Maison Blanche Ratings and Reviews
Always lovely, they make you feel welcome regardless of how long it has been between visits. As only seasonal residents, we visit perhaps only once a year. Food is delicious. The risotto with French black truffle was an extreme indulgence but no better place to have it expertly prepared than Maison Blanche. Timing was wonderful, service was wonderful, but the food was definitely on the rich side.
Maison Blanche is our favorite restaurant in Sarasota. It is a hidden gem on Longboat Key, tucked away in the Four Winds Beach Resort. The space is simple, yet elegant. The food is superb, the best French food in Sarasota and possibly in Florida. Service is impeccable.
The wine list has something for all tastes and all price points. When we dine here, it is like a trip to Paris. This is one of the best restaurants in Florida.
Our favorite Sarasota restaurant. Consistently delivers great food with superior service. Sarasota has plenty of “ok” restaurants but less than a handful of restaurants that can regularly impress with food preparation, creativity, quality and service.
Maison Blanche delivers it all at a fair and reasonable price.
Maison Blanche has been our favorite restaurant for almost 18 years. Exquisite tastes for even a seasoned palate- Jose has demonstrated consistency and artistry to every plate. This elegant venue has captured our hearts for every special occasion and remains our go-to for a predictable treat, classic ambience and welcoming patronage by Victoria and gratitude seen in Jose’s smile.
It felt as though we were back in France. The special bites provided in addition to our menu selections were FANTASTIC and the wine pairings we requested of our server were FABULOUS! A true gem and in our opinion EVERY BIT AS GOOD as Beach Bistro. You must try!
many visits to this fine restaurant and the service has always been 5 stars. The menu is limited ( no salad as an example) for ala carte? The food is excellent. The actual restaurant is located in a condo complex with drapes around the room. It works however. The wines are a great bargain.
We have tried to go to Maison Blanche several times, but it never worked out. We are very glad we persevered. The food was outstanding, as was the service. The décor is a little dated, probably meant to be 60s elegant. But we don't care about the décor. And LBK is full of people in their 70s and 80s, who probably think it is just right. The restaurant is pretty expensive, but it is still high value. We definitely will return when we have a special occasion.
