The food is amazing fresh fish. The fish curry, onaga which is the snapper, even the basic fried Mahi Mahi was amazing. Pretty much anything you choose will be amazing.
We booked a reservation for our party of 6 to celebrate my birthday. They took amazing care of our group, and gave us the best table in the house! The food was incredible, the ambiance was perfect, and we had such a great time celebrating! Thank you so much for making my birthday so special!
Jeff was an absolutely fantastic waiter. Knew the ins and outs of the menu and was particularly accommodating for my shellfish allergy.
Tables are extra spaced out right now for covid protocol, which made the dining experience far quieter than normal.

Been coming here for 12 years but yesterday was the first time we had such a wonderful server — thank you Lacey. We were celebrating a birthday and Lacey made it feel so special. Her food recommendations were perfect. Tristan Lobster was delicious.
We had the best meals of our entire vacation here, no question. The fresh fish is unparalleled anywhere. The only concern we had was that they appeared to be a bit short staffed, and our server was doing the very best he could, but he couldn’t be everywhere at once, So it was a bit slower than usual. This is truly a special place, and we will be back!
We went here for my moms 70th birthday. From start to finish it was a beautiful time. We actually got there about an hour early, due to other things not taking as long as we thought, and they were able to seat us early. They had a little card on the table wishing my mom a happy birthday. We enjoyed where our table was (right next to the windows). I have Celiac and let them know. Our waitress, was able to steer me I to a entree that would work for me. My mom ordered the Kona fish that was stuffed with lobster and crab with an iced tea to drink. I ordered the short ribs (although not 100% gluten free which was okay because I can have the tiniest amount and have no issue) and added on the blue island shrimp. Everything we had was delicious. They gave my mom a little scream of mushroom soup as a appetizer and they gave me a cucumber and carrot salad. It has been a long time since I have enjoyed everything I ate that much. I would definitely recommend this place as it is very special and a great place to enjoy a delicious dinner.
Best overall dining experience on the island! Mama's never disappoints and is always a top pick for a special occasion. It's the whole package - ambiance, food and service. We make a point to dine here each time we come. We often stay at the Inn on our first night in Maui and have dinner there to get our vacation going.
The service was excellent.Our waiter, Devin, was the best. Excellent suggestions and an answer for all my questions concerning the menu and the language.

Mama’s does not disappoint! First time having lunch here as we’ve always dined in the evening. The views are spectacular. And the Onaga and Antarctic Toothfish were melt in your mouth fresh! Shrimp wontons as a starter are out of this world. Top restaurant on the island for sure.

We had an early lunch at Mamas Fish House. It was like stepping back in time as the restaurant was decorated in Hawaiian themed decor. The food & cocktails were delicious!! Definitely worth the drive!!

Fantastic place. Been there twice on this trip, but they keep increasing prices way faster than others. The Mac nut Mahi Mahi is now up to $65, a huge increase from just last year and May This are up to $20. Eventually people will rebel at these increases
