It was our Anniversary, and the restaurant made it as special as they could! They went out of their way to provide us with a special note, a flower lei and a mini dessert. We come to Maui every year on our Anniversary, and Mama’s each time. We will be back next year as well!

Great dining experience! Atmosphere, unique sea and farm-to-table, attentiveness, presentation, and taste were all at the top of the charts.

I was told to make sure I dined at Mama’s Fish House while in Maui. I made reservations well in advance and was able to secure a mid afternoon spot. If you want dinner reservations you need to reserve weeks in advance. The location was spectacular! Our server spent time explaining the food choices and he made sure he understood our likes and dislikes. They will adapt the menu and prepare your food any way you like. This was definitely a high point of our trip to Maui.

Beautiful restaurant but the highlight for my husband and I was the service we received from our waiter, GIL. Wow! Pro tip : ask to sit in his section! So attentive, thoughtful and warm — he made us feel so very relaxed and welcomed! He took his time explaining the menu with humor and professionalism — and truly made our evening a memorable one. Manager Dave was a also a delight!

The ultimate dining experience. Food fantastic, outdoor eating superb. If you arrive early, spend a few minutes on the beautiful beach front. Staff knowledgeable, super friendly. The whole package: food, staff, service, facility, location - nothing short of Superb.

Simply exceptional. Nothing more or less. Nothing, minus a few extra minutes waiting for our table beyond the reservation time could even be complained about. However, the exceptional bar drinks more than made up the time. The reputation and setting are unequalled. Awesome place- please, please please keep it up.

Nice family meal while on vacation

Food was very fresh. Ordered the Hawaiian Plate, Stuffed Fish, Polynesian Pearl and Mac nut crunch. They were plated beautifully and were cooked very well.

Only complaint was I left information for the staff in our reservation that my wife and I were celebrating her new job. I responded to the email with her name because they had asked for it. I thought they were going to do something to add to the celebration. They did not. It was a regular dinner. Other than that issue we enjoyed our food and time at the restaurant.

Mamas was an extremely memorable experience. The service was impeccable. Dominic was our server and he was incredible. He gave fantastic menu recommendations and took amazing care of us. Every step of the meal was intentional. From the bread and bisque to the appetizers, main meal and hot towels to clean our hands with, and lastly the dessert. It was a wonderful experience from beginning
To end and the ambiance surrounding the restaurant is truly so quaint and picturesque. I beyond loved it and can’t wait to come back!

Amazing experience, excellent service, spectacular view

Food was really delicious and worthy to it's price.

This was the one Of the best restaurants I’ve ever been too! The drinks were delicious and the food was sensational. I wish I had room to look at the dessert menu! The restaurant is gorgeous and has the best view!

The food is fantastic and the service even better! They have such personalized and friendly staff. The meals might appear a bit pricey but well worth every penny.

This isn’t a place to frequent. It is an event. Very expensive, to say the least, but you get it all. You get incredible food, an incredible waiter (ours anyway), unique ambiance and an awesome settings. Not much left to fill in.

The atmosphere was amazing. We went for lunch and wish we could have gone for dinner. The fish was delicious and the filet was average. A bit pricy but good for a special occasion. Service, Jessica, was outstanding.

So fun to share with friends who were first-time diners at Mama's Fish House! Table location - excellent view! The food was so delicious! One of my favorite appetizers is the sashimi trio. Our server, Rachel, was friendly and professional! Great wine list!

The location is beautiful. The grounds are beautiful. The service was excellent. But the food didn’t knock our socks off. I had the macadamian-crusted stuffed fish. It was good but not great - certainly not what I was hoping for at $60 an entree. The fish tasted ok but was a little dry. My husband was more happy with his dish, which the waiter recommended. It was sautéed Ono. The sides were ok but nothing to write home about. We ordered Scorpians from the bar - just ok. We had Mai tais the day before at Nalu’s in Kihei and they were the best we have ever had at less than half the price. I know you have to pay a premium to eat on the ocean with spectacular views but I was hoping for the entire experience to be exceptional. And ready to pay the price as it was my husbands 60th Birthday.

Enjoyed a delicious Mahimahi stuffed with crab & shrimp and the Black Pearl for dessert. Everything about Mama's is "mo" wonderful. Fabulous service, scenery, and delectable food offerings. Word of advice "make your reservation now"!

Anniversary

This was by far the best place on Maui yet . I had been there before maybe 25 years ago however I don't remember it being this superb . Whooohoo nice job guys all the way around.

Very beautiful setting and the food was amazing! Portions are large and drinks are made to your liking.

Mama’s never disappoints! We always take our friends and family here visiting from the mainland. Krystal was and awesome server and full of Aloha! Mahalo for another wonderful dining experience!

All, the location is Amazing . The ambience is of a Polynesian longhouse with beautiful tablecloth’s. We had a Hawaiian feast with local deep fried fish. Sauces tasted great and on the side. The Mahi-Mahi spring roles were protein rich and tasty with sweet sour sauce. A long wonderful dinner. Get to the Fish House. Oh, we drove from Napili and left at 7:30 so no traffic.

For all the rave reviews I don’t get it . The food was good But service right from Valet parking, having a drink at the bar while waiting for our table and the service while ordering and throughout diner made us not able to recommend Mama’s Fish House. We felt overall as if the staff treated us like oh my god another customer now I have too work. I don’t believe any of the serving staff at this place understands that the customer signs there pay check.

Not much else to say, but hands down the best of everything. Atmosphere, cuisine, and service were outstanding.

Another great dinning experience at Momma’s this trip to Maui. I got the seafood curry and y husband got the Ahi! Fabulous birthday dinner celebration with the perfect service and attention to detail.

Mana‘s Fish House is one of the best places we‘v ever been.

Excellent food, staff, ambiance, and lots of little extras but pricey. However you see where the money goes.

Amazing food, view and drinks, kind of pricey but worth it.

The venue is beautiful, even including the bathrooms. Free valet. The seafood was so fresh! Everything was well-prepared with generous portions of seafood. The restaurant looks out to the ocean providing picturesque scenery. Worth the drive! Plan ahead as getting a reservation is very difficult.
