Food is an essential part of all family and social interactions in the Middle East where people grow up with intense flavors, colorful, vibrant foods fresh from the marketplace, prepared simply and with a lot of passion. Aromatic herbs fill the streets and a spirit of warmth and generosity exudes welcome at any table.
Here at Mamnoon, we share these strengths brought with us from Lebanon and Syria to the new world of Seattle – where modern curiosity, compassion, progressive values and tolerance are paving the way for harmonious integration and celebration of cultures and flavors.

What Insiders Are Saying
Mamnoon in Capitol Hill makes the best Mediterranean food in Seattle, and also works for just about any dining situation.
The food was fantastic, the atmosphere was lively, loved the music and the vibe in the restaurant. Will definitely come back here for a romantic date, date with a friend or a nice meal before going to Paramount theater.
Amazing food! We love Middle Eastern cuisine so it's embarrassing that this is the first time we've been here. The mezze plate was a perfect starter, after which we chose to share the Kefta and Mujadarra. Kefta was the best I've had, with pistachios and a surprising spiciness. Mujadarra may be my new favorite Middle Eastern dish. So many flavors packed into one lentil and rice plate. We will be back!
Great food. Small plate appys very filling.
Chicken perfect. Naan delicious.
Nice restaurant. The cauliflower dish was amazing. Music was a bit loud to hold a conversation.
So delicious and the service was fantastic!!
The food was delicious! Amazing flavors. The servers are not as attentive as I’d like. We had to request water several times, flag down a server to ask for dessert and coffee, and struggled to find anyone that would be able to get us our check. That was tough. I’ll be back if I have a big window of time to spare.
Birthday celebration. The dishes are very tasty and service is very good. The $64,000.00 question is weather Hummus, eggplant, pita and and two cocktails and a few other appetizers should run up a tab of $280.00 for a party of 5. This stuff is/was known as CHEAP EATS! That is close to $60.00 a person 😳
They never disappoint!
Fascinating, unique, and delightful restaurant. Food: utterly delicious and DIFFERENT! Service: truly top-notch. My parents were in town visiting and I got this recommendation from a friend in the restaurant industry here in Seattle. It couldn't have been more perfect—no joke my new favorite spot in the city.
Awesome! Everything was great and they managed to combine two reservations into a large table
the food was great! but our server was horrible. I also wish there were more gluten free options and they were out of the za'atar crackers and some other menu items.
Interesting though limited menu for lunch. High quality and tasty food in a pleasant and somewhat minimalist setting. No bargains here by my midwestern standards but certainly a dependable and pleasant choice.
Back at Mamnoon again! Great as always! Dolmas man Dolmas! We will recommend to others.
We have dined at Mammoon many times. The food is great, but we had an unpleasant seating experience, this time. We were not walk ins, but had reserved a table. The hostess initially tried to seat us at the back of the restaurant, with seats facing the glassed in section of the kitchen storage room, housing the refrigerator, etc. Not a pleasant view. The next table was also one in the back, very close to an intense heat source. It was 87 degrees outside, so this wasn't pleasant, either. I then asked if we could be seated at one of the many empty tables in the center, that would seat four. She huffily sat us at one.
We are a little older, certainly not part of the crowd that eventually was there, but we honestly felt that we were being treated rather rudely. The restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived.
It's too bad about our experience, as the food is great; not sure if we'll go there again.
Great brunch. Every dish was great. The highlight was the egg sandwich and fries.
Great recommendations from the server and a variety of meat and vegetarian options. We (party of 6) all loved it!
Loved Mamnoon’s fresh take on Persian food.
We’ve eaten at dozens of Persian style restaurant and it’s always about the same.
They’re vegetarian main dishes we’re some of the most imaginative with freshest local ingredients.
Our waitress was super helpful and knowledgeable with all of our questions.
Only drawback is the noise and it was a Friday night .. so what can you expect:)
We will return soon !
Great vibe and service but the food was a little underwhelming, especially when you factor in how expensive it is.
