Our entire dining experience at Muldaner’s was very enjoyable. The personal service and attention we received while dining was outstanding! All of the staff were professional, courteous, friendly, and worked hard to make sure we were well taken care of. The menu was varied with complete descriptions and provided something for everyone. The cuisine was phenomenal in both taste and presentation! We also enjoyed learning the history of Muldaner’s and it’ owners. We will spread the word and we will be back. Thank You!
Had a wonderful dinner on New Year's Eve! Service was great! We were seated promptly (had a reservation) and enjoyed our evening with our friends. Will definitely return!
Maldaner's did not disappoint. My husband and I ate NYE dinner here. I ordered the fillet and he ordered the ribeye. Both cooked to perfection and a beautiful (scrumptous) presentation.
The dinner was fantastic, but the dessert we split was out of this world! A piping hot home made apple crisp with homemade vanilla ice cream - OMG! This was one of the best desserts we've ever eaten. We were so full and could not stop until the apple crisp was gone.
Can't wait to return! Kudos to the chef-owner & all the staff that make this long time restaurant outstanding.
This is one of our favorite places to eat. The food is always excellent. The meringue hazelnut dessert was to die for!
I would recommend evening dining over lunch. Service was so-so. Ordered crab cakes only to be told that they did not carry them that day, meaning we had to go back into the menu to find a second choice. One member of are party found no gluten-free option so chose the chicken salad. It was served on a single piece of lettuce with no additional fixings i.e. tomato, onion, etc. Asked for remainder of food to be packaged up to go and never saw it again. We had to leave due to a meeting deadline. I've been to Maldaner's for dinner and have experienced excellent service and food choices. Hopefully, they will add some gluten free items to their menu.

We always have a Christmas dinner with our best friends. We have been to Maldaner’s twice in three years and never been disappointed. We had a wonderful evening and the food was fabulous! It is one of few places that my friend and I can dress up!

The first course was very good the goat cheese salad was great but the main course beef wellington and prime rib and dessert bread pudding both were bland especially the sides and had little to no flavor for $120 for 2 people I expected much more.
A great evening with friends. Prime rib was perfect and lobster bisque phenomenal. Service was top notch. Jessie was a great waiter. Our favorite restaurant in Springfield.

Maldeners always delivers a great dining experience. The menu change sounds with the seasons. Source of ingredients is often identified on the menu. The rack of lamb and beef Wellington were both excellent and perfectly prepared. The bread served here is amazing! Parker is a great server. We will be back.
Varied menu even allowed me to indulge in calves’ livers. Good selection of salads and desserts as well. Comfortable.

Nice surprise in Springfield. Excellent service through out the meal. Warm crusty bread. Good cocktails. The mussels were incredible - huge and delicate with a broth that was complex and drinkable. Sauce on the calve's liver was rich and deep - wonderful on the mash. Don't skip dessert. Met chef/owner at the end of the meal. Nice place.

What a surprise. We expected a good meal and this to be a nice place. But, everything exceeded our expectations. The Hostess called me the week before my reservation to confirm everything was still correct; made valuble recommendations when she understood our reason be being in the area, and them remembered the details of our visit upon our arrival. . The service could not have been better and the food was absolutely wonderful. (The pork chop is amazing). We had a wonderful couple of days in Springfield. Our meal here was a big part of this!! Very very good.
The food was great but we felt sorry for the waiter as the restaurant was packed from the crowds of a near by convention. Because of this he could not be as attentative and the service suffered. We waited an hour for salad and appetizers. We have been there before and it was lovely.

Excellent variety of fresh dishes featuring cuisine that will meet everyone's taste. Entrees are generous, as are the desserts. Atmosphere is old school Springfield, and the wait staff appears to be knowledgeable of the fine details of service. Your water glass will never be missing a sip for more than 30 seconds. In my opinion, the ribeye I ordered would have been acceptable at almost any steakhouse, and others at my table enjoyed the halibut special. So if you're celebrating, or just looking for an upscale dining experience, I'd definitely consider Maldaner's.

The food is always good at Maldaners’s. The salmon was fresh and cooked to perfection. The prime rib was tender and had very little fat.
We have been to this restaurant several times. The food and service has always been fantastic. The Beef Wellington is a house specialty and is one of our favorites. We highly recommend Maldaner’s for a great meal.
Service was great, but our food was average at best. We might try them again sometime, but not in a hurry to go back.
Car show parade. And family members were part of it. So I requested an outside table to have a good view of the parade and their car. Noisy, and a bit breezy, but worth every minute!!
Steak was fantastic - filet special. Bread pudding and salads were wonderful. The pasta sauce was scorched. No way to make it better when that happens. Our server was really, really slow. Many groups of people entered, ordered three courses, ate, left, before we had our main course. It seemed to be a matter of which server you had. We never want to be rushed, but it was an exceedingly long wait.
The duck and beef wellington were both top notch! :)

A modest store front, very casual. Food is outstanding. Fresh, local ingredients, expertly prepared and displayed. Plentiful portions - split the risotto with sweet corn and the grilled lamb - there's plenty for a date. Wanted to get dessert, too just not enough room. Will be back next time in Springfield.
