La pwesona que nos sirvió en l mesa tenía muy mala predisposición y mal carácter.
Great outdoor dining experience, very professional and friendly wait staff. The only negative is that we sat in the outdoor mall area near the bar, very quiet and serene but...SMOKERS!
Siempre es perfecto todo, atención, comida, ambiente, exageradamente bueno.
Excellent service, food as always was great, a bit louder maybe because was Saturday night
Had fun food was different than the last few times we have been there. But over all it was a good time.
Always consistently perfect. Best restaurant in Miami.
Excellent as always. We go very often and always is 10/10.
Pleasantly surprised by this restaurant. Room staff and food all amazingly great.
Birthday party of 5
Made reservation to celebrare 1st year wedding anniversary which was added to reservation request, however server made no comment or acknowledged our special occasion being celebrated at Makoto. Furthermore, during the dinner, one of the managers came by to ask how we were and we advised we were celebrating our 1st wedding anniversary, which he congratulated us, but that was all. There was no special little sweets or detail to celebrare our special day, which coming from such a Fine Restaurant was very disappointing. Would not recommend for a special ocassion, it was just any other day/guest for the restaurant. Not happy. Extremely disappointed.
Very poor gluten free options. Service was not great. Seated outside and they put a table of 10 right next to us and had to ask to be moved. Food was just average. Won’t be back.
This place is getting worse
As always it was fabulous! A little noisy but I guess that is part of the charm.
The food was absolutely delicious. From fresh sushi, two Delicious Way good beef. Highly recommend it. A little bit pricey, but well worth it
My top 3 favorite restaurant in Miami! The food is always the most tasty and the ambiance!
Aside from being ignored the first 30 minutes by our waitress after the initial welcome, we enjoyed our food after the manager noticed us looking for our server and took the order himself. They also were out of the one dessert we wanted to try. Mediocre experience. We were excited to celebrate our anniversary but it was a little less sweet than we expected between the service and no dessert.
Es la primera ocasión en los años que tengo frecuentando el restaurant, que la comida llega de forma alterada y con demoras excesivas.
Rice is way too salty-can’t understand how an establishment rated so highly can have anything but perfect food, especially with something as simple as rice.
Dress code definitely NOT business casual. More smart casual, judging from the attire of the rest of the patrons.
The entry is confusing-you walk through the outdoor serving area where there is a desk but it’s not the greeting station (it looks like it is but it’s not).
This is an option if you want a quick bite whilst shopping, as you can be in & out within an hour. It’s more of higher end take out than the fine restaurant of the same name you can find in other countries.
I can’t stress enough how AMAZING this restaurant is. The food is absolutely incredible and the service is over the top. Best place for a nice dinner in Miami.
Great place. Amazing and fresh sushi. Really good tapas. Overall a great experience. Been coming here for years and it’s always been one of my favorite Restaurants in Miami.
Noodle to much salt
As usual, very good japaneese food
Maki are excellent
Outstanding food and service
Cómo siempre, todo estuvo espectacular! La comida y el servicio, magníficos!
We have been here many times, the service is always great... the food was outstanding as always!!
I went to Makoto on a dinner date with the hubby. The food is amazing. The fish is always fresh. The only complaint was our waiter. He was condescending and rude. Even my husband said he talks to people like they are stupid. I never had such bad service at Makoto. That kind of attitude put a damper on our night. We where seated in the back court yard.
Fantastic as always!!!!
Fix the chairs, the chair our bench was broken. Also, we were seated in the front, close to the hostess stand. It seemed less intimate and ruined the ambiance. It felt like we weren’t part of the restaurant, on display (no barrier between the waiting area and the table), and unappreciated patrons. Our server was still outstanding.
Poorly run hostess operation. With res waited 35 mins. Ordered 12oz Wagyu, brought a 6 oz cut. Very inattentive waiter. Sushi chefs excellent.
Great food and poor service. Had to get up my table several times to get something
It’s our fourth time going to Makoto, and there is almost nothing bad that I can say of this place. Food is excellent, when I say excellent, I really mean that you will be talking for three days after your dinner of how good the food was. The only thing they could get better is the friendliness of some of the staff. Other than that all good. Would highly recommend. Freshest sushi in town.
Good place to dining. Thanks a lot the food was good and our waiter was very kind, some of the furniture need some up grade
except for the noise that was very loud, it was wonderful !
We enjoyed a delicious lunch - food was awesome and presentation was beautiful! Tim, the manger is very professional and considerate of his patrons! Best manager!
Good food and nice place
We came here on a recommendation from Food Network. The sushi was slightly better than what you can find in a grocery store. The dumplings were so salty that they were barely edible. It is sad to say that sushi in Nebraska is far superior than this place. I would advise to look elsewhere for sushi in Miami.
High price but outstanding and innovative cuisine, noise level too high
