music was a little loud but so far a great experience.
Food was delicious and authentic!
Quiet, elegant setting for a very fine northern Lebanese meal.
This is the best Lebanese food that we’ve enjoyed. Every member of our party was pleased with their order.
We especially liked the lamb tongue and the falafel appetizers. Lamb chops and chicken entrées were also excellent.
Our dining experience was significantly enhanced by our server, Gabe. He was knowledgeable about the menu, very helpful with our wine selection and just generally an excellent ambassador for the restaurant.
Very good; a little pricey
Outstanding, high-end Lebanese cuisine that perfectly marries fine-dining quality with home-cooked authenticity. You won't find a better option for middle eastern food.
Good food. Quiet enough for conversation with pleasant music in the background.
Beautiful looking restaurant. Great food and service. Everything I’ve had there has been good.
Mandaloun a perfect location for Arabic food in an upscale atmosphere without the outrageous prices of another nearby option. The food portions are generous and flavorful, though they do use beef often where one who grew up on home made Arabic food may expect lamb. It is nice and quiet for weekday dinner, busier at lunch and there is live music on the weekends.
Delicious food.
Great service
We celebrated our daughter’s birthday. The food was excellent. There were lots of choices, and the amount of food was very plentiful. Our server was helpful, sweet, and gracious. Melissa was outstanding to us! We will be back again soon!
Nice lunch specials. Unfortunately they were out of my colleague's first choice due to a large party the night prior.
Best Middle Eastern around! I’ve yet to be disappointed! Sherry ( server) was fun, honest, attentive, and knowledgeable. The atmosphere is a bit old school but that’s part of its charm. If you like raw kibbe, this is one of 2 places in the Detroit area that I’ll order it.... really superb!!!
We took my daughter there to celebrate her birthday. Love the freshness of the food and the fact that we are not competing to hear ourselves talk. Love the ambiance and the service is excellent. We have followed the owners from their place in Southfield to their location on Telegraph and we are never disappointed. Our favorite is their calamari. They also have the very best pita bread as well. I highly recommend this restaurant if you enjoy great Lebanese food.
First time at Mandaloun, and we were impressed. Lebanese dining with table cloths in a very pleasant setting. Hummus was excellent. Those that ate crushed lentil soup thought it was very flavorful. Chicken was a little dry but tasty. Other items were plentiful and enjoyable. Wished there were more people there to support a very good restaurant.
Finally stopped in and we were very happy with that decision. A very nice spot. Very tasty food, good service and pleasant environment. A decent amount of vegetarian dishes to choose from. Chicken shawarma was very nice & the chicken had a great grilled flavor. Veggies could have been cooked more, otherwise, everything was delicious. Will definitely return.
Wonderful, attentive server. Great food and very fresh brewed iced tea!
Great Lebanese restaurant in the Southfield area. Appropriate for a date or quiet business dinner with fantastic food.
There was a large party in the main room. They were noisy and significantly raised the noise level for our dinner. They could have been set up in the private room adjacent to the main room.
Also, several of us ordered stuffed eggplant . We were informed there was only one order left, which is understandable. The issue was that we were informed a very long time after the order was taken. It would seem that information could have been presented to us sooner.
I cannot say enough good things about this place! The food was phenomenal. We just to try several starters (known as Mazza in the Lebanese world) and split one entree.
We order tabbouli, sujuk, foul medamas, baba ghanouj, pheonician fries and smelt. And we shared the lamb shank with okra. We could tell the baba ghanouj was blended with hummus but it still tasted great. The smelt was so salty however, we asked they flash fry them again to remove the salt but the salt was in the fish itself not the breading. They removed the charge without us even asking! The tabbouli and foul and sujuk were as fresh and delicious as what you would get in Lebanon! (Maybe even better) and the fries were garlicy and lemony... absolutely delicious! Finally the entree itself was like my mom’s own cooking at home! So good. Service was great too. The ambiance was nice and quiet, I prefer Lebanese music in the background and maybe more decor to give tribute Northern Lebanese culture but it was clean and elegant. We really loved this place and can’t wait to go back!
First time dining at Mandaloun Bistro. Great food, great service. Quiet night due to 4th of July holiday weekend. Server was attentive, helpful with menu, and fun to talk to. Delicious house salad which she recommended. Looking forward to returning. Great value.
Great lunch value!
I was very pleased with my first time at Mandaloun Bistro. The food was excellent and reasonably prices and the waitstaff was very accommodating to our needs. The decor was very nice and the noise level was low allowing a chance to have a good conversation without having to raise our voices. I will definitely be back in the future.
