Great food and service. Happened to be there the same night as a corporate party was being held. It made for a very loud experience. I would have preferred it to be quieter, but the meal was still fabulous.
Great night out! We’ll be back for sure.
I had read some reviews that were down on the service. The service was phenomenal. I asked for a booth instead of a table after they seated me at a table. They immediately moved me to a booth. The hostess and manager were extremely polite and welcoming. The waiter and over almost immediately and ensured our e wry need was met. The food was incredible. Highly recommend Malios. Not sure how I went so long living here without visiting, but I’ll be back!
Food and service were both Outstanding
Had the filet. Amazing and cooked perfectly to order.
A great family birthday dinner for my beautiful wife
The menu listed on opentable with prices is completely inaccurate. The Malios website references Opentable for the menu/pricing - the prices are atleast 30% more at the restaraunt than listed in the app. Some were more exhorbitant - for example, the 10 oz New York strip is listed as $15 on opentable when a 16oz NY strip was listed as $57 at the restaurant.
The food was as good and to be expected - but the excessive fallacy in the pricing left a very bad taste in our mouths. We anticipated having to pay more for high quality food however this pricing disparity was ridiculous.
I don’t usually leave reviews on opentable. This was a very disappointing and inconsiderate experience.
Lively atmosphere. Reservation was for 7:30, got there early and had drinks in the bar to catch up with family from out of town. When 7:30 rolled around went to hostess desk and it took them an additional 15-20 minutes to get our table ready which was sitting empty. Other walk-ins being sat before us as we waited patiently being told that the hostess will be right with us.... Next time we’ll come as walk-ins as they apparently take precedence over those with prior reservations. Our wait service was excellent as well as the food and drinks.
Good food, Excelent service!
Valet parking included so that simplify a lot the parking process.
Courtney put the icing on the cake of our Memorial Celebration for my mother who passed away. She went out of her way to help my handicapped sister and took pictures of our group and guided them with a flashlight down the ramp to their car. She was exemplary and made our experience so special! The food and drink was exceptional. Thank you Malio's!!!!!
Food was delicious and service was amazing.
Excellent service. Friendly, knowledgeable, just truly nice. Food was excellent. Definitely will return.
We had a great experience. Great service and the food was really good. Atmosphere right on too! It was a great anniversary celebration.
Wrong place to go for a quiet romantic evening or celebration. Be prepared to speak loudly if you want to hear during an intimate conversation
Service was very slow.
Lighting was way too dark. Bartender was clueless, had to look up how to make an Italian Margarita, then without asking, screwed it up. He was rude, young and inexperienced in customer service. The drink was left on the table, waitress never asked about it. Food was fair, but nothing great. Will not be back
Always a good choice for an adult night out. The food is excellent and the service is always pleasant. We dined for a birthday and the staff was kind enough to recognize the event with a complimentary birthday dessert for the birthday girl. In all, a wonderful visit.
Amazing place!! You can go for a casual night out or dress up with the girls, even have your first date there and have the best experience! !
Always consistent with great service. Happy hour recommended.
Great place for a quick business lunch. Quick, attentive service, and great food.
Extremely noisy with a lot of children running around. Could not talk in a normal tone of voice. Will not be back.
We went to Malios on Saturday night to celebrate my fiance's 30th birthday. This was a surprise dinner for him so it was supposed to be really special. When we got there to check in for our reservation, the hostess was nowhere to be found for at least 5-7 min. When she finally came up we were seated at a 2 person table that awkwardly faced the window in between two huge columns. It was about 8 PM so almost dark out but they had the shade shut so we were literally staring at a wall. It was fine because we were there for each other, not a view- even though I had heard their views were amazing. We ordered french onion soup (that sat in front of my fiance for 15 min empty after he finished) and only was picked up once we started bussing our own table because we were sick of having things in front of us. The food came out a little over an hour after we got there. He got the 8oz filet with a side of lobster mac & cheese and I got the pasta de mare. It was not our server who brought the food. I will say the food was all very good but they never once came back to ask how it was or if we needed anything and only after we got our bill did they come by to fill our waters - after almost 2 hours of being in there. They didn't even make mention of it being a birthday celebration, not that we were expecting anything, I was just surprised they didn't. My fiance, who never says anything, asked the manager on the way out if they were extremely understaffed to which she replied "no, why?". We told her and she offered multiple times to remedy the situation but we insisted we did not want anything and walked out. At that point, the damage was done and we just wanted to leave. It was a very unfortunate experience and not that way I wanted my fiance's surprise 30th birthday trip/dinner to go. The food was delicious but for top notch service and a better overall experience, you can find somewhere that values their customer a little more - maybe Berns.
Wonderful as always!
Malio's is a very nice looking restaurant in a very nice setting. Food is very average, including both the steak and seafood. I've had better steak at chain steakhouses like Wildfire and Del Frisco. Malio's was overpriced for the quality of food. Our server was polite, but definitely not friendly, and made little to no effort to connect with us--she seemed to rush us along. I've had far friendlier and more efficient service at humble establishments like Applebee's.
Steak was mediocre, seafood (snapper) no better. Side dishes were very good, but when your entrees and service are not good, who cares about sides? If you want a consistently excellent meal with much better seafood, save your money and go to Oystercatchers instead.
Everything was really good. First class venue. Food. Service. Definitely recommend.
Food quality wasn't what we expected for the price.
The service and food was excellent. It was a little loud where we sat but we were sitting right next to the bar area at a mezzanine level. Our server truly made our first visit to Malio's a great experience.
The staff was great per usual - I mentioned to the waitress it was my moms bday - at the end of the meal - and they brought out a cream brûlée’s bday - so nice!!
Table in back corner was not pleasant.
The food was way overpriced. Stake was over cooked. Would have been cheaper to go to Berns. Not impressed at all.
Malios does a good steak and dinner experience, no where as great as the old Malios but still a good time and ambiance. A little disappointed with the French onion soup this time around! The onions where burnt it tasted as if they where in the pot all day cooking in high heat.
Service was pleasant and attentive.
It was a day to remember and Malios made it all happen on our anniversary. What a beautiful place to create memories. Thanks so much for the gorgeous and delicious anniversary dessert on the house. We'll definitely be back!
Awesome service and great food. Highly recommended!
4th of July. Appetizers and drinks before the fireworks! Was perfect - good food, great service.
The food and service were great - we were celebrating our anniversary and enjoyed the food and the quiet restaurant. The bar was hopping, but the restaurant side was very relaxing.
After some less than favorable experiences recently the staff was welcoming and accommodating allowing us to have a very enjoyable evening. Will do it again soon.
I go to Malio's at least once a month, and have for the past couple years. I went for lunch recently with a friend who ordered a salad which was $9 and she asked if she could add a plain baked potato. The waitress said yes and all was good. Then the bill came. The charge for a plain baked potato (only salt and pepper) was $11. Two dollars more than her meal/salad. It was our fault for not asking, but I think the waitress should've mentioned the outrageous price she'd be charged so she could make a decision if she wanted to pay that amount for something that realistically costs less than $1, especially since it's not listed on the menu. She asked the waitress about it and she said- yes, it's an $11 potato. Shame on Malio's for charging $11 for a baked potato, and shame on the waitress for not mentioning it. We still tipped her well, but I'm sure others would have complained, got it comped, or wouldn't have tipped.
Always accommodating, great food and great service... never disappointed
Birthday Dinner was really good. The food was excellent
