   The shrimp Scampi was excellent- and really large portions. Enough for 2 meals. Also the small dinner salad was huge! 2 of us ended up splitting it.

   This is one of my favorite family-owned Italian restaurants in Tucson! The service is wonderful, and the food is delicious! It's a pretty casual place, and consistently a great experience and meal. I highly recommend it.

    The food was lackluster. Nothing you couldn't really find at olive garden for a fraction of the price. Needed a bit more seasoning too. The wait staff was very friendly though. Would I return? Probably not.

    Overall it was a disappointing experience. We arrived on time but due to a large group and a busy night the food was not served for about 45 minutes, mine was delivered barely lukewarm, we were not offered the happy hour early dining tho it was well within the time frame. The food was good but prices over its value. It's clearly a popular place because an even bigger group was sitting down as we left. I would not visit again.

    Very disappointing experience. Because of the 4.5 star rating on Open Table I booked the restaurant. This is lucky to be 1.5 stars. Restaurant looked like it hadn’t been updated since it opened 60 years ago. Ambience was poor, pasta was over cooked and the sauces were not tasty. On a positive note our server was attentive.

    Ok food. The eggplant parm was good but everything else was pretty bland. Better Italian places for sure in Tucson. Value wise was good you get a lot of food for your money.

    This would have been a five-star review had it not been that the kitchen took forever to get us our meal. We made the mistake of going on the day of airshow; our timing couldn't have been worse. If we knew it was going to take 45 minutes to get our entrees, we would have ordered an appetizer. The food was outstanding, from the manicotti to the eggplant. Everything was made from scratch and was delicious. We will definitely return.

    The BEST Italian restaurant in Tucson if not the entire state of Arizona. The pasta and sauces are all tasty and homemade and made from scratch. The antipasto plate is the biggest and best I have ever seen made with fresh tomatoes, prosciutto, mozzarella, onion, marinated veggies; the works! The Caesar’s salad was huge and mighty fine as well. The meatballs, Uncle Mike’s bread, the pesto and Alfredo dipping sauce were freaking great. And those weren’t even our main courses. We had shrimp scampi with linguini, chicken Alfredo fettuccini and chicken Parmesan and a side order of spaghetti with meatballs in meat sauce. All dishes were made al denté and with utter perfection! Not one dish was found wanting; again, all pasta and sauces were clearly made in house and from scratch. The serving sizes were HUGE for the money. I recommend their excellent wine list highly as well as a side of San Pelegríno to lift your meal to the next level. The Italian cream sodas were delicious and well-done. We had dessert including their homemade crème brûlée, their chocolate chip cannolis and strawberry lemon cheesecake. That’s amore! The price on everything was reasonable and spot on. Finally and most important, our server was a patient, fun, efficient, friendly and knowledgeable young lady named “Kaela K.” She was incredible and I recommend her highly; simply put, she is a phenomenal server and you should ask to be seated in her section. What an angel! Folks, the next time you are in Tucson and want the BEST homemade Italian food in Arizona or want something that is far superior to Olive Garden, you MUST come to this institution near the gates of the Davis Monthan Air Force Base on South Craycroft. We shall return again and again and again! This just became my favorite restaurant in Tucson.

    Had not been there in 2 yrs. but The food was still as good as we remembered. We had a reservation but were seated in back with a large noisy group so asked to be moved. Our server was good but our food order got backed up in the kitchen so we waited for longer than we should have. Our time in the restaurant was almost 2 hours. Do not fault the wait staff for this.

    The waitress was great, the food was over salted and peppered even tho I told the waitress they didn’t seem to care. For two of us our bill was about 58 before tip. Over all it was ok . Wish for better food at the prices for the veal so def wouldn’t order that again. But my sons birthday dinner was overall average. The pasta was delicious, meatballs were a little meh as well.