Felt sick after eating, very heavy foods with a lot of sauces, too rich.
Excellent middle eastern cuisine. I enjoyed all the different flavors. Could use more fresh vegetables.
Food was great. Service was surprisingly quick. Lovely space.
This is my new favorite place in Seattle. Stylish decor, friendly staff and delicious food & drinks. The moushakal platter with hummus, muhammara, labneh, baba ganoush in conbination with za'atar gluten free crackers was heavenly. We had mamnoon taouk for the entree and the meat was so flavorful. Can't wait to come back!!
Loved it! Food was delicious.
We are coming back for a dinner. Their lamb is Sooo good that I wished I had the order by myself. Looking forward to having their trout for tomorrow’s dinner.
Throughly enjoyed our 1st time there. Have already recommended it and will be back !
Had sent two messages through Open Table to restaurant requesting that 2 bdays be recognized and that we were adding a baby so needed a larger table. Ended up at a very cramped table near kitchen and no recognition of birthdays. $400 tab for 6 with bottle of overpriced wine and 4 drinks, sharing 3 appies and 4 mains + pita.
Brunch was yummy
Had a great brunch at Mamnoon. If you are a foodie and are tired of basic brunch offerings this is the place for you. I had the Awarma- nicely spiced lamb sausage topped with eggs and pickled something. My husband had the Nargesi- spinach and caramelized onion topped with eggs- we shared both and the combo is great! Also enjoyed their spiced fries- hot but not TOO hot. we could have used more of the dipping sauces. Beautiful contemporary dining area. I couldn't figure out why it wasn't packed- food definitely rivals the places with 1h waits! Looks like a good place for lunch or dinner too
Top 5 Restaurant in Seattle
Every dish we had was amazing! Even hummus, which can be ho-hum — not with lamb belly on top. The fish stew, in it’s mysterious sauce, was outstanding. The side room is dark (and unfortunately still noisy), but perfect for a more private gathering.
The food was tasty but very sparse for the price. My friend had the chicken kabob, which was 1 chicken kabob and nothing else. My mujadara was tasty but a little cool by the time it came. We were disturbed when we realized that we were sitting under a flock of realistic looking raw rubber chickens. Not the kind of gag chickens with red beaks and yellow feet, but ones that looked like you could put them in a pot for soup.
The hummus and dips were to die for! Do the sampler! Also the specialty cocktails were delicious!
Had brunch. Great selection of brunch food done in a unique and delicious way. Lamb bacon was delicious as was the coffee, cocktails and pancakes.
The food was extraordinary!
The food and service were very good. However the one negative was that when we arrived the host/hostess was not present and we waited quite a while before being greeted and seated at our table. The hostess was not very welcoming or friendly which was quite a contrast to our waiter. He was very attentive and helpful.
Wonderful brunch options and drinks. Our server, Karmaria, was delightful and gave us great recommendations. Note: the basket of pita was more than enough for 3-4 people. :)
Great food and lovely service
Very good Mediterranean restaurant--four of us shared the mixed grill (fish, lamb and chicken), the cold mezze sampler plate and the carrots. Every dish was excellent and this was enough food for us. The only negative was the (very) skimpy cocktails--one had a martini, another a margarita. Just a few sips from an old-fashioned champagne glass. The wine selection was pretty good.
This is our second time in less then a week
In previous review, I mentioned that tables were too small.
This time we were in the main dining room and tables are bigger. So if you plan to order volumes of food it’s a better bet.
Again everything was great. Really love this place
This place has been hit or miss. I have been here about 4 times now, with it being alternately good/bad especially on the service side. This past time, our server did not check up on us a single time and I had to finally ask other passing servers for assistance with refills, or more bread etc. The food was good mostly. The Pitas are so damn good! Our main entrée was the chicken breast which was overcooked and over salted so not very enjoyable. The drinks were ok but took about 15-20 minutes to come out. It was not an experience that would make us want to really go back.
