Excellent food, excellent wait staff and great location. Would eat there again!
This was underwhelming. Putting aside COVID-related limitations, service was harried and often hit or miss. Impoverished wine list. Uninspired menu items. Overpriced. However no real competition nearby so I suspect they are used to not needing to produce a quality experience.
Birthday celebration - excellent service and food
We spent a weekend at the Mt. Washington Hotel for our 5-year anniversary. Dinner in the Main Dining Room was absolutely wonderful. It was still light out so we got to enjoy the Mountain View through the windows while we ate. My wife had a braised short rib that was delicious and my Pork Schnitzel was crisp and flavorful. To mark the occasion they brought us a piece of Chocolate cake topped with Peanut butter mousse. It was a perfect end to the meal.
We had a beautiful view from our table by the window! The food was pretty good. I had the lobster pot pie, and to be honest it did t have much lobster in it! The desserts were very good, we had the blueberry hand pie with white chocolate ice cream & the carrot cake. The service was excellent- Bernice was great! We were celebrating our anniversary & my husband’s cousin’s anniversary as well- so we had a very enjoyable evening! The resort is gorgeous with an incredible view!!
Beautiful views of the mountains. The food was great and the service was better. Will definitely be going back.
Our waitress, Vanessa, seemed stressed and she wasn't pleasant or helpful when we asked questions about the menu.
We started with coffee. Seems simple enough, but it was extremely dark and smelled burnt. When we shared our concerns, she assured us it was freshly brewed. We didn't want it and asked her to take it away and, after several minutes, she returned with fresh brewed coffee.
We ordered and, after waiting an HOUR, we received our meals..... which were cold. My ribeye (Cote De Boeuf $75 double-cut, bone-in ribeye) was lukewarm and the potatoes weren't warm enough to melt butter. When we complained to Vanessa, she said "The meals took longer because the thick steak took longer to cook." My steak was cold!
We asked for the manager and he could tell right away there was a problem because the potatoes weren't warm enough to melt butter and the plates were cold. We told him we weren't interested in waiting for new meals since we had already waited an hour so we left.
We expected so much more.
A bit disappointing! They have renovated and as a result there are no tables for two by the window and the old elegance has been diminished- The menu seemed kind of limited and not very creative- and the food and drinks were expensive for what you get.
Wonderful food. Wonderful venue. Spectacular views. Neighboring table much too loud and boistrous
Limited menu with horrible selections. Server awful ! Overpriced! Hard bread with mussels! Burnt hamburger! Creme brûlée awful! Caesars salad was a lettuce and an egg! I was so disappointed we took my mother day for her 85th birthday
Good place for gathering friends and family. Excellent!
Excellent food and service. A bit pricey and little loud on weekends if there is a wedding in the next room.
Resort has gone down market
No tablecloth’s at dinner
Shorts ripped jeans hiking gear
Food very ordinary but with quality pricing
Weinerschnitzel is pan fried not deep fried in fat
$10 for bread
$23 for a 6 oz glass of house wine
Cold “hot” buffet breakfast. Had my plate microwaved
Don’t eat in main dining room
The dining room is elegant with beautiful views across the Presidential range. Their nightly menu is much more interesting than what they show online. The food was excellent and the service equally so.
The food was amazing! We went for a birthday celebration and was not disappointed!
We went to this resort for my husband’s birthday - as it’s a favorite for outdoor activities and golf. I was a little hesitant have dinner in this restaurant in the main dining room - as it wasn’t stellar several years ago and I’m worried the cove it might not of helped improve the situation; but was I ever wrong! The salads (Caesar and seafood Cobb) and soup (corn chowder) were unbeatable. Perhaps only surpassed by the braised beef, halibut and burgers for the kids. My husband summed it: ‘You know I’m a food snob- but this is better than what we have in Boston. I’ll come back just for dinner!’ Service and ambiance equally stellar.
Great food and drinks, dining room has been updated, place is beautiful
Food was excellent! Elegant dinner hall, friendly staff, highly recommended! Will be back!
The food choices for vegans and vegetarians is limited and while the dishes can be customized there's still limited choice for those not eating dead animals. The waiter was able to find something from outside the menu once we mentioned that we had eaten a veggie burger from the cafe. Service was great.
Limited menu choices and too expensive!!! Need more vegan and gluten free options. Breakfast buffet ....not the best option during covid. We have liked to have the option to order breakfast at the table with smaller portions available.
The food was below average and expensive. I feel because we were there right before Memorial weekend that the hotel was concentrating f on getting ready for the holiday and not interested in the guests who were already guests. We ate in the Main Dining room and in Stickneys, both had very few choices . Unfortunately I ordered chicken & dumplings @ $28😳 which is ok if it was good but it was nothing g but stewed chicken & pasty dumplings . The hotel is lovely, the view spectacular but the food & rooms in the main hotel need a lot of improvement .
Incredibly slow service, but the waiter was pleasant. I blame covid
The room is beautiful. A little understaffed. Food was very good, but the short ribs were not hot enough. The quality of the beef rib was outstanding. My wife had the salmon and she loved it.
I’d like to try it again when everything is back in full swing.
Nice dinner - good service - lovely special location - millennial couple next to us were on their phones 95% of the meal -scrolling and at times speaking to whoever called them - put the phone down only to take a bite of their dinner - smh.
Dinner and service was outstanding, as usual. There's no place like it...
Excellent food and service as always. Noted that it was my wife and Is anniversary and we were given complimentary dessert and a table with a gorgeous window view. Great wine options to pair with all of their entrees. Can’t recommend highly enough.
We were quite disappointed at the dining experience at the main dining room..Food was marginal..Trip advisor should not list your restaurant as one of the top restaurants in the area..We went to Wentworth Inn on the previous day..They outshine Mt Washington Omni in every way.. Food was marginal..Also we were surprised how empty the main dinning room was considering we had over 200 people in our group staying at the hotel..Says something about the quality..
Delicious food and excellent service. The presentation and quality of the food was outstanding.
Food and service were great. Highly recommend to anyone!!! Our server was very knowledgeable and helpful.
Great meal; thank you. Great meal; thank you. Great meal; thank you.
The dining room, service, and staff at the hotel were wonderful. The views were beautiful and we felt totally welcomed even though we had come from hiking in the rain and we’re not dressed in clothing fit for the restaurant. ( we snagged a last minute reservation)
The food was good, but not amazing. We order a rare fillet that was definitely medium. The peas in the risotto were likely pea non-sweet peas (big and starchy).
However after a year of avoid restaurants this was a glorious return to table service and we really enjoyed the experience.
Azem was a fantastic server. He asked for our feedback, had great wine suggestion, and was engaging. Really made our dinner fun. On the downside, our soup (lobster and corn chowder) was barely room temperature and we had to ask for a table with a view even though there were several available when we were seated.
The menu was not the sane as that listed on Open Table which is where we were required to make our reservation. The actual menu was so limited that there was only one option that my wife could eat. Had the Omni ensured the information was accurate we would have opted for a different venue.
Also, don’t bother mentioning seating requests or special occasions with requests for birthday cakes as theses requests will go completely ignored.
The waiter should be fired period.
Food was great, a little salty but still tasty. Our server was great at the beginning but felt like she forgot about us between the end of dinner and desert when the restaurant was getting busy.
Very friendly and accommodating staff, great atmosphere and food.
Food was amazing!!! Drinks were incredible and the service was second to none!!
Excellent way to spend Easter! Food, atmosphere, service were all excellent.
Great food and service to compliment the amazing views, can't wait to come back!
