Great dinner, nice wines. Our waiter, Luis, was fantastic. He gave great suggestions and was there when we needed him. The truffle fries are AMAZING!
I really like Main Kitchen, but I would hesitate visiting again without my parka. It was super cold in the dining room, uncomfortably so.
Very tasty and underrated downtown hotel restaurant. All of the classics, done well - but leave plenty of time, the kitchen is quite slow in preparing and bringing out food!
We had a large party of ten, 7 adults and 3 children. The Sunday brunch was perfect for a such a diverse group. We were celebrating a birthday and the manager Robert stepped up to assure that the cake and cupcakes were plated, and placed on a cart for us to use for our brunch. The food was delicious, the kitchen kept the buffet hot and full for all the guest on a busy morning. Two of our party ordered off menu and the wait staff stepped up to aid them immediately! There is no doubt that Main Kitchen runs so well due to upper management. Robert was on hand to oversee all aspects of the brunch that morning and it was obvious he is a seasoned professional. With thanks for all those that went above and beyond at Main Kitchen!
Lunch service was extremely slow! Not good during busy workday!
Everything was ok. The customer service was sub par. The waiter wasn’t very attentive for the type of restaurant and the amount of money spent. However the food was very good and the atmosphere is nice. I would probably not return.
The food was delicious, but our waitress didn’t fill our water glasses until asked and even then it took multiple reminders for the water glass to finally be filled.
Need new menu
Service was sketchy and confused. New?
Green, I mean GREEN mashed potatoes? Presentation seemed to be total direction. Salmon was dry.
Maybe, I'm too normal to understand where the chef is ???
I'll be back because it is convenient, but I will not be able to recommend it.
Great meal; everything tasted great. They were surprisingly busy on the Friday afternoon that we dined. So food service was slow as was the check. Other than that, good meal.
The food was good. The service not so much because of this I won't be back.
Terrible experience. No hostess to great us as we entered. We had to find a waiter to seat us and then nothing for at least 15 minutes. Meanwhile the tables are in the hotel bar which was very load and crowded. Not at all the experience we were looking for compounded by a complete lack of service. After the 15 minutes, we left.
Always enjoy eating here and is a great lunch or dinner spot for business. For lunch I think their prices are a little steep.
For the price, expected more from service; a bit too casual the clientele
Slow service, drinks over priced and tasted worst than a college punch and the food was above average for a chain restaurant (not fine dining by any means)
Service was poor. Waitress wasn’t professional, borderline with arrogance. Didn’t make difference between host and guest, she handed the bill to my guest instead of me.
After 15 minutes of waiting at our table for a server to show up, we finally had to flag someone down to find out if we had a server. Pork tacos not very flavorful. High prices for not high quality food or service.
Decided to go based on reviews we read. The actual experience was a let down. Nothing special...
Nice place for dinner after work and before opera. Food ranges from good to very good. Lamb tagliatelle with raz el hangout a bit too much like lamb stroganoff. Duck was very good.
Good set up and options. Really love the salmon.
Very good food and drinks. Beautiful open space.
Great place to dine after work downtown. Manageable menu with very good choices. Pasta is a strong suit. Cocktails and wine are also good. Yes, it is a hotel restaurant with sports events on tvs, but it is good for casual good dining.
Thank you Christocino for your review! We appreciate your loyalty and look forward to welcoming you again soon. Please stop by during our Happy Hour M-F 4-6pm for your next after work cocktail.
Considering how busy it is for lunch, the service needs to be a lot more expedient. Butternut squash soup needs salt and pepper. Caprese sandwich was good. They need to put something on the table to welcome diners - crunchy bread sticks?
Thank you PujaV for your review! I appreciate your lunch loyalty and hope to welcome you again soon to try our new wonderful lunch menu. There have been a few curated modifications to our delightful dishes, including the option for local bread service!
Only 2 people were in service for the entire restaurant. We had to wait forever to be seated and waited on. The food was good, but the menu is sparse. Our drinks were never refilled. We literally had to yell out to get someone’s attention to take our order. They told us the only server scheduled for that morning had walked out. Very unprofessional. Not up to Marriott standards. We won’t be back!
Food and drink were excellent. I have been to Main Kitchen many times and am never disappointed.
Great food. Adequate service. Thank you.
Good place for a business lunch. Good pizza and salads and good service.
The waitress was friendly and helpful. My young daughter ate at Main Kitchen twice during our visit and they were heavy handed with the pepper grinder. We requested no pepper on her food, yet it was on her food items. Items from a children's menu should not be covered in pepper.
We have eaten at the Main Kitchen multiple other times and never encountered this problem.
Lovely meal and great service - thanks to our server Mauro.
Food was very good
This was my second time here, and I was pleasantly surprised at the efficient and friendly service. My previous time was an ok experience, but this was excellent. The food is very good - I had a Buddhe Bowl and soup and my guest had a burger - all simple but well prepared.
This was a pre Eagles concert meal and it was delicious. The server was very attentive to our needs and the atmosphere was pleasant.
Good food and service. A little on the expensive side but it works well for a business lunch.
I didn’t want to write a
Food is tasteless and poorly cooked. Don’t get the jumbo gulf shrimp, they are tiny. Very disappointing. Service and ambiance was fine.
The Short rib sopes were fantastic!
Loved this hotel! Quiet rooms, great service, Morgan at the front desk was super helpful. Will definitely be back!
Great as usual.
We were disappointed with this pre-theater venue. Everything about ti was off . The manager did comp one meal, which we didn't ask for, because it was very dry. He was very very kind and apologetic. It may just have been a bad night and because of their kindness we may try it again.
We had a lovely lunch at main kitchen. Good service and good food, would definitely come back here.
